There are two forms of motor racing in Destyntine. The formal national event takes place with hovercars created by professional Destynic auto manufacturers. The annual race takes place with these flying cars in an obstacle course arena.

The other kind is traditional motor racing. These events are unofficial and not endorsed by the Destynic government. These races are normally held in the desolate areas where people put together scrap vehicles to race through the wilderness.

Association football and gridiron football are enjoyed nationally, and command greater audiences and generate a much higher income.

Rugby union, rugby league, cricket, baseball, ice hockey are all watched and played a lot, but all are tied to a certain area of the country. In the case of baseball and cricket, they're even tied to a certain season, which means their areas have a 'winter sport' and a 'summer sport'.
