Quite a few influences, primarily an amalgation of vaguely european and african cultures, under an increasingly stagnating and dogmatic syndicalist system (or rather, trade union rule with a fairly stagnant, if recallable, trade union leadership), mixed with general influences of '30s worker's culture, imagery from the Great Depression, dieselpunk as well as the French, German and Russian Revolutions.

The main source of inspiration is a fairly obscure non-English sci-fi trilogy yet to be published in English. What I did was that I took the main character out there, put her into the 18th century with some redecoration and helped her to found the alternate US. Now I'm trying to predict how that would affect the timeline. This nation can be defined as knowledge-based post-Christian (exact meaning may vary) nation.
It's worth mentioning that the intgaming was mainly taken from the real life and incorporated into the lore, because I believe it fits the theme. You may ask any additional questions via TG or my very own Q&A thread featured in the sig down below.

The universe in which this nation exists is very loosely based on Kaiserreich, but at this point I've diverged from it quite a bit. The nation itself is mostly just a thought experiment, but is definitely influenced by some of my actual beliefs.

Kypchakia is culturally Kyrgyz, with heavy inspiration from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. Unlike most of the Central Asian countries in real life, however, Kypchakia is a- albeit flawed- democracy with a conservative Islamic government in power.

My nation is based on an improved copy of the Vatican City, with a better GDP and economy, a larger population and where the king is the pope but at the same time does not perform religious functions in the country, the currency comes from the old currency, the solid Byzantine, the animal of italy and the capital of rome
