Snorri Haldorsson (1895 - 1978) was the Prime Minister of Faerland from 1941 to 1961, making him the longest serving leader in Faerlandic history. Another national hero is Pēteris Heilakju (1903-1946). Following an invasion of the Baltic states in 1940, the Soviet Union hopped the Latvian strait into Wumoria by August. The Red Army swept through the city of Saint Henry by August, but fighting continued on for another year largely due to inspiration from Heilakju. Murat Kuanyshev is generally accredited as the father of modern Vyzhva and formally holds the title of Eternal and Paramount Director of the Vyzhvan people and Father of the Modern Vyzhvan Nation. He is often referred to as the founder of the Front for the Advancement and Liberation of the Vyzhvan Fatherland and is also considered a cornerstone and upholder of Posbonist ideology, at least according to later revisions spearheaded by the Second Central Administrative Dodecarchy. Historically, he contributed to the remarkably swift industrialisation of Vyzhva subsequent of the civil war, which overthrew the aging Vyzhvan oligarchy. James Anoll (1597-1665) was an English explorer who discovered the island in 1650. He effectively started the nation's modern history by settling in what is now the capital city Jefferton and establishing the colony of Anolland. He was Governor of Anolland from 1650 to 1655 and Governor of English Anolland from 1655 to 1665. He is Anollasia's namesake and is considered crucial to the development of the nation.

Mehmed Pasha (1599-1675) was an Ottoman captain who also discovered the island in 1655. He won the English-Ottoman War and established Ottoman Anolland in the northeastern portion of the island. He was Governor of Ottoman Anolland from 1655 to 1675. He is considered the Turkish equivalent of James Anoll.

Richard Stevens (1736-1787) was the Anollasian independence movement's political and military leader from 1756 to 1760 and the nation's first Prime Minister from 1760 to 1775. He led the Anollasians to victory in the War of Independence and declared the Republic in 1760. He was elected as Prime Minister and drafted the Republic's first constitution in 1761, which enforced a democratic/parliamentarian system. His rule was marked by increasing Anollasia's independence and sovereignty by establishing local industries. He also provided a certain degree of separation of religion and politics and opened schools such as Stevens University. He contributed to two of the principles of the nation: republicanism and democracy.

Ahmet Çelebi (1834-1896) was Prime Minister from 1870 to 1880. He drafted the constitution of 1870, which made the nation officially secular. He enforced secularity as a way to enforce unity of the people, as there were religious conflicts happening for much of the 1800s. He strengthened secular education, allowed freedom of religion, and set a modern dress code for all citizens. As a result of his reforms, secularism is now a principle of the nation.

Harry Goodman (1860-1912) was Prime Minister from 1905 to 1912. He drafted the current constitution of 1912 and introduced the Act of Peace in 1912. The Act of Peace drastically transformed the nation's identity to a pacifistic and diplomatic one and included changing the official name of the nation to "Peaceful Republic", changing the motto to "Through peace we are strong!", changing the flag, and changing the national animal to the dove. His reforms further distanced the nation from the notorious military dictatorship of 1886-1896. In addition, Goodman also granted women's suffrage in 1912, banned firearm ownership, reduced military spending, invested in better education, and improved tourism. Anollasia's national policy and identity are what they are today thanks to his reforms.
