In order to ease the peaceful transfer of power this coming January, Amazon has offered its Prime delivery service to ship Donald J. Trump out of the White House within twenty-four hours.

Speaking from his corporate headquarters, the Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos, said that he understood why Trump had misgivings about leaving the White House. “Moving is always hard,” Bezos said. “At Amazon, we want to make Donald Trump’s move as speedy as possible.”

Bezos said that, on Inauguration Day, an Amazon Prime delivery truck will arrive at the White House to prepare Trump for shipping, “free of charge.”

After he has been packed, bar-coded, and scanned into the system, Bezos said, Trump will be expedited to the destination of his choice.

“Amazon Prime guarantees that he will be at Mar-a-Lago within twenty-four hours,” Bezos said, adding that it would take slightly longer if the shipping address is in Moscow.

I don't think you understand how the Courts work...

The Justices on the Court are not Republicans. In fact, most aren't affiliated with partisan organizations in anyway. The term Conservative or Liberal refers to their interpretation of the Constitution, with Conservatives tending towards siding with an originalist, meaning that the way the Constitution was written in the late 1780s. By contrast, most liberal justices view the Constitution as a living document and take an interpretative view of the document, arguing that the Framers intended for the Constitution to change and evolve over time.

Both Republicans and Democrats have nominated liberal and conservative justices to the Supreme Court. Note that Sandra Day O'Connor, who frequently sided with the liberal wing of the Court, was nominated by Reagan.

President Trump is correct when he said, there are leftist judges, what he did not say is, there are leftist US Supreme Court Justices like RBG at the time, and right wing Justices like Brett Kavanaugh.

This is why a conservative right wing majority on the US Supreme Court is important to the Republican Party, and a Leftist Liberal Democrat majority on the US Supreme Court is important to the Democratic Party. The Courts aren't leftist or rightist. They're the Courts. Their interpretation of the Constitution is different, but the Courts are not the same kind of partisan institution that Congress is. Republicans and Democrats frequently vote across the aisle and across party lines on Justices (note Justice Roberts' confirmation hearings and those for Justice Sotomayor).

The President and McConnell have chosen to make the Courts a partisan issue.

Except the Republicans specifically stated that they set a precedent in 2016 not to appoint a SC in election year. The Democrats didn't say it, the Constitution doesn't say it, only the Republicans said this.

They should at least follow their own words no?
