Listen, the asexual person may be the last person you expect to give relationship advice, but hey, I'm the wingman in my little clique of friends for some reason.
Casually compliment them. "Oh, I love your outfit today!" or "Did you do something with your hair? It looks good!"
Drop a few hints. Touch your face and your hair when talking to them, or tease them a little bit, but not enough to get on their nerves.
It can be as simple as saying goodbye when you're leaving an event to them.
USE. BODY. LANGUAGE. Make eye contact, or lean in (primarily with your ears) when they talk to you. Not too close, though. Find subtle, non-creepy ways to touch them (Hug them hello/goodbye, letting your hand rest on their arm or shoulder for a little longer than usual. If they're not the hugging type, then don't be afraid to just tap their shoulder).
Text them about as often as they text you. Don't bombard them with DMs or comments.
excellent suggestions if it was an in-person friendship ;-;
