It wasn’t in protest though, it was because their union has stopped paying for cops who police these protests to have legal representation.

Which either shows the union for Buffalo to be really good, or for the number of cases of brutality at protests in Buffalo to be really bad.

Singapore seems to be making a good go of things though.

I support universal healthcare, affordable housing, affirmative action... I am not a conservative, but I'm not liberal either. I support the rule of law, an integrated society, a nation that provides for the most vulnerable... I do not give special treatment to anyone regardless of their intentions. You gather in masses during a pandemic, you're putting yourself, your community, and your country at risk. The virus does not care about your sentiments. Go home and stay there, save lives.

I really want to agree with this. I really really want to.

Because yes over all the health and safety of all of America and the world should be up first. Stoping COVID-19 should be the first thing on our minds.


But this is an issue that has been boiling too long in America. The cop brutality against black people needs to end. It can't be put off any longer.
I say if the protesters have masks and are practicing social distancing while also protesting peacefully, those are the protests America needs. Riots and looting need to stop. Any protester that doesn't have a mask and not practicing social distancing really really need to. But if there not, its hard for me to say stop to them. Cop brutality needs to end here and now. Because if not now then when? How many more people need to die before we get cop reform?
