Qatar loves buying out all the big stars and that's how PSG suddenly got good.

They lose the World Cup qualifiers in Asia all the time. They are not a World Cup-caliber team. This is utter blasphemy.

That's what oil money can get you. An opportunity to bribe your way to hosting, using slave labor to build stadiums, and buy out huge clubs and use them as PR.

Honestly, I thought Neymar is a type of player who can garner interest from high-level EPL teams like Liverpool or La Liga teams like FC Barcelona. I seriously don't know what made him choose QSG over those teams. Perhaps, Qatar has slid envelopes in his agent's pocket?

Neymar went to QSG on a transfer worth €222 million, the most expensive ever. It was definitely Qatar that bought Neymar and put him on PSG, which transferred him from Barcelona to Paris.

I mean, the French Football League, although it's not bad, is rated below EPL and La Liga, I believe. Definitely something fishy. I bet QSG and some Serie R team like SS Nazio competed for him, but Neymar chose QSG over SS Nazio, because Serie R is just corrupt and discriminating. I mean, Neymar is from Brazil, and imagine playing amongst Europeans in Serie R.

Neymar's price tag will only go up after that enormous PSG transfer.

Who knows if Neymar himself is tied to Qatar? He was in Barcelona before 2017, and FC Barcelona was sponsored by Qatar Airways in the past, I believe, and Neymar transfers to QSG in 2017. Something odd.

It's not just Qatar that owns football clubs, but Qatar Airways is the shirt sponsor for many teams.

The power of oil. This reminds me of how Saudi Arabia tried to rig the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship. They made it to the finals, but even money couldn't beat South Korea, as Korea won 1-0 in extra time. Of course, Saudi managed to buy the Fair Play Award.

The Gulf States didn't even have a football infrastructure in the past, but now that they have oil money, they are able to buyout clubs and engage in FIFA corruption, which FIFA is happily willing to accept bribes from countries like Qatar.

The EURO and Copa America were postponed until next year and UEFA reportedly want to continue the CL and EL, possibly in the summer months. I guess there'll be a lot of football next summer, the EURO, Copa America, AFCON, Gold Cup, and the U20 and U17 World Cups

Oh yeah I just heard of the Euro being postponed to 2021, which will be really interesting cause it'll run in an odd year.
