NS calender

Postby Al Barakesh » Wed Aug 05, 2009 8:06 am

I have noticed over the time that I have been here that NS Role Players have a hard time working thigs out with dates. Recently I was in a roleplay and One person had had his capital nuked just a two weeks before but he siad 20 years had passed in his nation so he could rebuild it. But the guy who did the nuking said only a year had passed in his nation. Thats why I think they should introduce an NS calender strarting from the Year 1000, Giving players time to have had a backstory about their nations. So does NSG think this is a good idea.

There is no offically agreed upon time system for NS. Roleplayers have to individually figure that out for themselves.

Two popular time systems are Standard, Dharmanic Time and Spaamanian Time Time.

Both start from Nov. 12 2002 as the Creation Date (Year Zero).

In DMT, 1 day is 1 NS year
In SPT, 12 days is 1 NS year

Here's an article on it > http://www.nswiki.net/index.php?title=Game_time

Hope that helps
