MD6
Guesneald Town- Blue Town	2-0
Purple Town-Jersey City 1-1
Coffs Harbour-Kempsey United 1-2
Lighting Ridge-Lutka Town 0-0
Chsava-Ballina FC 1-2
Griffin City-Sepopel 3-2
Purda AC-Athletico Èntland 1-1
Toureres-Ridge AFC 5-0
GCCFC-Salmon Head 3-0
Yamba FC-Ballina RD 1-2

Well Lutka finally did not win a game. They tied lighting ridge in a surprise outcome. Lutka was looking forward to continue their triumph across the league but they failed to as they did not score any goals today. Toureres on the other hand did their part in destroying Ridge AFC 5-0. Roderick Miles played his part in the victory by scoring 2 goals and contributing 1 assist in the domination victory for Toureres. Kempsey avoided a bad outcome by a goal in the 84th minute by Luke Dillan to put them ahead by 1. Ballina FC had another goal scored by Gavin Cook today which brings up a question. Is he one of the best players this year in the KAAF? Well we will have to play further to know.

MD7
Ballina FC-Toureres	2-1
Lutka Town-Yamba FC 3-0
Kempsey United-Lighting Ridge 2-1
Jersey City-Purda AC 1-3
Blue Town-GCCFC 1-4

Ridge AFC-Chsava 1-2
Griffin City-Guesneald Town 1-0
Athletico Èntland-Ballina RD 2-2
Sepopel-Coffs Harbour 2-0

This week certainly had some surprises packed in for us. This included a win by Ballina FC against Toureres which gives Ballina a morale boost going into these next few matches. Kempsey United also beat Lighting Ridge and we now believe that they have finally found their footing this season. Also Èntland tied Ballina Red Devils on a final minute goal by Èntland striker Larry Rodriguez to tie the game up at 2.

MD8
Ballina FC-Lutka Town	1-3
Ballina RD-Ridge AFC 2-0
Purple Town-Sepopel 1-2
Coffs Harbour-Blue Town 1-2
Chsava-Salmon Head 2-0
Purda AC-Griffin City 3-1
Athletico Èntland-Guesneald Town 2-0
Toureres-Lighting Ridge 2-0
GCCFC-Kempsey United 0-1
Yamba FC-Jersey City 3-1

Why is Coffs so bad this season? They have shown despite being expected more as a low mid table team that they may be by far the worst team in the KAAF this season. Lutka Town played Ballina FC another top end team and they ended up handling them pretty easily in a 3-1 win. Èntland played their fierce rivals Guesneald and they put on a good show against them winning 2+0. And one of the most anticipated games coming into the season, GCCFC vs Kempsey United ended up with Kempsey pulling out a win 1-0.

MD9
Blue Town-Purple Town	1-0
Guesneald Town-GCCFC 1-2
Salmon Head-Ballina RD 1-3
Ridge AFC-Coffs Harbour 2-0
Sepopel-Athletico Èntland 1-2
Kempsey United-Yamba FC 3-0
Griffin City-Ballina FC 0-2
Lutka Town-Toureres 1-1
Jersey City-Chsava 1-1
Lighting Ridge-Purda AC 1-0

Lutka Town and Toureres has turned out to be one of the most watched programs in Kalactanian history, pulling in 6.5 million viewers to watch the game between the 2 powerhouses. Each team had goals scored by their star players, Steve Gilbert and Vladimir Artem. The game however, ended in a tie with both teams earning 1 point for their performances. On the other side of the table, Coffs took another loss today 2-0 against Ridge AFC who is also one of the worst teams in the league. Kempsey continues their 8 game win streak as the beat Yamba today.

MD10
Ballina FC-Ridge AFC	3-0
Ballina RD-Lutka Town 1-1
Purple Town-Lighting Ridge 2-2
Coffs Harbour-Guesneald Town 1-3
Blue Town-Sepopel 2-2
Chsava-Toureres 1-3
Purda AC-Kempsey United 0-2
Athletico Èntland-Jersey City 3-0
GCCFC-Griffin City 2-1
Yamba FC-Salmon Head 0-2

It seems as Kempsey cannot be stopped as the roll across the landscape of the league on a 9 game win streak after beating Purda AC today. Again, Coffs got their asses whopped today as they lost 3-1 to Guesneald town. The Ballina Red Devils played Lutka Town and Lutka tied against as they fall on their face after a very fast start. GCCFC played Griffin City who the IFCF always gets confused with the two and GCCFC won ultimately being the better side today.

Table after MD10

Yamba FC 7 10 2 1 7 7 20
Ridge AFC 7 10 2 1 7 7 24
Coffs Harbour 0 10 0 0 10 4 30

Well Kempsey has finally gotten back on their feat and started to win again as they are now on a 9 game win streak and cannot be stopped. Lutka and Toureres both took a step down as they played out a few ties including one between the two of them. The 2 Ballina clubs are both gradually rising up the table as the Ballina FC has harnessed some power in terms of the Left Wing from Havynwilde, Gavin Cook. Even though 2 pripet clubs hold some of the first 4 spots they look to be going down in the table as some Kalactanian clubs are finally improving. Coffs Harbour cannot win at all. It is scary. They now have a -26 GD so far this season at this rate they may be breaking records for being bad soon. Many mid table clubs are stuck in their positions as they try to climb the table to IFCF qualification.

