Visitor's Guide to the District of Fenrir

A little slice of what the twisted beast known as the United Dominion has to offer the world. Entrance within the Dominionite District is very tight, but not as tight as those in place at Fortress Pax, my dear visitor. Normal visitors to District of Fenrir have two options; Geri Seaport and Freki Airport, both located on the north side of the District of Fenrir (Closest to the Pax Gothica District) United Dominion Custom Guards control both Geri Seaport and Freki Airport allowing entrance into the District of Fenrir by running ever normal visitors into a worldwide databases. Can't let monster hunters into the safe haven to non-humans can you, my dear visitor?

Below, my dear visitors, you will find key elements of the District of Fenrir listed;

Geri Seaport and Freki Airport:
These two locations are the first thing normal run of the mill visitors are greeted when arriving within the District of Fenrir. The seaport has docks large enough to vessels the size of a cruise ship. The airport has runways for large commercial airplanes. A hundred wall of steel and thick bullet-proof glass blocks the seaport and airport from the rest of the District of Fenrir. All visitors are funneled through six gates manned by United Dominion Custom Guards.

The Lupine Center for Dominionite Culture and Heritage:
After being cleared for entrance, the first thing that visitors will be greeted with what looks like a small university campus. A total of sixteen large buildings make up the Lupine Center for Dominionite Culture and Heritage. Visitors will learn the following; details on the races of the United Dominion, ths history of the United Dominion as a whole, and the history of the Gothica Dominion Commonwealth.

Timber Wolf Incorporated – Fenrir Complex:
On the opposite side of the District of Fenrir is a mega complex that takes the whole width of the island. Timber Wolf Incorporated is the largest company within the United Dominion, also owned by Caesar Jason Scotus Lupus.

Four eight hundred feet tall skyscrapers, each one representing an element of TWI, surround a thousand feet tall skyscraper in the center. The bottom four stories of each building are open to the public, the rest of the buildings are blocked from public access. Warehouses, both small and large, dot the grounds of the complex. A chain-link fence, topped with razor wire, blocks the northern side of the complex with the rest of the District of Fenrir.

The first ever prototype Negaphoenix class battleship built is docked, along with the first ever prototype Panzer Giant airborne aircraft carrier on the complex's airstrip. Both act as museums. (Note: Studying the designs of either will end in failure as they are prototypes.)

Fenrir Cathedral – The Church of Eternal Light:
Just south of the Lupine Center for Dominionite Culture and Heritage, visitors will find the Fenrir Cathedral. A large cathedral that can house over a few thousand souls during a service. Located on the grounds are the following; housing for the priests and nuns, barracks for a division of Eternal Light Templers. Within these walls, a visitor can learn about the United Dominion only religion.

Districts of the Nations of the United Dominion:
There are thirty districts around the District of Fenrir, each one representing one of the nations of the United Dominion. Each of the districts houses an estate on fifty acres that act as museums to the Royal House of that nation. (Note: Recruitment stations of the United Dominion Foreign Legion are located in each district)

The Statue of Caesar Jason Scotus Lupus:
Located in the very center of the District of Fenrir, the Statue of Caesar Jason Scotus Lupus faces towards the Gothica Dominion Commonwealth. Made out of copper and steel. 700 feet in total (100 feet base, 600 monument height) with a flag pole in his left, flying a 160 x 120 flag of the United Dominion. Dressed in his trademark cowboy hat, boots and duster with a cigar in his mouth, the Count wields an AK-47 in his right hand pointing towards the direction of Fortress Norska.

Your Savior's Garden:
Surrounding the base of the Statue of Caesar Jason Scotus Lupus is a circular garden that is five hundred acres in total. These gardens are planted with only dark colored trees and flowers. Your Savior's Gardens act as the government center for the District of Fenrir, housing the following; the Estate of the Chairman of the Fenrir Council, the Fenrir Council Cambers and other Governmental buildings. Public access is barred.

The Statues of the Fallen:
The Fallen, also known as the Hounds of Caesar, have their own place within the District of Fenrir. Twelve beings that are known to lead the brave men and women of the United Dominion Military. The statues of the Fallen, six on the sides of the Dominionite island evenly spaced out, are smaller than the statue of Caesar at 400 feet total (100 feet base, 300 monument height). Each statues faces the ocean surrounding the District of Fenrir. Made out of copper and steel.

