NKGFL halfway Point check
Grafton 5	1	0	129	70
Brenleigh 5 0 1 120 92
Okaye 4 1 1 118 95
Varsity Lakes 4 0 2 109 83
Casino 3 1 2 116 97
Murwelldobah 3 0 3 107 88
Darwin 3 0 3 116 105
Gold coast 3 0 3 78 94
Eumbrai 2 1 3 104 111
Kempsey 2 0 4 104 103
Coffs 2 0 4 93 107
Narrabri 2 0 4 83 139
Purple Town 1 0 5 93 119
Armidale 1 0 5 87 154

Grafton has given everyone a huge suprise by finishing the first half of the season in first place other strong teams look to be Brenleigh, Okaye, and Varsity Lakes. Meanwhile Purple Town and Armidale round out the bottom. Casino is trying to crack the top three although with one of their top edge rushers out with an injury it will be hard to do so. Gold Coast who came into the season as a favorite to win the league has put on a mediocre year so finishing at 3-3 at the halfway point they look to improve. Free agency will be in full Force next as the first rookies will be entering the international signing stage next season.

NKGFL pre postseason check.
Brenleigh 9	0	4	231	212
Okaye 8 2 3 280 232
Murwelldobah 8 0 5 254 195
Darwin 8 0 5 242 206
Armidale 8 0 5 264 257
Grafton 7 1 5 219 194
Casino 7 1 5 242 218
Gold coast 7 0 6 227 199
Varsity Lakes 7 0 6 218 196
Purple Town 6 0 7 221 226
Coffs 4 0 9 223 268
Kempsey 3 1 9 233 223
Eumbrai 3 1 9 189 287
Narrabri 3 0 10 187 317

Graftons late season fall apart really did show the incomtempness of their defense as they gave up 124 points in 7 games and finished 2-5 and they lost out on a spot in the semifinals meanwhile Darwin And Murwelldobah both had late season surges to allow them a spot in the playoffs. Okaye looks to be a favorite with their high powered offense that allowed them to be in the playoffs this year although their lack of discipline on defense is concerning. Varsity Lakes also did not finish well as they barley finished the season with a winning record. Good luck to all playoff teams this year.

Kempsey United had a season that everyone expected them to have. After loading their roster up with young Kalactanians during the off-season and recording the best goal difference in the league this is what national team striker Luke Dillan had to say. “It feels great considering that we will be able to participate in the newly structured ICFC champions league it feels great”. Dillan ended up winning the league MVP with 13 goals in 22 games other notable players in this season were Ballina FC midfielder Hue Grebv who is expected to return for his final World Cup cycle next year. Grebv now 34 it infamous for receiving a punch from a filindostani player during the 66th Baptism of Fire. Blue Town and Coffs will be right where they were last year back in the second level of play the NKSL 2. Coffs FC who play in the second biggest city in Northwest Kalactin tied their in town rivals to clinch a spot in the relegation chamber.

1. Murwelldobah
2. Coffs
3. Yamba
4. Gold Coast
5. Ballina
6. Kempsey
7. Purple Town
8. Lismore
This year looks to be a good one in the Kalactanian Basketball league as the league looks to return to International Domestic Basketball Competitions as Murwelldobah looks to have the strongest team this year. Coffs and Yamba look to be power teams as Coffs has the best Center in the league Michael Hughes who is 27 looks the continue his reign of terror across the league. Meanwhile, Murwelldobah who is expected to finish in first has guards Rickey Garza and Josh Abbott who look to win off of 3 pointers. Down at the mid table Ballina looks to surprise some people with small forward Charlie Lawson who at 24 is considered one of the most prolific scorers of his generation. Gold Coast meanwhile, who don’t have a ton of standout players have the #2 rated defense in the league coming into this season. Lismore is rated at dead last as they look to be pretty horrible this season.

Offense Team Ratings:

Kalactanian Rugby League And Union Seasons Preview

Rugby Union Predictions
1. Gold Coast Storm
2. Harbour City RC
3. Toureres Gunners
4. Gold Coast RC
5. Coffs Harbour Hawks
6. Armidale Kings
7. Grafton Lions
8. Kempsey Cowboys
9. Scranton Island Islanders
10. North Kempsey Pumas

This year in the Kalactanian Premiership we are looking at a very good chance of a repeat of last season where Gold Coast And Harbour City we’re power teams. However the Kempsey Cowboys, once considered one of the strongest teams in the premiership is looking at their first bad season in a while with star Carlos Mitchell leaving to go play at Toureres who is looking at a new and improved team after the offseason.

