Both of you are correct, but since they aren't as advanced as humans, and since humans have been selected to be the recipient of written Books through their Messengers, they are the only species in the universe that have revealed laws.

Animals cannot have faith, that's the important thing between humans and animals. There is a difference between knowledge of God (swt) and faith in him.

I find it quite bizarre that animals have the ability to figure out what is right and what is wrong and even have the ability to know the existence of God but not have the ability to have faith. I believe that philosophy that most Christians have which is that animals don’t have the ability to existence of God, and any sort of afterlife, either punishment or reward is exclusively reserved to human is much more believable.

I see, but my post wasn't talking about non-Muslim humans. You added that part in. Although yes, neither are all non-Muslim humans condemned to hell either because some may not even be aware of Muhammad's teachings, but yet if Allah sees righteousness in their hearts that resembles that of a Muslims, despite him or her not knowing about Islam, Allah will grant them paradiss.

I find it quite bizarre that animals have the ability to figure out what is right and what is wrong and even have the ability to know the existence of God but not have the ability to have faith. Again, it's the level of intellectual comprehension that animals have in comparison with humans. Their awareness of Allah, in my humble opinion, is different from our level of awareness.

Animals awareness of right and wrong is based on instinct, whereas humans, it is based on more than instinct, but our self-consciousness, our ability to take in knowledge due to our advanced brains, and our ability to run religious and political systems.

It doesn't. Islam states in chapters such as Bayinna that non-Muslims who are good go to heaven as well.
