It's non-partisan. There are viewpoints from all religious groups on there, including evangelical Christians, progressive Christians, general Christians, and Catholics.

It has critical views, too. But it can only be seen as anti-Christian if "anti-Christian" means hosting opposing views, as well as promoting views.

If it has all of those perspectives, it's probably not anti-Christian and I had false information about it. Which seems to be a very common thing now.

I'll just look at it now and see what I find.

Perhaps they want you to become more involved because you seem to be drifting away from the Church?

As for hiding not being courageous -- wartime spies were pretty damn brave. And they had to hide everything about themselves.

I know you want to distance yourself from the people in your Church, but you can separate yourself in your head even if you're still physically present.

I would make a terrible spy.

I would have to try to stay separate from what they're teaching if I want to really learn about anything else, but I don't know that I could do that. If I'm physically present in my church, I always want to believe everything that is taught. It seems to be natural for me.

It's not surprising, mind, that you want to believe what your church is teaching; Religion seems exceptionally important to you, between what you post here and our conversations through TG. Which isn't to say it's a bad thing, it's impressive that one can hold such faith, but it's also equally impressive that you wish to expand your knowledge into areas that some may consider forbidden or against your religion. Also, that one can do so without essentially doing the ostrich thing and digging your head into the sand and ignoring other opinions/views, which is all too often the response in certain circles.

Also, the "Christian spy" thing gave me a good laugh, for first thing in the morning!

Instead, I had steak bits with potatoes and courgettes with a glass of red wine. The natural juice of the steak bits blended well with the vegetables and the potatoes. =)

It was delicious!

I didn't even know that gold hunting was still a thing in Finnish Lapland till I saw news that even small scale gold mining with mechanical help is going to be disallowed at national park due to environmental influence.
(Non-mechanical is still allowed I guess.)