The Law and Order of the District of Fenrir

My dear visitor, you will find that the police duties of the District of Fenrir differ from the other District of Pax Gothica. The presence of the Order of Pax Custodes is present within the District of Fenrir, but in places they are limited to what they can do.

The United Dominion Custom Guards work with the Custodians at the Geri Seaport and the Freki Airport for the overall safely of all visitors and residents of the District of Fenrir.

Within Your Savior's Garden, the law and order is handled solely by the Fenrir High Guardians, also known as the Hounds of Fenrir. The Fenrir High Guardians are a paramilitary division of the United Dominion Law Enforcement.

The Government of the District of Fenrir

The District of Fenrir is govern by a council of thirty-two men and woman; one representative from each of the nations of the United Dominion, one representative from the Church of Eternal Light and one representative from Timber Wolf Incorporated. The Fenrir Council is lead by the Chairman of the Fenrir Council, a position held by a person placed by Caesar Jason Scotus Lupus himself.

The End of the Visitor's Guide to District of Fenrir

I hope you, my dear visitor, have enjoy a quick view of the District of Fenrir. Enjoy your stay!

Skyan Embassy

Jordanus was taken aback at first by the bold suggestions of Almaric, referring to the potential of the universe beyond. He shot a quick glance at his Skyan counterpart; both were well aware of joint Gothic efforts to venture out deeper into the solar system, including the station operated on the moon of Ganymede orbiting Jupiter. The Imperium Antiquum, for her part, operated research stations on both Luna and Mars for a variety of scientific projects, particularly those looking to harness the wonders of the universe for the further advancement of human civilisation. Jordanus even knew that some private ventures in Kylarnatia working with the Imperial Space Agency were currently exploring the feasibility of asteroid mining. But what Almaric seemed to possess was far beyond that.

Gholgoth was no stranger to extraterrestrial powers, however.

Maintaining his composure, the Imperium Antiquum's Ambassador to the Gothic Council continued their conversation. "Your Grace, if I may ask: how long has your Empire been invested in such ventures?" He wanted to get a sense of just how expansive the Xeraph's reach into the galaxy was, and from there, he would need to have some pretty frank conversations with his superiors, who from there would have to have a word with their own out-of-this-world acquaintances...

Urba Gothica

Consentia returned to her seat behind her desk with her own glass of Sky Marshall Whiskey, beckoning Ambassador Oakenfist to sit on the opposite site. Savouring the first taste of her beverage, she began their conversation, "So, am I to take it that Morrdun seeks to establish an Embassy within Pax Gothica? Kylarnatia proper, perhaps? I can tell you that Caesar is very interested in Dienstadi affairs, particularly as the paths of both our regions seem to cross quite regularly. Is there anything Morrdun seeks from us in particular, or wishes to offer? You certainly have my attention."

Sin. The glittering malignant gem of Gholgoth. It defied most attempts of classification by the other Gothic powers save for the backwards few who regarded it as little more than a den of whores and narcotics peddlers, but these were the narrow-minded who glanced only at the surface. They did not, and could not, peel back the many corpulent layers of Sin to see its truth. Really, it was the only truth that mattered. What was this truth? One need only ask the Skyan businessmen from Citadel City who frequented its seedy brothels, or Scandin defectors who ran liquor stores, or the Sacredotium officials who quietly visited the narcotics dens. Sin was whatever you needed it to be. It did not judge. It did not care for your past or your future – now is all that matters in Sin. An island given over to the truth of human existence … be merry.

The flash of light and the billow of sulfur that presaged the arrival of the Count had to compete with the endless cacophony of the City of Eternal Wonder. The party would be assaulted first by the sheer magnitude of lights and sounds. Even standing casually in Sin could be hazardous to the uninitiated. An endless march of revelry continued in all directions with raves and carnal festivities spilling out onto the streets from all manners of shops, temples, and homes. There was no semblance of order or rhythm to the music as all genres were blasted from all directions in an endless sensory war for the endorphins of the heaving, pulsating masses. The Count and his retinue were only spared being crushed by the rampaging crowds by the manner of their entrance. The flashbang effect of the teleportation forced the crowds back and would give the party a few minutes of breathing room. They had arrived at the height of a religiously fueled fertility festival dedicated to some goddess that most of the crowd had never heard of nor cared. Nearly anything was worth celebrating in Sin, and so it only took the mere mention of some obscure holiday or event to spark hysterical orgies of ecstasy and debauchery. All around them the buildings, an odd mixture of multiple architectural types from across the Imperial Unions many client cultures, were blaring praises to this foreign god as well as inviting the crowds into their shops to purchase all manner of things that would be strictly illicit in most of Gholgoth.

