I think euthanasia should be legal if a person is in a considerable physical, mental or depressed state. If I were to need or choose such an option put me to sleep like a dog or cat. Make it as quick and painless as possible. I had too do it for my two beloved German Sheppard Dogs.

Medical care should focus not only on curing disease and illness but also on quality of life.

If a person's quality of life deteriorates beyond what medical care can help and to a point that the person in-question wishes to discontinue living, then that's their prerogative.

I'm of the opinion that if I ever become so mentally handicapped I cannot independently take care of myself for reasonable amounts of time, whether I can consent to it or not I want someone to kill me. If I have a stroke and can barely speak and have severe brain damage, dear god Kronk pull the f*cking trigger. Don't make me suffer.

I've always been of the opinion voluntary euthanasia should be legal. I have no idea why it isn't.