Rugby League Predictions
1. Malor County
2. Ballina
3. Yamba
4. Lismore
5. Purple Town
6. Bingara
7. Kyater
8. North Coffs

The new Rugby League Championship looks to rival rugby unions main league as they make their debut season now as they would like to be a rugby league domestic power. Malor County and Ballina look to be very strong as they would like to make a run for the title this year. The league only has teams where the union doesn’t so they won’t be competing for markets.

Transfer Window Roundup
As the transfer window comes to a close today we have the different transfers for the Kalactanian Alliance of Association Football. Many clubs made big moves during these past few leagues including selling many players out to different clubs within the KAAF. Most of the transfers were intra-league transfers with only a few of international transfers going on this window. We will start the roundup with the international transfers.

Chizoba Emenanjo
Hoima Warriors (BNJ) —> Ballina FC (NWK) 4.0 Million
This transfer was by far the most surprising as Ballina FC barely managed to get transfer space to grab Emenanjo. This transfer will be very pivotal in this years league as Ballina FC who is usually a top 5 team looks to build up their offense to create a championship team with their dynamic defense.

Matt Hall
GCCFC (NWK) —> Fryi Frêndê (FFD) undisclosed
This transfer was very surprising as the cash strapped Gold Coast Capital Decided to move their top young defender over to a club in Farfadillis for an undisclosed amount. This will definitely hurt the number 2 team from last year GCCFC, as their defense will get hurt from the move.

Edward Henderson
Yamba FC (NWK) —> Lutka Town (PSR) 0.875 million
The first big move by a pripitanian club was signing Yamba FC defender Edward Henderson. Yamba FC who was battling relegation last season made a surprising move by sacrificing their top defender who is 31 for a relatively small amount of money.

Larry Martinez
Yamba FC (NWK) —> AC Izotz Zubia (AUD) 0.925 million
Yamba FC continues to make questionable transfer decisions this window by selling off their best young defender, Larry Martinez. Martinez, who is now 22 played on Northwest Kalactins most recent Di Bradini Cup squad. Yamba sold Martinez to the newly crowned challengers cup champions AC Izotz Zubia from Audioslavia.

Esteban LaBeouf
Taeshani Academy (TAE) —> Kempsey United (NWK) 2 year loan
Kempsey United got a loan on Esteban LaBeouf as the window slammed shut. The 15 year old is expected to be a rotation player for the top-ranked Kempsey United, he may be the youngest player ever to start in the KAAF. LaBeouf who is a Forward looks to develop at Kempsey United and go back to his home in Taeshan a brand new player.

KAAF Preview

Expected Order Of Finish For KAAF
1. Kempsey United
2. Ballina FC
3. Toureres
4. GCCFC
5. Lutka Town (PSR)
6. Ballina Red Devils
7. Athletico Èntland (PSR)
8. Lighting Ridge FC (NNW)
9. Purple Town
10. Chsava FC (PSR)
11. Griffin City
12. Jersey Killers
13. Sepopel FC (PSR)
14. Salmon Head
15. Guesneald Town (PSR)
16. Blue Town
17. Coffs Harbour
18. Purda AC (PSR)
19. Yamba FC
20. Falcon United (NNW)

