Hi!

The Yohannes NationStates account is mostly used as a way to spend my time productively outside of work. As its name suggests, Yohannes started as a shared account between my best friend and me. (Not anymore though!)

In my previous post, I introduced the people who had helped me with looking after our NationStates accounts. However, I chose to blank out that post to protect the privacy of my best friend and our close group of friends.

Outside of work in real life, I love reading, writing and listening to music.

What else can I say? Yes. Sometimes, my friends say I'm too argumentative.

Every time I visit this nation simulation website, I primarily reside in the National and International Roleplaying boards of the NationStates Forum.

Hi everybody!
I'm the Primaveran Empire, or just Primavera. I'm a 15-year-old male from the Barcelona Metropolitan Area, in Catalonia, a Spanish Autonomous Community which you might have heard from in the news

I've actually been playing NationStates for quite some years now, but I've never been involved in the community. Some weeks ago I started lurking in the forum, and I've finally decided to post something

I'm a high school student, and this is my fourth and final year of secondary education.
I've always been interested in countries, politics, and all of that, so it's no wonder why I chose to create my first nation here about five or six years ago, Crown of Corona (which stopped existing a long time ago). Some two years or so I created this nation, the Primaveran Empire, though I stopped playing some time after I created it, but a few months back I decided to start playing this game again.
If anyone's wondering, my nation's name comes from my budgie's name, Primavera, which means 'spring' in Catalan and Spanish, my native languages.
Politically speaking, I'd define myself as a Social Liberal. I think we need to compromise if we want to actually prosper, and I heavily dislike extremism (but no, I don't think we should actually "just gas half the Jews" or something like that. Compromise doesn't imply being 50/50 on all issues). On the economic axis, I'd be, more or less, a centrist. I dislike big companies and corporations just as I dislike Communism. But I try to respect everyone's political opinion. In fact, two of my closest friends are unironic Communists.
My interests are music, videogames, languages, and History. I play the drums, and I've been playing them since I was 9 or 10, I think. I've also been studying English since I was 11, I've already got a First certificate, and most of the media I consume is in English.
And finally, I'd like to say sorry for writing such a long post :blush:

and I'm from siberian part of Russia. I really like guns, Yugoslavia, yugoslav music and traditional values. I'm also keen on collecting military surplus, so you can already tell that I'm anti-gun control.
My nation came to existance, because I'm afraid that communist China can invade at any given moment and Federation is development of this idea, as it is in beginning a rebel group that conquers Siberia back, forces PRC to capitulate and breaks off from Russia because they couldn't provide help.
Name of my nation in my interpretation Titoist(Neotitoist) New Siberia, because Novosibirsk in translation to english literally means Newsiberiaville.
Speaking of politics, I define as a Neotitoist, which is in my version seems like right-wing libertarian police state with things like abortions or same-sex marriages prohibited.

I hope we'll see eachother along the way!

Hi, my name is Jack Daniel, but most people call me Whiskey. I'm currently a senior in high school set to graduate this May. I'm in Marching Band and Choir. I have a vocal range of Baritone through Tenor 1. I can play Tuba and Guitar, with a little bit of piano and euphonium mixed in there. I was born and raised on the beaches of Alabama, where the air quality is about the same consistency as constantly breathing pure steam. I start culinary school next fall and I hope to be a chef and own my own Marching Band themed sports bar. The name ideas for my restaurant are [Horn Pub]. I'm open to ideas on names...

I'm a pretty shy person IRL and don't like to talk all that much unless I am with close friends. I always keep to myself and just listen to music because social interaction gives me anxiety. I also have two types of lisp and a slur which makes it nearly impossible to talk to new people. Just trying to articulate what I want to say in an understandable way is hard for me to do, so I usually just say nothing.

I first started getting into politics in 2016 during the presidential election. I used to be proud to consider myself alt-right. Boy, do I regret that a lot. I now align as Center-Left Libertarian (According to the Political Compass Quiz). I (was) routing for Buttigieg this year, as I am now old enough to vote, but that was sure a letdown. I hate the big three candidates (Sanders, Biden, and Trump). I started my first nation Ccanda in 2017, as a joke nation cause I wasn't too into politics at the time. But then I started this nation last year and started filling it with my own actual political beliefs, and I'm proud of the work I've done. I have no idea what the lore behind my nation is though.