Rumors

1. Should we really look out for Gavin Cook?
Well if you count being 3rd in the league in scoring as being needed to be looked out for, then yes. Cook has shown that he can play with almost any other player in the league and he can single handily improve the quality of the Ballina team by a lot.

2. Can Coffs Harbour win?
Well they should be able to but they haven’t showed it yet. Coming into the season they where supposed to be a mid table team at best but now they are horrible.

3. Can Kempsey be stopped?
We’re not sure. This is a question that gets asked every year but they always end up going into win the league. However, this season it may be something more, they are on a 9 game win streak and they may not be stopped for a while.

MD11
Guesneald Town-Purple Town	1-1
Kempsey United-Blue Town 2-0
Jersey City-Ballina FC 1-2
Lighting Ridge-Sepopel 2-0
Salmon Head-Lutka Town 0-1
Ridge AFC-Athletico Èntland 0-3
Chsava-Yamba FC 4-0
Griffin City-Coffs Harbour 4-0
Toureres-Ballina RD 2-3
GCCFC-Purda AC 1-0

Probably the largest surprise of the day was the 3-2 win that the Ballina Red Devils put on Toureres. Juan Campbell had the game winning goal for Ballina in the 87th minute. That goal along with another one by Campbell put Ballina up 3-2 to surprise a high riding Toureres team. Lighting Ridge who was struggling quite a bit coming into this match day managed to grab a win over fellow mid table squad Sepopel. Coffs Harbour can still not win as they lost 4-0 to Griffin City, a team that they should’ve won against. Lutka Town barely edged out salmon head 1-0. The only goal of the game was scored in the second minute.

MD12
Guesneald Town Jersey City	3-0
Lutka Town-Chsava 3-0
Ballina RD-Ballina FC 1-1
Purple Town-Ridge AFC 3-0
Coffs Harbour-Purda AC 2-0
Blue Town-Griffin City 2-1
Salmon Head-Lighting Ridge 0-1
Athletico Èntland-Kempsey United 0-1
Yamba FC-Toureres 0-1
Sepopel-GCCFC 0-1

Well folks Coffs Harbour finally won a game. In a 2-0 win against Purda AC, Coffs who was 0-0-11 have gained their first points of the season in a 2-0 win. Kempsey s win streak has now reached 11 games and this raises the question again, are they able to lose? We want to say yes as every KAAF fan except for Kempsey United fans don’t want to see a repeat of a Kempsey United championship however, after this year with 2 of their best players retiring we may be seeing the final year of the Kempsey dynasty.

MD13
Ballina FC-Yamba FC	3-0
Kempsey United-Griffin City 1-0
Ballina RD-Sepopel 2-0
Purple Town-Lutka Town 2-1
Lighting Ridge-Guesneald Town 3-1
Ridge AFC-Salmon Head 0-2
Chsava-Coffs Harbour 2-0
Purda AC-Blue Town 3-2
Toureres-Athletico Èntland 1-1
GCCFC-Jersey City 3-0

Well today wasn’t full of that many surprises, of course Kempsey won their 12th straight game and Coffs Harbour who was the happiest team in the world after last week finally found a way to lose. Yamba was holding onto a 0-0 tie in the 70th minute but after that the floodgates opened. A goal was scored by Gavin Cook to put Ballina up 1-0. Then after that Ballina scored 2 insurance goals to secure the game 3-0. The only large surprise of this week was the Entland vs. toureres tie, after Toureres had one of the best teams coming in at the start they have really fallen off the top.

Guesneald Town-Kempsey United	0-2
Lutka Town-Ridge AFC 3-0
Jersey City-Lighting Ridge 3-1
Coffs Harbour-GCCFC 2-2
Blue Town-Ballina RD 0-2
Salmon Head-Toureres 1-1
Griffin City-Chsava 2-1
Athletico Èntland-Ballina FC 1-1
Yamba FC-Purple Town 1-1
Sepopel-Purda AC 2-1

Aye there where some good games today. The Yamba vs Purple town game went down to stoppage time when Purple Town scored a goal to tie it up. And again it looks like Kempsey United may never lose, they continue their beat down of the league with a 13-0-1 record now. And Coffs finally grabbed themselves some more points forcing a draw against a much more skilled Gold Coast Capital side. Èntland also had another tie against a top of the table team with a 1-1 tie against Ballina FC. Toureres also keeps on struggling tipping against Salmon Head.

Ballina FC-Salmon Head	3-0
Purda AC-Guesneald Town 1-0
Chsava-Blue Town 1-0
Ridge AFC-Yamba FC 1-0
Lighting Ridge-Athletico Èntland 0-2
Purple Town-Coffs Harbour 3-0
Ballina RD-Jersey City 1-0
Kempsey United-Sepopel 2-1
Lutka Town-Griffin City 3-0
Toureres-GCCFC 1-3

At this point it might be acceptable to think that Toureres is cursed to play bad once the 10 game mark hits. They again lost a game against a team that they should have been able to play and beat, but the GCCFC team handed it to them today in a 3-1 victory. And again Kempsey continues their reign of terror across the league winning another game today. Lutka also seems to be getting back on track with a 3-0 win over griffin city.

