The Intergalactic empire of the Horde is fragmenting, Horde Prime is dead, and without a guiding voice the various sub and sector commanders are carving out their own enclaves and mini-empires in an attempt to keep their civilization together. The forces of Rebellion on Etheria have put out the call: Now is the time to rise!

Yet that is not your war to fight, for the events of this tale do not take place on the recently liberated world of Etheria. This is Eternia, ancient home world of the First Ones, long since thrown back to the feudal age by the machinations of the late prime and now ruled over by the Lich King, Mumm-ra!
You are young souls, different in origin, but united in purpose to fight the tyrant lich and to free the world of Eternia!”

Moving in to OOC things here, this is a little pet project of mine and Aserais, this takes the recently established setting of "She-ra and the Princesses of Protection", and adds elements of He-man, the Thundercats, and various home brew elements written in to existence by me and Aserais. I understand this setting is rather...sparkly compared to most I take part in, but this universe holds a special place in my heart and I wanted to write my own continuation of the series with other elements added in.


In any rate, you the players shall take the place of various low ranking members of the Eternian resistance, recently recruited and barely equipped for your first mission, you have been sent to a recently discovered ruin in the hopes of finding...anything really, anything that might help aid the resistance in it's fight against the Lich king and his hoards of the risen dead.

Your path will be paved with dangers, from the Dark Paladins of Mumm-ra's army, driven mad from power and corruption, to the Huntsmen's Raiders and their strange, alien technology held deep in Deadman's Bog. Be Forewarned, while I, your fabulous friendly time-space anomaly and OP am not out for blood, your characters can die as a result of your actions, so think well and tread the path lightly.


The Rules of this tale are simple, yet my application of them shall be firm, so read well.

1. I am the story tell here, my word holds the weight of Gods.
2. Aserais is my partner in telling this tale, his word has my backing.
3. OOC stays in OOC, and IC stays in IC, do not take issues between characters ICly and try to argue over them here in the OOC.
4. NS's laws of operations and end user service agreement are in place, fallow their laws as much as you fallow mine.
5. No politics, really. I understand the subject matter at hand is rather ripe for such debate, but that's not the point of this RP and moderating it drains my already fragile hold on this reality even more so.
6. You get a warning, a warning, not multiple, before ejection from this RP.

Battle Cat: Adam's faithful companion, his saber-tooth battle cat Cringer. Cringer is rather cowardly, and will only fight as a last resort--he is much more likely to run away than to pounce on a foe.

Role among the Resistance: Adam is the key to something important, though he knows not what. He leads the resistance band through foggy memories and visions as they seek to uncover the Sword of Power, in an effort to use it against Mumm-Ra.

Biography:

Prince Adam of Eternia was the last warrior to bear the name He-Man, the protector of Eternia and the First One's mightiest weapon since the loss of the Heart of Etheria project at the hands of the rebel traitor, Mara, the last She-Ra. He-Man was the Eternian's answer, concentrating all of the magical might of the planet into a single warrior in an effort to create a being who could hold off Horde Prime's ever-growing empire. And, for a time, He-Man was a symbol of warrior might among the Eternians--but one warrior, no matter how mighty, cannot win an intergalactic war. Many He-Man fought the good fight before Adam, but at last, he could fight no longer, and Adam hid the sword as Horde Prime's ships bombed Eternia into rubble. He sent out a message, warning all Eternian remnants away, and sealed himself and the Sword of Power away, so that Horde Prime and the evil litch Mumm-Ra could never find it and use it for their own nefarious ends.

This, however, was many hundreds of years ago.

Adam, as he is known to the resistance, was found in a stasis pod, deep in a First One's ruin under the surface of Eternia, along with his Battle Cat, Cringer. Those among them with some passing knowledge of First One's writing read his name on the display, but that is the only piece of his life known to him at the moment, as he has lost his memory entirely--though not his personality. He is still a fighter, someone who cannot bear to see injustice or corruption, and when he learned the plight of the resistance, he swore to fight in their name and free them from the oppressive yolk of Mumm-Ra the Ever Living and his henchman, Skeletor.

He still gets flashes of his previous life, most commonly in First Ones ruins, and he knows that he is somehow connected to the Sword of Power. If he can find it, it could be the rebellion's best chance of driving Mumm-Ra away from Eternia and freeing the people once and for all.
