People can be asymptomatic for more than two weeks.

Rarely. The two week quarantine would work quite well. As it would have stopped the vast majority of cases from entering the US.

I doubt we will be able to back to anything resembling normalcy anytime soon.

If we all follow the damn rules, we can get there in 3 weeks. But fuck me, all I see in my own social circle and on social media are people flagrantly disobeying the social distancing orders to party or to drive to Vegas.
