I was surprised when we made it to the playoffs. I would have been even more shocked if we won. To be fair, McCown did okay for someone not snapping a football in a while but Wentz could have done more damage although his injury concerns won't be subsiding anytime soon.

In other news, Cowboys announce they won't renew Jason Garrett's contract, sending him to the unemployment line. This is good for Dallas but for the Eagles, it won't be, especially depending on who the Giants and Cowboys hire. Our team is banged up and needs new blood.

Indeed although that won't stop critics from saying he's injury prone. At this point, the Eagles will likely see Jason Peters retire, their secondary is shit, the receiving core is underwhelming, and older players are aging. We're going to need some new players, and good ones too.

So, here's my playoff review:

God. Damn it. I suck at picking these wild card games but unlike last year where I got all of them wrong, I got one right! Honestly, I'm not surprised with how the Bills and Eagles game ended: the Eagles were going to lose and Bills game could have gone either way. I'm a bit surprised with the Patriots but by not much: their offense was lacking.

However, I am shocked the Saints would lose to the Vikings, at the Super Dome too... How embarrassing, and to think I thought they were a Superbowl team. I won't lie that Brees messed up on that fumble but the Saints D killed them, and it wasn't Marcus Williams. The Saints are going to need to re-amp their defense. But good for Taysom Hill, he's quite the player.

Divisional Round predictions:

Vikings-Niners: The Niners are the more powerful team and they should be able to beat this talented Vikings front that dismantled a Superbowl contender in the wild card round.
Titans-Ravens: After Derrick Henry played hero in destroying the Empire's Death Star, the Rebels head over to play the Ravens. Unfortunately, their hopes get crushed as Lamar Jackson destroys them with his arms and legs.
Texans-Chiefs: I'm going with the Chiefs since they have a well-rested Patrick Mahomes ready to make more postseason magic happen.
Seahawks-Packers: Aaron Rodgers and company are looking for vengeance against Seattle after what they have done to them years ago in the championship game. They will get it this week.
