Krauts Up to 5-0 Behind McNair's Arm, Quarterback's Scores Five Times in Outings vs Xanneria and Anthor
The game against Anthor was an unexpected blowout against a tough football team. With McNair in tow, the team racked up 38 points total behind his three touchdowns passing, and one rushing, while Vice Jackson III hammered a run in himself. And of course, the reinforcements finally arrived in the form of Julius Volt and Zach Skinner on the defensive line and Ross Monarch at linebacker a week later. They were needed.
Against Xanneria, Ranoria was held to just 17 points, and may have conceded more than that had they not had additional help. Volt and Skinner each rushed the passer effectively, but with their spelling guys like William Teller and Emmanuel Miller, both of those playmakers got to the quarterback as well. The defensive line was disruptive all game long, totaling 7 sacks in that contest. Monarch, on his end, was magnificent with twelve tackles. two for a loss, in his World Bowl debut.
With so much pressure up front, it was only natural that poor throws would result in turnovers. With three against Xanneria, Ranoria's secondary finally came to life, and we can expect that to continue throughout the tournament.
In these two outings, Derek McNair threw for well over 600 yards, combined, and his pass catchers took advantage. Johnny Farmer, who also notched his first sack of the season, reeled in 14 catches for 196 yards and a pair of scores between the two games, showing out after his poor play in week 3. Top wideout Ricardo Jackson also showed that he has some left in the tank, with a dozen receptions and 227 yards in that same stretch, securing a touchdown grab as well. Those two, along with top back Vice Jackson III, are providing this team with plenty of offensive juice.
At this point, the Krauts are a strong 5-0. Space and Xanneria are each sitting at 3-2, within spitting distance but certainly not a concern right now, especially if the team manages to knock off Space a second time in week 6. Both of those squads are quality football teams, however, and we aren't out of the woods yet. This next game is critical to the Krauts' chances of securing a second straight 10-0 regular season, and a top spot in the group.

Krauts Pitch Shutout In Emotional Win After Star Quarterback’s Passing
It wasn’t always pretty, and the offense was stagnant but for a few drives, but a win is a win, and after this week’s shocking news, that was more than anyone could have expected. Ranoria’s quarterback, Derek mcNair, was found shot in his home on Sunday night a week ago now, in what has been ruled as a murder-suicide. The team had to scramble to adjust its game plan, with the completely immobile Baker Owens being thrust into the spotlight. Owens struggled, throwing an interception and finishing the game with 199 yards. That may not seem like an abysmal yardage total, but Owens was given 40 attempts, not counting four sacks, and thus averaged under five yards an attempt.
Worse yet, a good chunk of those yards came on two plays where Owens did nothing special. Johnny Farmer reeled in a drag route on a contested catch, covered far too tightly to throw, and somehow shedded the tackler and broke three more on a fifty yard catch and run. Ricardo Jackson would later burn defender Comet Jetson on a post route, with five yards of separation from any defender, resulting in a 44 yard pickup.
Without McNair, it was clear the offense was hampered. The play action game in particular wasn’t as open, with many plays requiring a passer to move with or out of the pocket. Those were unavailable, as were various screens that require similar athleticism, read option plays, etc.
And frankly, Owens wasn’t even an effective passer. The career backup will have to play better if he wants to keep winning. Fortunately, the Krauts defense was on fire tonight, as its new additions seemed to mesh with the rest of the squad. The defensive unit racked up an astounding eight sacks and two interceptions of its own along with four forced fumbles, two of which they recovered. What we saw yesterday in a shutout over very strong football team was what we will need with a hampered offense.
The bright spot? Vice Jackson III and Elijah Sampson. The two combined for 31 carries and 166 yards, with the former running in the team’s sole touchdown of the day. Raul Nieler was impressed with the two, saying that Sampson may have earned himself a larger role, having consistently produced with limited opportunities.
Jackson, in particular, was dominant. He finished with 132 rushing yards and a score, along with 6 catches. Those produced just 29 yards, but with Owens at quarterback, any yardage on receptions is impressive.
However, Nieler made it clear that Jeremiah Quill, a practice squad guy hasn’t played in a game since college, may get the start this week. This offense requires a mobile quarterback, and “If neither signal caller can throw effectively, we may as well have a guy who can run in there,” were his words on the matter.
Regardless, this team is in trouble without McNair, and the nation as a whole is mourning his loss. The quarterback position was the centerpiece of this unit, and that has now been ripped away in uncertain circumstances, as details are still being put together.

"Hello? Ok, the signal is up. -sigh- Look, whoever gets this, I'm about to do something horrible that might send some consquences to my own nation. The world or the whole multiverse is infinite than our expectations, but I intend to reach a certain point of it. If the calcutations are correct, since the rest of them were wrong...I might end up reaching a dimension or rather a different plane of reality that is impossible. I know what I'm trying to prove. It's heresy against many religions, but with the knowledge of science, I'm able to do the impossible. Now I need you to-"
BANG BANG BANG "-He's in here!"
"Damn! I want you to send this to Princess Keller Harrington, no matter who you are, if you receive this! I need you to tell her what I'm trying to do is for the right purposes of the greater good! Harrington, if you get this...I want you to know that some of the things I did for you were for a personal reason! Not out of hate, but for your sake!"