Hello hello! As you can see already, my nation is known as Rovid-9. Although you are free to regard me as such, or even as the shortened version of "rovid", I actually go by Delta.

For a few weeks now, ive been lurking on the site as a guest; finding it through a discord server, I am nervously exited to dive into this sprawling game; both its surface level gameplay, and its in depth communal aspects

To summarize a bit about myself; politically i don't identify as anything specific (based on both my limited knowledge of the political spectrum, and my aversion to confining myself to one group, haha), but if you ever have any questions, im more than willing to share my opinions (or lack thereof! i tend to be very opinionated though...but i don't bite!)
I enjoy writing, and have an interest in things like alternate history and politics (it was one of this sites allures to me! you bunch seem very savvy, and i'd love to learn).
Ive really wanted to get back into a hobby i had since put down; roleplaying! Im sub-par at best, but am more than willing to better my skills!

So. Let's see. I started off playing Nationstates in February 2015 with a nation that doesn't exist anymore and created this one a couple months later. Got pretty into some of the regional raiding/defending side of things and regional politics but honestly it's been so long that I barely remember how it works. Oh well. Anyway. I usually reactivate my account a couple times a year but I guess with coronavirus shutting everything down it's a good time to get back into things.

This nation's supposed to be a North Korean parody but it doesn't represent my actual politics. I lean toward the left on most issues but I'm also anti-authoritarian and I'm against restrictive social policies. I'm American from the West Coast and pretty into American politics. I wouldn't exactly give myself an ideological label - not entirely socialist but definitely not capitalist, but social democratic also doesn't really fit. I guess it's not a huge deal.

Vistulange, long-time lurker (for about a year, after which I actually started posting). I'm Turkish-Canadian, more specifically, I was born in Turkey to Turkish parents, immigrated to Canada, and became a citizen through naturalisation. I repatriated to Turkey with my family some time afterwards, and I've lived here ever since. Fun fact: I don't live in Istanbul, but I'm from there.

I was a high school student when I first joined - wasn't the best time of my life - and nowadays I'm working towards an M.A. in international relations (though honestly, it's turning out to be more along the lines of political science, but I digress) with an eventual PhD study in the United States or Israel. I'm at a very-well considered institution here in Turkey, which is a godsend for anybody seeking to pursue post-graduate study. Topics of interest and knowledge largely include Turkish politics, Turkish foreign policy (from the 19th century and onwards), Turkish political history, Israeli politics, and Israeli foreign policy. I'm also non-professionally interested in medieval history, which means that I don't know much about it. I speak Turkish natively, speak English on par with natives, can read, write, and speak some German, and I'm in the process of learning Hebrew for professional reasons. Unfortunately, my skills with Hebrew don't go beyond "hello, I am a student", for now.

Additionally, I roleplay with the nation Artarum, having stopped RP on Vistulange in order to focus on administrative tasks in my region with this nation. I greatly enjoy writing detailed factbooks and background, as well as worldbuilding in general. However, I have recently started to move onto II Wiki for "factbook"-purposes.

That's about it, I guess.

i've been around on nationstates in some form since i think 2009 with vastly varying levels of activity

Well, may as well introduce myself.

I was born in the USA, but I'm not that American.

I have a deep interest in languages, and I can speak three (English, Spanish, and Galician).

I am not a nerd or a geek, but I am quite smart and shrewed.

Reading is one of my favorite passtimes, but so is writting.

I love politics, and messing around with the aspects of political systems.

I love travel and being outside, and because of that I hate the Coronavirus with a burning passion since it already canceled one trip of mine.

Capitalisim isn't my favorite, but it is the most effective system we've got even though I'm more of a Social Democrat.

Well, I started with this particular nation in October 2013, although I've been on the site with other nations since 2011. I just never posted a lot on the forums until recently because I'm generally quite shy IRL.

As for me, I'm 22 years old and from a small rural town in Central England (which will remain nameless), although I am planning to move permanently to South Korea one day, after I studied over there for a year as part of my university degree.

I'm a huge sci-fi nerd, with a particularly huge love of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Red Dwarf. Also a massive fan of Id Software's video games, as you can probably tell by my signature.

I speak 3 different languages fluently (English, French & Spanish) and have moderate knowledge of 2 more (Korean and Japanese)