League Table
Team Points	Played	Won	Draw	Lost	GF	GC
Kempsey United 42 15 14 0 1 28 6
Lutka Town 36 15 11 3 1 31 6
Ballina RD 36 15 11 3 1 29 11
Ballina FC 33 15 10 3 2 30 11
Èntland 31 15 9 4 2 27 9
GCCFC 31 15 10 1 4 28 13
Toureres 30 15 9 3 3 32 14
Purple Town 23 15 6 5 4 23 18
Lighting Ridge 21 15 6 3 6 18 16
Chsava 19 15 6 1 8 16 22
Griffin City 18 15 6 0 9 21 22
Guesneald Town 16 15 5 1 9 16 21
Sepopel 16 15 5 1 9 16 23
Blue Town 16 15 5 1 9 16 28
Purda AC 15 15 4 3 8 13 20
Salmon Head 14 15 4 2 9 13 23
Jersey City 11 15 3 2 10 17 29
Ridge AFC 10 15 3 1 11 8 35
Yamba FC 8 15 2 2 11 8 30
Coffs Harbour 4 15 1 1 13 8 41

Well one thing we can take away from these games is that Kempsey does not want to lose. That aren’t just trying to win the league they are trying to put together a team that can go out and win internationally. The Toureres team meanwhile, has started a free fall in the rankings that may not end until they get back on a win streak. Lutka Town is also regaining some of the control they had on the league at the start of the season as they are now only 6 points out of first and have the best goal differential in the league. Despite all the celebrating that happened when Coffs won their first game it has seemed to stop now as all the fans realized that they where still in last place. I mean, the 41 goals that they have given up is by far the worst in the league and it hasn’t been improving lately. Their offense has done better but we think if they want to become good they will have to concede far less goals.

Rumors
Is Kempsey able to lose?
Yes I know we asked this question last week but they seem like that they can’t lose and they are riding a 14 game winning streak now.

Will Toureres stay in a free fall?
It is possible as they are reaching the hardest part of their schedule now, however, once they pass that they could return to their winning ways again.

Is Martin Brown going to transfer out internationally?
At this point it is very well possible as Purple Town is now desperately looking for transfer money they can use to support the club. The Purple Town defender has revealed that he would like to transfer also.

Athletico Èntland Chsava 2 0
GCCFC Ballina FC 0 0
Sepopel Lutka Town 0 1

Well, as we near the halfway point of the league we need to start to take some teams seriously, and that’s what we have already done with Kempsey United. And they lost. In a nail biter Kempsey United lost to Purple Town in a game that the definitely should’ve won. The Ballina FC and GCCFC game also came down to the wire but no team was able to pull out a win for that match. Jersey City pulled out some nice points for their anti relegation campaign that they have been fighting lately. Toureres also got some points in an easy win against Purda AC that could help them in their comeback.

MD17
Ballina FC	Sepopel	1	1
Lutka Town Jersey City 2 0
Ballina RD Purda AC 1 0
Purple Town GCCFC 0 3
Lighting Ridge Coffs Harbour 0 0
Salmon Head Griffin City 1 1
Ridge AFC Kempsey United 0 3
Chsava Guesneald Town 1 0
Toureres Blue Town 4 0
Yamba FC Athletico Èntland 2 2

Well, Kempsey did end up winning today so that’s good news for all the United fans out there that where very disappointed by the loss last week. Again, Toureres is taking big wins out of these mid table clubs that they are playing. Yamba FC got a great tie against Èntland despite their leaky defense that would have had lots of trouble against the team on a regular day. Coffs also got a tie this week which is good for them but at this point there may be no chance for them to avoid relegation.

MD 18
Guesneald Town	Ballina RD	0	1
Kempsey United Toureres 1 0
Jersey City Salmon Head 2 0
Coffs Harbour Ballina FC 0 4

Purda AC Purple Town 0 3
Athletico Èntland Lutka Town 1 0
GCCFC Chsava 1 0
Sepopel Ridge AFC 1 0

In one of the games of the year Kempsey played Toureres that ended up going down to the 91st minute to decide the game. On a cross a Kempsey striker took the ball in the air and headed it, the player was tripped by a defender by Toureres and a penalty kick was called. On the penalty kick the striker for Kempsey sent a good shot that bounced off the post he grabbed the rebound and slammed it in the goal. Yamba FC also won against Blue Town today which surprised many as they have been struggling a bit lately. Ballina FC destroyed Coffs Harbour as Gavin Cook, who has been quiet lately had 2 goals.

MD19
Yamba FC	Coffs Harbour	2	0
Lutka Town Guesneald Town 3 1
Ballina RD Kempsey United 0 4

Ridge AFC Purda AC 2 1
Chsava Sepopel 2 1
Toureres Jersey City 3 0
Ballina FC Blue Town 3 0

It seems that Coffs can not earn any points at all. After giving up 20 goals in the first 5 games and only scoring one Coffs had already cemented themselves as the worst team in the league this year, and it’s not getting any better. With another loss today that brings their record to 1-2-16 which is 8 points behind the second worst team, Ridge AFC. Kempsey also ups their outstanding record to 17-2 which puts them as by far the best team in the league. However, it will be hard for Kempsey to keep that up as they play the much anticipated game against Lutka Town tomorrow.