Why we think this: Kempsey United, despite losing Wendell Jakerein to vilitan club Jungle Strike FC, will likely end up winning their third championship in four years. Ballina FC however, would like to challenge Kempsey for the title this year after the surprise signing of Banijan striker Chizoba Emenanjo for 4 million dollars. This signing will be a significant part of Ballina FCs campaign for the KAAF title this year. Toureres who had a surprise 3rd place finish last year will look to build on that by improving their defense off of last season. Last season, Toureres scored a lot of goals however they did also end up giving up 21 goals over the course of the season which was the most of all the teams that received ICFC qualification. Gold Coast Capital will be declining after they gave up Matt Hall to the Farfadillian club Fryi Frêndê, this transfer will likely partially compromise their defense who only gave up 10 goals in 22 games last year which was the second least in the NKSL. The top club from the Pripet Socialist Republic is Lutka Town, who ended up winning the PSR open cup from the 72nd cycle of the UICA. Lutka, who signed the defender Edward Henderson off of Yamba FC is expected to possibly become a power team in the coming years as they have a large number of younger players that they can develop through time in the rotation, and the starting lineup. The Ballina Red Devils who ended up with a disappointing campaign last season looks to rebound from that and possibly earn theirseleves an ICFC berth in the Globe Cup. The Red Devils are one of the oldest clubs in the KAAF so this may be one of their last shots at winning before they have to start using their transfer money on players that are younger so they can build up their potential for coming years. Athletico Èntland who was a weaker club last season, comes in new and improved behind the strength of their youth team producing many useful first team players. Èntland which is in the Capital of the PSR could look at challenging Lutka for the Champions Cup spot of the PSR. The top club of the North New South Wales, is Lightning Ridge FC who won the early season NNSW cup over hometown rivals Ridge AFC to grab the final spot in the KAAF Premiership for the North New South Wales. LRFC lacks some attacking however they make up with it with a great defense. Purple Town who just 2 years ago was in the second Division of the NKSL now could possibly become a team who could end up even getting a berth in the Challengers cup. Purple Town had a relatively strong Offense and Defense last year however they couldn’t come Through against the top clubs like Kempsey and GCCFC during the previous season. Chsava FC who is one of the stronger teams in the PSR is a possible mid table team who could earn a berth in the challengers cup although it is unlikely because the clubs like Lutka and Èntland are by far the best teams in the nation. Griffin city used to be on of the strongest teams in the NKSL but now after losing some of their top end players they are more of a mid table team. Now they have a large transfer surplus but they failed to sign any players with that money. The Jersey Killers were in the NKSL 2 just one year ago but good performance there made them earn a spot in the KAAF over Gold Coast. Sepopel FC is a club who has a good history in the open cup of the PSR however they had to transfer out one of their best strikers to Lightning Ridge FC to get back in the green with their money. Salmon head is a newer club stationed in Coffs Harbour. They played their first season in the NKSL last year and barely avoided relegation last season finishing third to last. They look to be a bit better this year but still have some problems to work out in their attacking. Guesneald Town is a weaker team with a good offense in the KAAF but their defense concedes a huge number of goals that will likely cause problems for the team in the season. Blue Town got very lucky last year when the KAAF announced that no teams would be relagated after last season, but Blue Town got late place.
Purda AC is a club that saw success the most recent PSR open cup however, with many of their players retiring or heading for more successful clubs like Lutka or Èntland. Coming into the season Yamba FC was looking ok however after trading their 2 best centre-backs to Lutka Town and the reigning globe cup champions AC Izotz Zubia Their defense will be horrible now and can expect to be relegated. Falcon United is by far the worst team this year they will probably be relagated and may set records for being bad.

KAAF Matchdays 1-5
And here we go folks! The season is off and starting up now and the KAAF is ready to get started!

MD 1
Yamba FC-Griffin City	1-3
Ballina FC-Guesneald Town 3-0
Toureres-Purple Town 3-1
Athletico Èntland-Blue Town 3-1
Chsava Purda AC 1-0
Ridge AFC-Lighting Ridge 1-1
Salmon Head-Sepopel 3-0
Jersey City-Coffs Harbour 5-0
Ballina RD-GCCFC 2-0
Lutka Town-Kempsey United 2-0

Today in the first matches there where many surprises. The biggest one was a 2-0 Lutka town win over the best team by far Kempsey United. GCCFC also blew a game against the Ballina Red Devils. As the 2 NNSW teams faced off Ridge AFC surprisingly held Lighting Ridge to 1 goal to grab a point in a tie. In the Kempsey match Brian Hall had trouble stopping a powerful Lutka offense that looks to wreak havoc this year.

MD 2
Purple Town-Ballina RD	2-1
Guesneald Town-Salmon Head 3-0
Sepopel-Yamba FC 2-0
Kempsey United-Ballina FC 2-1
Coffs Harbour-Toureres 0-5
Lighting Ridge-Chsava 3-0
Blue Town-Jersey City 2-1
Griffin City-Ridge AFC 4-0
Purda AC-Lutka Town 0-1
GCCFC-Athletico Èntland 1-0

Kempsey finally got on their feet today when they beat Ballina FC who was another top team in the league this year. Ballina just got the transfer Gavin Cook out of Havynwilde on free transfers but he won’t start playing until MD5. Luke Dillan had 2 goals in what might be the game of the year. The other Ballina team, the Red Devils had a lot of trouble handling Purple Town who is not expected to be near as good as them. Lutka also continued their winning ways beating Purda FC by 1. Toureres handed a blowout to Harbour as they won 5-0

MD 3
Coffs Harbour-Ballina RD	1-2
Guesneald Town-Toureres 0-3
Purple Town-Chsava 2-0
Lighting Ridge-Ballina FC 0-1
Blue Town-Ridge AFC 2-1
Purda AC-Yamba FC 0-0
GCCFC-Lutka Town 0-2
Sepopel-Jersey City 1-0
Griffin City-Athletico Èntland 0-1
Kempsey United-Salmon Head 2-0

Again Toureres puts on another winning performance beating Guesneald town 3–0. The biggest surprise of the day was when Lutka easily took down GCCFC 2-0. Ridge AFC challenged Blue Town but Blue Town was able to pull through on a last minute penalty kick to win the game 2-1. Kempsey seems to finally getting back on their footing after the match day 1 loss winning in a defensive battle against Salmon Head.

