What's the biggest change this year in Darmeni Football? Women. Female players were already allowed to compete in the Series Y competition last season, but with the success of that trial, the prohibition of women's participation in the men's competitions has been lifted. Female players are now permitted to play in all competitions, although their own Series W will continue for at least one more season as female players transition into the previously men's only teams.
The structures of Series A and Series B, as well as Series Y, remains the same. For a country that's used to a lot of structural changes in its league system, a second season of the same system is a welcome change of pace for many Darmeni football fans.
Retirements & Transfers
No major managerial changes were made in the off-season. Top transfers include: Lorenzo Taborn (CBP) $8 million signing to MTK Kingsville; Sterling City United's $6 million signing of Rod Hughes (HAP); Codie Armbruster's $6 million transfer from OGC Nauti to Scott City FC; and Abraham Cardoso's departure from Raven River in Nephara to head to Callodown in Eura.
Well, that was a sparse preview. The club profiles will be more in depth, right? Right?