MD20- Kempsey United Vs. Lutka Town
Griffin City	Yamba FC	3	0
Guesneald Town Ballina FC 2 5
Purple Town Toureres 1 2
Blue Town Athletico Èntland 1 2
Purda AC Chsava 1 0
Lighting Ridge Ridge AFC 1 0
Sepopel Salmon Head 1 1
Coffs Harbour Jersey City 1 0
GCCFC Ballina RD 1 0
Kempsey United Lutka Town 2 1

Today had all the big matches going on! However, the biggest one was Kempsey United against Lutka Town the most anticipated match of the year PSR vs. NWK. As the match started Kempsey United quickly got some chances but failed to convert on all of them. The first goal came for Kempsey as a midfielder blasted a shot over the Lutka Town team to score the first goal. Lutka did strike back very quickly though with a goal in the 44th minute off of a corner kick that set the game as a tie going into halftime. The last goal of the ame was scored by Kempsey in the 63rd minute on a free kick by the Kempsey team. It was a close game but a good one. The GCCFC game was also a large one but they pulled out a win against Ballina.

Ridge AFC 13 20 4 1 15 11 43
Coffs Harbour 8 20 2 2 16 9 48

As the Kempsey Vs. Lutka game wrapped up it see,s like that Kempsey will absolutely go on to dominate the league the rest of the cycle this year. Lutka was not very far behind them until the game when Kempsey got a 3 point jump on them that put them ahead by 9 points for the season. Coffs Harbour continues to get dominated this season, but they are starting to find their footing a bit. Both Ballina clubs are now challenging Lutka for the number 2 spot in the league as Gavin Cook continues to score many goals with Ballina FC. Èntland is also gradually getting better as they slowly climb up the table, they are only behind Lutka by 1 point and could soon try to get that second CC spot from the league.

Rumors
Will Èntland get a CC spot?
It is very well possible at this point as they are now within 1 point of Lutka and could grab the spot.

Is Kempsey out of reach?
At this point it may be safe to say yes, they are entering the part of the schedule where they had a large win streak last time and could repeat that.

Who is the better Ballina club?
Nobody knows they are now at the same point total and the only match they played was a tie.

KAAF Youth League Preview
Due to a change of plans the KAAF youth league will only be a 16 team League

Predictions
1. Fountain of Youth International
2. Ballina Red Devils Academy
3. Griffin City Academy
4. Purple Town Academy
5. Fountain of Youth Coffs Harbour
6. Kempsey United Academy
7. Lutka Town Academy (PSR)
8. GCCFC U-18
9. Èntland Academy (PSR)
10. Ballina FC Academy
11. Fountain of Youth Gold Coast
12. Chsava Academy (PSR)
13. Salmon Head
14. Ridge Juniors (NNW)
15. Toureres U-18
16. Jersey City Academy

Top Players

1. Thomas Butler, LW, Ballina Red Devils Academy, 17
His skill is unbelievable, he is the future of soccer in Northwest Kalactin. The 17 year old Thomas Butler played in the starting lineup of the Ballina Red Devils Academy since he was 13 years old he was allowed to play a year early because of his skill. He is expected to dominate the league again this year and lead the league in goals. He plays left winger and dominates in every physical part of the game.

2. William Bennett (on hold), Fountain of Youth International, Striker, 16
After playing in Banija he was declared ineligible for 1 year after the Banija youth league changed their age regulations. He scored many of the goals last year on the worst team in the league in Banija so it is still wondered if he can lead a team to victory. Nevertheless, he will play on a strong FoY team that could very well win the league this year.

3. Harold Hall, GK, Fountain of Youth Gold Coast, 18
Harold will play on a struggling FoY GC team this year that will struggle to score many goals this year. However, for FoY Hall will provide a chance for them to play well this year as he may very well be the best goalkeeper in the league this year.

Well folks, would you talk about an exciting part of the season. Kempsey continues to roll through the rest of the league with ease as they are now 8 points ahead of Lukta going into the last stretch of the season. Kempsey however, did have their fair share of struggles so far that included both of the tied games that showed that many teams could challenge them. Nevertheless, Kempsey could very well grab their third overall title as they go into the last part of the season holding a commanding lead over the rest of the league. For Ballina FC lately it has been all about the offense as they have the second goals in the league by far right now. Lutka has been polar opposites of them so far, only giving up 10 goals which is also the best on the league this year. Toureres has also been showing people their offensive capabilities right now with edging out Ballina FC right now, with 57 goals. Toureres has had a relatively leaky defense lately which has proven to be a problem when it comes to getting wins in the big games. The story for the season for Èntland right now has been trying to grab the second CC spot from Lutka as they are both gunning for a CL berth by holding the 2 best spots for the PSR. Lightning Ridge is looking to steal a CC spot from many of the NWK teams as they now place 8th, good enough to grab a spot in the CC. Coffs Harbour keeps on losing and they are almost ready to clinch a spot as the worst team in the league. They have not even scored 10 goals this season and have given up over 60 which is the worst in the league.

Rumors
Is Lutka really the best team from the PSR?
Èntland has challenged that theory as they are now within striking distance of Lutka in terms of points. Èntland has also shown superb play lately that Lutka has not shown as much of.

Where has Gavin Cook gone?
At the start of the season he was a superstar that was loved by many fans of the KAAF. Lately, he has struggled to score at the rate he did at the start of the season and he has also been racking up a few minor leg injuries that could be fatal to his career.