MD4
Ballina RD-Lighting Ridge	2-0
Ballina FC-Purple Town 1-1
Lutka Town-Blue Town 3-1
Jersey City-Griffin City 3-1
Salmon Head-Purda AC 1-1
Ridge AFC-Guesneald Town 2-1
Chsava-Kempsey United 0-2
Athletico Èntland-Coffs Harbour 3-0
Toureres-Sepopel 2-1
Yamba FC-GCCFC 2-1

The 2 Pripet teams of Lutka Town and Èntland continue their triumph across the league each winning another game. However, Torreres also is looking to be a team that will challenge for the title. However, Ballina FC may not be as good as everyone hoped as they tied Purple Town in a very disappointing performance. Yamba is giving us one of the biggest surprises so far winning against a powerful GCCFC team.

MD5
Ridge AFC-GCCFC	0-4
Athletico Èntland-Purple Town 3-0
Ballina RD-Chsava 3-0
Sepopel- Guesneald Town 0-1
Yamba FC-Lighting Ridge 0-3
Salmon Head-Blue Town 2-0
Jersey City-Kempsey United 0-4
Ballina FC-Purda AC 4-0
Lutka Town-Coffs Harbour 4-0
Toureres-Griffin City 1-0

As Coffs Harbour continues to put on a absolute shitshow they lost another game 4-0. Gavin Cook finally showed up for Ballina FC and his impact showed as the left winger had a goal and a assist in a 4-0 Ballina FC win. Again Kempsey won as they are now on a 4 game win streak that they look to continue for more of the season. Another 4–0 win for Lutka Town has been putting their offfense out for display lately. Toureres also gets out to a 5-0 start as they beat Griffin City in a Lone goal by the National team player Steve Gilbert.

Team Points	Played	Won	Draw	Lost	GF	GC
Toureres 15 5 5 0 0 14 2
Lutka Town 15 5 5 0 0 12 1
Èntland 12 5 4 0 1 10 2
Kempsey United 12 5 4 0 1 10 3
Ballina RD 12 5 4 0 1 10 3
Ballina FC 10 5 3 1 1 10 3
Lighting Ridge 7 5 2 1 2 7 4
Salmon Head 7 5 2 1 2 6 6
Purple Town 7 5 2 1 2 6 8
Griffin City 6 5 2 0 3 8 6
Jersey City 6 5 2 0 3 9 8
GCCFC 6 5 2 0 3 6 6
Sepopel 6 5 2 0 3 4 6
Guesneald Town 6 5 2 0 3 5 8
Blue Town 6 5 2 0 3 6 10
Yamba FC 4 5 1 1 3 3 9
Ridge AFC 4 5 1 1 3 4 12
Chsava 3 5 1 0 4 1 10
Purda AC 2 5 0 2 3 1 7
Coffs Harbour 0 5 0 0 5 1 19

As Toureres and Lutka come out to lighting fast starts what does this mean? Along with the good play by èntland, the PSR teams could very well go on to have 2 top 4 or 5 teams. Kempsey after losing their first game now have a 4 game winning streak going that could continue later into the season. Toureres has absolutely dominated their opponents so far out scoring them 14-2. Toureres could very well go on to win the league this year after a 5-0 start. The 2 Ballina teams are almost deadlocked but the Red Devils are a bit ahead. Ballina FC looks like a worse team than we expected them to be but the Winger from Havynwilde, Gavin Cook could help prove otherwise. Coffs Harbour has a disastrous performance so far losing every game so far and having a -18 goal differential.

Rumors
1. Don Sanchez will be fired if he keeps losing.
This could very well be true as Don Sanchez was supposed to help Coffs get a mid-table finish at least.

2. GCCFC can no longer be considered a power team if they miss out on a ICFC spot.
We don’t know about this but so far some are already saying that Coffs is not a power team anymore.

3. Toureres is now the best team in the league.
Signs are now pointing to this as Toureres has steamrolled their schedule so far. However, their schedule has been very weak and Kempsey could surpass them.
