Original Ideal by Jutsa "Issue about facial recognition software, perhaps about whether or not it should be restrained from being worked on too fast."
My interpretation: Facial recognition software being used by Yamason in stores for non-contact payment
Issue name: None yet.
Eligibility: Scientific advancement high, good retail sector.
Background: Yamason, one of the largest companies in @@NATION@@, recently unveiled a new tool for non-contact checkout, which uses facial recognition to track purchases and product history. Now some privacy rights activists and the Yamason CEO are waiting outside your office waiting to give their opinion on this issue.
Option A: "This is ridiculous!" argues privacy activist @@RANDOMNAME@@. "First they took our purchasing history, then tracked every detail of our internet history, and now our faces too? @@LEADER@@, you must lay down strict laws to protect consumers and prevent misuse of this information by Yamason and other large data companies!"
Result: The "recommended for you" section of Zootube is not accurate at all.
Option B: "Oh please" sighs Yamason CEO @@RANDOMNAME@@. "Our data privacy standards are the best out of all competing companies. We might have merged all the competitors last year, but the point still stands. If anything, you should give us laxer regulation, so we can better fill our pockets...em, shopping consumer's baskets!"
Result: Yamason knows citizens of @@NATION@@ better than they do themselves.
Option C: Out of nowhere, your Minister of State Security pops out, wearing their trademark dark cloak. "I do think this technology shouldn't be allowed, at least for private companies. But what do you say we take this facial recognition technology to track dissidents and criminals? It sounds like a great idea to make our country safer."
Result: Mask-wearing is common in @@NATION@@