What does Toureres need to take it to the “next level”
At this point all they need is to pull some wins against some of the larger teams in the league. They have shown strong play in many parts of the game and we think it is only a matter of time for them.

Even though they have a 6 point lead in the table. Kempsey is in danger of losing their lead of first place. Ballina FC has the power of Gavin Cook powering them to try to catch up with Kempsey. Lutka is now in third place and Èntland keeps trying to jump into the spot of the best Pripitanian team, but they keep losing out against Lutka by a few points. Ballina FC has by far the best offense now and they could possibly grab a few games because of that. Kempsey lost to Lightning Ridge which is concerning to say the least. Toureres is also having a fall off which could even mean that they will lose out to Lightning Ridge for the CC spot. The win against Lutka did show that Toureres can definitely beat teams at the top of the table, but they drop some games against the mid-table teams that could leave them out of some of the top teams this year. On the other end of the table, Coffs Harbour is finally picking up a few points, while Ridge AFC is struggling to win army games right now. They now have a worse goal differential than Coffs. Yamba, Ridge and Coffs are most likely to be the three teams that will be relegated but if Yamba is able to catch up to Salmon Head in the final games of the year they could avoid he drop.

Rumors
Can Yamba avoid the drop?
We think if they grab some points at the end of the season they could beat Sakmon head out and avoid the drop. Their leaky defense will cause some problems at the end of the year but if they solve some problems they could avoid it.

Will Ballina catch up to Kempsey United?
It is possible, but unlikely. Kempsey has a great squad that can definitely go out and win all of their games the rest of the year.

Well boys, the KAAF is getting wild. As we look at it new we thought that Kempsey United had a lead, but a last minute storm back by Ballina FC as put their lead in jeopardy. Kempsey is now in danger of losing their lead, Ballina FC is now within 2 points of beating out Kempsey to win the league title with 2 games left. Of course Kempsey is the Evil Empire, the greatest team ever, the GOATS of the KAAF. But this year could their lead be taken away? Ballina has by far the best offense in the league, and lately it has been showing on the scoreboard. When you look at it, Kempsey has definitely lost the edge lately, they lost of their games in the last 7 and there was also some very poor ones against Purple Town. Lutka has also taken the champions league spot for the Pripet Socialist Republic for the second time. If Lightning Ridge wins their game they will take a challengers cup spot, which will be a first for the North New South Wales Football Association. Coffs Harbour started to pull it together at the end of the season, however the losses in the first part of the season was just too much for them to mount a good comeback at the end of the season. Ridge AFC has fallen apart at the very end of the season, barely grabbing any points. All three teams that are moving down this year have clinched their spots in the KAAF 2 for next season. Overall, it has been a hell of a season so far, when you look at it, it was one of the greatest seasons ever. We hope to reflect that in the IFCF this season. Thank you for joining us this season and watch the finals!

This year was a very interesting year in the KAAF division 2. Èntland AFC came out and surprised everyone as they won the league over the clear favorites Murwelldobah. Falcon a City will also be gaining promotion from the KAAF 2 up to the premiership. On the other side of the table Brenleigh showed everyone that they could get their asses whooped professionally by the rest of the teams in the league this year.

Well, not a ton of surprises here. Fountain of Youth International rolled across the landscape of the league at a fast pace. The cherry on top of their championship that season was a win over both of the other FoY teams which cemented their power. Purple Town and Lutka both surprised everyone this year by putting up much better performances than expected. Thomas Butler helped Ballina move up to a third place spot behind his star power at wing this year. Toureres also performed much better than expected as they managed to finish at the mid table instead of possible being relegated to the second division. Chsava on the other hand disappointed everyone as they finished with the worst record in the league.

Not many transfers came out of Northwest Kalactin this window, however there were a few big names that came out of the nation this year. Thomas Butler, the Star Right Winger who will soon have his first international cap, moved to AC Izotz Zubia, the second Kalactanian NT player to move to Zozi. Mark Romero, the National Team keeper will be playing in The Sarian next year, and Toureres takes a large hit having to move him out of the nation this year. Butler is expected to soon have an impact for the NT and Zozi, and he soon may start for the team Kalactanian Sources report. Romero, the 23 year old keeper is likely to start for the best side in The Sarian, CF Bondstad.