The Count, unfortunately, could not prevent being noticed and he was far from an obscure figure in Jagada and thereby Gharsash. The Jagites had been fans of the enigmatic ruler of Transylvania, as they called it, since even before the Extermination War. He had multiple personality cults spread amongst the Jagites but increasingly amongst the other cultures that made up the Union. The fact that the Count had once invaded Gharsash centuries ago and attempted to claim it for himself, only to be slowly pushed out of the region over the centuries, made him practically a living saint to some. It took a matter of seconds for the first person to see him, begin screaming, and draw attention to just who the stranger was in their midst. Within minutes others in the crowd began to break their sensory overload and join in the woman’s praise of the Lords of the Dominion. Within minutes he would be surrounded by fanatical, hysterical, and quite intoxicated fans/worshippers.

Looming over all of this was the Tower of Idols. The overcompensation of an entire race clinging to a past that was long dead and scrabbling for a future that was both unlikely and undeserved. Nothing personified this more than the figure at the top of the Tower. The silver-forged statue of Lord Jagada himself/herself, perched on a pedestal and menacing pointing his falchion in the direction of the Norska District.

________ОКРУГ МОЛОТЗГРОД________

Image
Okrug Molotzgrod
Hammer City District

The Aldarminian District, officially named the Okrug Molotzgrod, or "Hammer City District," is the center of the Mirokæzh's diplomatic and trade relations with Gholgoth as well as a hub of international cultural exchange. Named after the Grand Emperor, Hammer City also exists as an exhibition of the Aldarminian Empire's bleeding edge in terms of arcological development and city planning. As such, it is granted the special administrative title of "City of the Future."

With this status comes a unique governmental arrangement between Hammer City and the Imperial Government. Hammer City is a semi-autonomous polity within the Grand Aldarminian Empire, and as such has its own constitution, soviet, and can pass its own laws. Representing the Emperor is the newly-named Ambassador to Gholgoth Marat Suvorov who thus is granted the Voivodeship of Hammer City in the stead of an Azscheyko. Hammer City's 3.12 million residents are represented by the 624 elected District Soviet Ministers, who elect a Soviet Premier every ten years. The District also elects Imperial Representative Ministers to the Imperial Soviet every five years. The District does have a Yarl who is elected for life from a handful of noble families that call the District home. Hammer City's security is maintained by the Aldarminian Imperial Vanguard Order of the Fortresses, a Yarl Defense Corps, and the Pax Custodes.

Set' Dorogsvyatyni na li Lepestke
The Shrineroad Web on the Petal

Image

As is custom, Molotzgrod is planned according to the set' dorogsvyatyn system, wherein a web of roads or canals is created from the leylines of clusters and networks of Dorogish shrines arranged in so many esoteric patterns around a central Dorogish temple. There are thirteen main shrines with roads connecting each one to all the others, totalling for forty-two main roads. At the center of this network is the Vsoka na Lepestke, the High Templex of the Dorogish in the okrug. Per tradition, it is constructed on a large burial mound complex in accordance to sacred geometries. Also, there are additional shrines arranged along the shores of the District, and each is dedicated to a Gothic nation-state, and there are roads connecting each of these to the Vsoka. Then there are even more shrinewebs around every major building or public space. Smaller, pedestrian roads exist to connect these to the primary set'. Lining nearly every small pedestrian thoroughfare as well as some select areas of major roads, there are sanctuaries housing either greenspace or smaller temples. The bridges connecting the District to the rest of Pax Gothica are also flanked by smaller vsoka mound-temples. In conjunction with the underground river network in the Under-City, visitors can get very happily lost in the Shrineroad Web on the Petal of Hammer City.

