People probably shouldn't go to that website anymore, or at least not until big changes are implemented or when there is some more regulation. The world's largest and most popular website of its category is rumored to have been caught hosting illegal content on a wide scale and isn't taking it down in any timely fashion.

Pornhub has no strong age verification systems in place for uploading videos and indeed- it appears they're exceedingly wicked. It may just be the case that it'll be shut down later this year or smited just as much as Sodom and Gomorrah was. Escape thither and look not behind. The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade is more of an early modern than a medieval thing. You know, those "effete moderns" you were complaining about. Mind you, slavery still happened in the medieval period but it was largely tied to Christian polities adjacent to Muslim or Pagan polities and involved the enslavement of nonbelievers.

My apologies. My intention was to warn people away from that website. I only just recently became aware of how problematic their practices really are. It may be the largest online in its category, but its still no good if they have illegal stuff and aren't on top of it in terms of policing themselves. It is bad for end users and everyone involved. If it is dangerous, I can only conclude that people are better off forgetting that website exists and boycott them until they're fully above board in terms of ethics.

I didn't want to risk threadjacking, but I also don't want to devote an entire new topic to it here, just incase I'm jumping the shark to any extent. I feel I'm not the best person to do it, as of now. But the regulation of porn overall, is still tangentially on topic in my view. If Mindgeek is so large and moneyed as to not be brought down by such scandals, they should pay out a large settlement with any needed changes being implemented gradually if not overnight.

One of their affiliated channels' co-owners is apparently a wanted international fugitive now. Their entire business model was to trick women who applied for modeling jobs into doing adult videos that'd later be uploaded online against their wishes. They were lied to and exploited. This stuff alarms me. If it was one channel, could it be more of them that aren't fully legitimate that people commonly come across thinking its legal and been fully vetted?