On the other hand, a large number of transfers came in internationally to Northwest Kalactin, which includes many players that may retire soon, or are younger players looking to develop theirselves. The first 2 transfers into the nation are from Audioslavia, which seems to be one of the largest nations to do business with the Kalactanians. Luca Zanardi will look to keep his career going for a few more years under the sun with Griffin City, while the Semar Defensive Midfielder, Bennik Hreidarsson, will look to come in and start making an impact at Kempsey for a few years. Both players are older ones with experience at some of the top-end leagues in the world, and many younger Kalactanian players will look to use their experience to help their own play get better. Another group of players that seem to be coming in a lot to Kalactin are Midfielders from the SRS, with 2 of them joining up at Kempsey United, and another one making a last minute move to Ballina FC as the window slammed shut. Both Pahlke and Yarrow, 2 players that went to Kempsey, are younger players that are in the middle of their prime, and can look to help Kempsey to another NKSL Championship this season, as they gun for their third in a row. Detkov however, is an older player that may not have as much gas left in the tank as his SRS counterparts, but will still try to make an impact at one of the best clubs in the NKSL this season. Gold Coast Capital was able to grab a good number of players this window, their highlight signing however was the Audioslavian Midfielder, Emanuel Nissen. Nissan will become a player that will start for the team and become one of the top players from the team this season. Jim Hallet, on the other hand will definitely become a rotation striker, possibly moving into a starting position for a bit when Luke Dillan retires after this season. Nicolas Lebaume may have been one of the best all around players to sign in Kalactin this season, and will be strengthening an already strong Toureres defense, who will need the help after losing Mark Romero to CF Bondstad. Okyanus Batur is a young, but blossoming player that could very well develop into one of the star players for this again Ballina Red Devils team. He may be a saving grace for the teams midfield, a spot that they have needed to develop much since the loss Edward Foster, 2 years back. Ilinx-Ibilx Tla was a surprise signing from the folding Qusmo league, Pug Xilya. He was sent to Purple Town, and will likely become a rotation striker and see out the end of his career in Northwest Kalactin. Stephen Cumming is an aging defensive midfielder from Audioslavia, although he has played much of his career in the Euraleague. He could very well become a starter at Griffin City for the next couple years, and then become a rotation player before he retires.

Many lower end clubs of the NKSL filled their ranks through free transfers this window, let’s take a quick peek at them. FoY International signed 2 players, 1 from Springmont and 1 from Ko-oren. Fisher Hilton may be the best player out of this pack, as he is a Brenecian player in the middle of his prime that signed with a struggling Harbour City team. The newly promoted Murwelldobah FC will look to use Joseph Faragó as a rotation defender this year. Many other free transfers were signed this cycle, most of them will likely become substitutes or rotation players, depending on their play at initial camps. Almost all of them are younger and older players, and only one of them is in his so called “prime” right now.

Project Choudal 7 7 2 1 4 5 9
Nakasi United 4 7 1 1 5 5 11
Nakasi Farms 3 7 1 0 6 2 17

As we see here, Sigatoka and Vatukoula take an early control on the league, with Savusavu AFC following not very far behind. These 3 teams are by far the best teams in the league so far as they all have double the points as the next closest competitors do. Jerry Cook has been one of the highlights of the league so far, putting up 5 goals and 3 assists, which leads the league right now. Savu AFC manager Gary Torres stated “This Vatukoula are really good competitors for first, with players like Jerry Cook out there leading the team to victory, there is nothing that this team can’t do.” Both Nakasi teams have been playing like crap so far, putting up the 2 worst records in the league right now. Nakask Farms is still a favorite to be relegated, but Nakasi United is not very far ahead of them in terms of points.

Team Points	Played	Won	Draw	Lost	GF	GC
Vatukoula United 35 14 11 2 1 29 11

Project Choudal 10 14 3 1 10 8 24
Nakasi Farms 6 14 2 0 12 4 31

Welp folks! There you have it. Vatukoula was a good enough team in the end to come out on top of the Choudal Premiership. They would go on to beat Savu AFC and Sigatoka FC, who were both close competitors behind them during the season, to go on and win the title at the end of the season. Nakasi United pulled it together at the end of the season and was able to finish in 6th place, but this was still seen as an underachievement by many of the club’s loyal supporters. We talked with 1 Nakasi fan after the 14th Matchday, he was quoted saying this “We played like bullcrap this season, we could've been so much better, the ownership better turn this team around soon. We thank you all for following the Choudal Premiership this season and we hope you return for next season!

NKSL Preview Part 1
Well, we are back here again, and instead of the KAAF, it looks like we have just the NKSL this year, under some wonky format of some type. Some weird shit is going to happen this year, and we will be right here with you to experience every part of it.

1. Kempsey United
Starting XI
GK: Brian Hall
D: Stephan Parker-Aldir Pahlke (SRS)-Kelly Stevens-Bennik Hreidarsson (SEM)
M: Dan Guidry-Courtney Stewart-Ed Smith-Pylna Yarrow (SRS)
ST: Luke Dillan-Irving Murphy

History: The most successful team ever, a Kempsey United has literally been the centerpiece of pretty much every season of the NKSL so far. Having a top 2 finish in everyone of them, and winning all of them except for one. Luke Dillan has been a longtime player there, and is part of a long and storied history that is Kempsey United.
Manager: Michael Stewart
Rivalries: GCCFC (Performance)
Outlook: Kempsey looks to complete a three-peat this season, coming in expected to possibly be the best team out there. It will be very hard to have another season like last year, but Kempsey will certainly be a team that is capable of doing it. They brought in many good transfers from SRS and Semarland, who look to bring a boost to the teams Defense and Midfield this season. 1st

2. Ballina Red Devils
Starting XI
GK: Jimmy James
D: Wayne Collins-Juan Campbell-Brian Wood-Carlos Carter
M: Lamar Snyder-Mark Martinez-Jason Bailey-Okyanus Batur (TMR)
ST: Bruce Johnson-George Taylor-Juan Campbell

History: One of the long standing powerhouses of the league, Ballina Red Devils have always been the dark horse to challenge for the title. They are huge rivals with Ballina FC, their crosstown rivals that always put on a spicy show for the fans when they play.
Manager: Willie Flores
Rivals: Ballina FC (Location), Toureres (Location)
Outlook: Like always, Ballina RD will be a team that is looking to put up a good enough performance to finish as one fo the top teams. Okyanus Batur, will look to help them challenge Kempsey for a title run this year, the new midfielder from Timuria. Lots of the same guys from last year, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, 2nd.