Kamnemolot
The Stonehammer

The Kamnemolot, or "Stonehammer," is a monolithic statue that stands on an artificial island 333 meters off the coast of Hammer City District. It stands approximately 243 meters tall. Its carving and transport from the Gorsvyat, the Holy Mountain, was ordained and blessed by both the Våshesoff of the Svoboda'Dorozhka and the Krugmæstr of the Bolshoi'Dorozhka. The statue is dedicated to Hammer City's namesake, the Grand Emperor of Aldarminia, Dalikharl II of the Blood Azscheyko. The stone itself is carved with rooms and stairwells for tourist, pilgrims, and even caretaker-residents to stay in and enjoy the hanging crop-gardens that cover and surround the state. Like every major construct on the petal, the Stonehammer is also surrounded by a shrineweb. The statue is in the shape of the mythical hammer Mjolnir of Paran, gifted to the Vizipadran, the High-Father Tharandar. Among the Dorogish and some of the more esoteric visitors, the Kamnemolot is said to be a "ward" or k'iye of protection on not only Hammer City but all of Pax Gothica.

Set' podzemnaya rechnaya
Underground River Network

Image

Though it is called the "Underground River Network," the Under-City of Molotzgrod's waterway Set' is really a network of man-made canals that flow throughout the petal-like landmass. Its general flow leads out to the peripheries of the Harbor of the Guards and under the Stonehammer. The River Network, alongside a pioneering metro, allows visitors and residents of Hammer City to traverse the okrug without ever having to go to the surface if they do not wish to. The Under-City's "riverbanks" are the colonies of the Aldarminian Empire's eternal nightlife, creating a sisterhood with its Jagite counterpart. This has led to the Under-City and the rest of the District to become known as "Hammered City" for its round-the-clock bar service hours. The network of traversible canals also has ancillary flows that provide irrigation for the arcological developments above, beside, and below.

Gavanstrazha
Harbor of the Guards

The Harbor of the Guards is not primarily a commercial zone of the District, though some imports and exports of Hammer city flow through here. Rather, the Harbor serves a multinational base of operations for the local Pax Custodes, Order of the Fortresses Vanguardsmen, and the local Yarl's Defense Corps. Access to the Harbor is heavily restricted, and the area is closely-surveilled. The Harbor is also the host-site for Special International Reconnaissance and Enforcement's Gholgoth Headquarters.

Kozmoport Molotzgrod
Hammer City Spaceport

Image

Another of Hammer City's crowning jewels is its spaceport. Hammer City Cosmoport serves as the primary entry point for extra-Pax visitors to the District. The Cosmoport features arrays of rocket-assisted shuttle launch stations and electromagnetic vehicular projectors as well as a small, supplemental aeroport.

Dvoravvoird
The Palatial Ward

The Palatial Ward exists as the upper crest of Hammer City society. Here are the arco-palaces of Praetor Ryslander I and High Ambassador to Gholgoth Marat Suvorov, as well as a number of international celebrities such as Kosche the Dead God MC.

Arkolozhicheskyy Zona
The Arcological Zones

Image

The Arcological Zones are the primary points of residence for the majority of Hammer City's population. There is a zone dedicated to each Gothic nation with as many of appropriate cultural fixtures as can be imported. The Zones are under the special purview of the District Government and the Overkommissariat of Science as Imperial Research and Development Zones. These arcologies represent the forefront of the technology's development in Aldarminia. They integrate a multiplicity of renewable and communal energy solutions, greenspaces, endemic flora and fauna, and urban architecture to form a sustainable and interconnected ecosystem across the petal-island of the District. Microfarms can be seen as hanging gardens from greenscrapers, and homes are designed for maximal natural sunlighting and environmentally-friend central heating and cooling air conditioning, a necessity of the more Aldarminian inhabitants, considering the warmer environs. In the center of each zone is a communal sanctuary and recreational space. Most of the arcologies extend upward for 48 meters or 16 stories and downward 210 meters or 70 stories for a total of 86 stories of developed spaces for either residential, agricultural, commercial, or communal improvement.

Kvardar Mnogonashiyane i Ekonomicheskyy
Multinational and Economic Quarter

The Quarter is the financial heart of all the business in the okrug. Molotzgrod's finest establishments reside in Commonly-known-as "M-E-Q," and some of Pax Gothica greatest businessmen make regular commutes to the Quarter for a wide assortment of transactions and negotiations. The Gholgothic Energy and Mineral Consortium's Headquarters are also here in the MEQ.

Park Molotzgrod
Hammer City Park

Image

Reaching out from the tributing canal flows of the Underground River Networks is Hammer City Park, an aquacultural experiment in urban-aquatic architectural fusion. Waterfront properties lining the perimeters of the park may more often than not be literally in the water. The Park offers visitors a relaxing and even-more-naturalist place for leisure and recreation.
