Seriously dude? You do realize that how fucking insensitive that sounds to a lot of us vets, especially the combat vets?

There's a WWII memorial in Sydney Australia, and on a party weekend some kid spraypainted it with anti-war slogans. The outrage was so prolonged and widespread the kid actually confessed and offered to clean it up. I think it had already been cleaned by then, a judge found him some other community service. But it was interesting, he didn't seem to know how offensive what he did was until there was a huge public fuss.

At protests it is usually fairly easy for participants to spot who is going to just be there to make trouble for trouble's sake, and remove them accordingly.

Yeah, I've seen clips of protesters stopping and calling out others that are aimlessly vandalising and looting stores unrelated to any police stuffs. This can easily weed out any people that are only there for the "free stuff" and the trouble.