3. Toureres
Starting XI
GK: Tom Williamson
D: Guillermo Morrison, Willis Mccormick, Nicolas Lebaume (KSK)
DM: Ninian Lechleiter (NPH)
M: Steve Gilbert, Simon Griffith, Mike Gordon, Shannon Schmidt
ST: Frankie Summers, Cody Dixon

History: They where once a team that struggled year after year to even stay at a mid table position in the league, but then a great season 2 years ago changed that, and now they have 2 straight IFCF appearances. Mark Romero was a rising star at the club, and the recent transfer to CF Bondstad shocked many of the teams loyal fans.
Manager: Todd Evans
Rivalries: Ballina RD (Location), Ballina FC (Location)
Outlook: Much the same as last year, as much as the Mark Romero transfer wasn’t a large loss to the team, they reinforce the defense with Nico Lebaume and Ninian Lechleiter, 2 international players that can provide Tom Williamson with great support while he is in goal. The Offense will still be a spot they need to improve, but if Frankie Summers is score a lot this season, there is nowhere they can’t go. 3rd

4. Ballina FC
Starting XI
GK: Mikey Johnson
D: Travis McCoy, Alan Frazier, Arturo Maldonado, Andrew Fields, Phillip Russell
M: Wilfred Kelley, Jackie Smith, Bradford Holt, Vaarin Detkov (SRS)
ST: Joe Russell

History: Here we are with the other end of the Ballina duo. Despite being, one of the most successful clubs to ever hail from the nation, Ballina FC is short on silverware. They always seem to be the bridesmaid to a club like Kempsey United, Gold Coast Capital, or, their own rival, Ballina Red Devils. They are however, one of the most consistent teams in the league, earning UICA placement every year of their storied history.
Manager: Edward Hernandez
Rivals: Ballina RD (Location), Toureres (Location), Purple Town (Competitive)
Outlook: Unfortunately, this club will likely see some drop off from last year, and their second place finish that came with it. Many of their players are starting to age, and they will see stuff start to go wrong in the locker room if they don’t get some new blood in there soon. Detkov is another player who will continue to age, and one day, become irrelevant. 4th

NKSL Preview, Part 2
GCCFC
Starting XI
GK:Neil Scott
D: Martin Brown, Fred Martin, Harry Ramirez, Keith Price
M: Richard Wright, Steven Adams, Carl Collins, Emanuel Nissen (AUD)
ST: Lawrence Brooks, Jim Hallet (XAN)

Manager: Joseph Dawson
History: One of the most successful clubs in the league, GCCFC had very humble beginnings, barely avoiding relegation in their first years in the league. That all changed when they finished 1st in the NKSL, and gained much international recognition due to their UICA performances. One of the richest clubs in the league, they always look to spend more, and win more than everyone else.
Rivalries: Kempsey United (Performance, Murwelldobah FC (Location), Griffin City (Location)
Outlook: They spent quite a bit of money during the window, however with new ownership and new management, it will be hard to tell where these guys go. They have a young roster, so they can’t be expected to go out and win the league this year. If they are able to spend the money well, and most importantly, play well, these guys could be shoe-in for a IFCF berth. 5th

Griffin City
Starting XI:
GK: Luca Zanardi (AUD)
D: Anthony Gray, Samuel Perry, Kevin Garcia, Stephen Cumming (AUD)
M: Roger Cox, Alan Reed, Jason Stewart
AM: Billy Johnson, George Brooks
ST: Dennis Ross

History: Griffin City have been a mainstay if the mid-table for many years now, but are very consistent. They always tend to finish in a spot that isn’t to high, or not to low. They are one of the 4 teams to have never been relegated, an accomplishment that is very hard to do. But, despite this they only have 1 IFCF berth in their history, last year.
Manager: Michael Kendricks
Rivalries: GCCFC (Location)
Outlook: We can almost promise you that these guys will finish in a mid table spot this year. The loss of Mark Romero over the offseason will certainly hurt them, but they found a not too shabby replacement in the Audioslavian Luka Zanardi. The defense also picks up some good perks in Stephen Cumming from Eura over the offseason, so not too bad. 6th

Purple Town
Starting XI
GK: Earl Wilson
D: Martin Brown, Eric Robinson, Jimmy Russell, Henry Moore
M: Jack Butler, Jesse Bennett, Ilinx-Ibilx Tla (QUS)
ST: Phillip James, Benjamin Ramirez, Roy Adams

History: Back many years ago, Purple Town was literal bullshit. They couldn’t even win enough games to stay in the third division of the Kalactanian system. Then, they started to become better and better, they finally made it to the first division, but was one of the worst teams. After many years of struggling, Purple Town has finally become one of the more respectable teams of the NKSL.
Manager: Paul Campbell
Rivalries: Toureres (Location)
Outlook: You knew that they would be somewhere here around the mid table, they are becoming one of the more consistent teams in the league, but a couple bad performances could easily send them into a downhill run. The importation of the Qusmi midfielder will certainly help them build a team that might get a IFCF berth. 7th

Salmon Head
Starting XI
GK: Nifea Sitrembel (HIN)
D: Benjamin Thompson, Fred Williams, James Jackson, Ralph Brown, Edward Nelson
M: Eugene Campbell, Sean Simmons, Roy Rivera, Harry Cook
ST: Eric Clark

History: One of the newer teams in the league, Salmon Head has quickly arisen to the occasion of being the strongest team from the Coffs Harbour Area. They are known for always playing on the defensive side harder than anywhere else, and not giving up many goals. They have been owned from the same ownership group since their start, and have a large and loyal fan base.
Manager: Leland Cramortie (TKT)
Rivalries: No
Outlook: We won’t see a ton of change from last year, except for maybe some better goalkeeping and new tactics with the dawn of the new manager. They are a team who will definitely look to have a breakout season and become more relevant in the league and Leland Cramortie will try to help them reach that stage. The new goalkeeping will be fun to watch, as they have a relatively unknown Nifea Sitrembel from Kita Hinode. 8th

NKSL Preview, Part 3
Blue Town
Starting XI
GK: Raymond Rhodes
D: Amos Wallace, Troy Cohen, Chester Daniels
M: Tony Phelps, Rick Reynolds, Santos Holloway, Kenneth Lindsey
ST: Jesus Weber, Nicolas Harrington, Lorenzo Bowman

History: Always being a small town-small money club, Blue Town was mostly a mainstay of the NKSL 2 up until they became relevant 2 years ago. They have never been able to sign the best players, so they have always relied on the youth academy to produce players for them. Ironically, they have a rivalry with the similarly named Purple a Town, which has lasted for many years.
Manager: Eugene Stewart
Rivalries: Purple Town (Location)
Outlook: They weren’t a high quality team last year, and they didn’t seem to bring in any new blood. They are an aging team that has a large problem of not being able to play defense very well. New manager Eugene Stewart will look to turn the quality of the team around, but no promises can be made when it comes to a club like Blue Town. 9th

Yamba FC
Starting XI
GK: Charles Reed
D: Steven James, Michael Mitchell, Harry Allen, Clarence Thomas
M: Jack Washington, William Foster
CAM: Chris Anderson
ST: Eugene Green, Kenneth Barnes, Carl Wright

History: Yamba has always been a team that struggled to stay in the top pack of teams. They have never ver been a team in contention for IFCF or UICA play, and have always had a horrendous defense. Their Starting 11 never has any big names on it, and you never really can expect them to do anything.
Manager: Joseph Fernandez
Rivalries: They aren’t good enough for that.
Outlook: We are probably looking at the same situation as many many years before, they just don’t have a good enough defense to succeed on the top level of play in domestic football. This year will be no different as they will likely give up some of the most goals in the league. 10th

Glen Innes
GK: Gregory Phillips
D: Eric Garcia, Joe Harris, Martin Roberts, Henry Gonzales, Joseph Faragó (FFD)
M: Scott Murphy, Sean Walker, Aaron Griffin, Perico Santos (TEQ)
ST: Steve Rivera

History: One of the newest teams in the league will be looking to get off to a good start, as they just recently gained promotion from the second division this year. They have a good number of free transfers to use and try to make a jump to become a mid table club in the league. They are from Glen Innes, which is the smallest city represented in the league this year.
Manager: Tyree Walker
Rivalries: Murwelldobah FC (performance)
Outlook: It will never be easy for a new team to gain good footing in a league like this, where there is such a clear divide between the top and bottom teams, but they may be a team with a chance, lots of good international talent and a young squad. 11th

Harbor City
Starting XI
GK: Roger Flores
D: Donald Davis, Bruce Diaz, Brandon Lewis
M: Benjamin Edwards, Russell Carter, Todd King, Keith Campbell
ST: Fisher Hilton (BRE), Adam Moore, Craig Young

History: Antoher new team to the league, Harbor City has been hovering around the second division for many years now, on the edge of promotion. Roger Flores has been there for 15 years and most players see him as a sort of player-coach, with much wisdom and smarts.
Coach Wil Powell
Rivalries: None
Outlook: This is a very rough looking team, not really standing out in any area of play, and not being able to convert on offense well. Look for them to get relegated, as this team does not have the skill to stay up with the top clubs. 12th

Player of the Week: Anthony Gray, Griffin City

Weekly Write Up
The first week of the NKSL was a very exciting one, with games all over exciting the fans of Northwest Kalactin. Many fans caught their first dose of international players, like Fisher Hilton of Brenecia and Qusmos Ilinx-Ibilx Tla. The Toureres and Ballina FC game was probably the most anticipated game of the week, with Ballina FC winning on a Alfred Kelly goal on the 59th minute. The Harbor City and Yamba FC game came down to the last minute, with the Brenecian striker Fisher Hilton helping them pull through on a last minute goal. Kempsey United, who came into the season as early favorites, where unable to pull away and win their first game, with neither side in the Kempsey-Griffin game giving an inch on defense. Roy Rivera and Bruce Johnson each scored 2 goals a price, being the first players to achieve that so far this season. You can argue that Carl Collins had the goal of the week, scoring from the very corner with a header that would put Gold Coast Capital ahead by 2, GCC would hold their lead to the end of the game.
