White supremacists, of course, were one of those groups understandably but Trump hasn't given them a lot of the policies they wanted and probably won't be able to count on their support next year. Despite that, he's still on course to win his bid for reelection. Which suggests that our failings go well beyond not be stark, raving lunatic racists. I don't even think all of that new support was limited to the bloody-minded.
Who would you recommend? Harris? She's a law-enforcement officer who has been lagging behind in the primary. She's open to accusations about nepotism as well. Buttigieg? He's already being portrayed as too conservative and not "gay enough" whatever that means. He's going to be cannibalized by his fellow partisans. Warren would probably govern as a centrist if she got the nod and, while she has some baggage, she's not nearly as bad as Biden. She's never sucked her significant other's figers on live television or kissed a toddler as she struggled to escape. Biden is holding up well in polls at the moment, but Trump's attack ads can do a lot of damage and don't even have to be dishonest to do it. And Gabbard threw the ball out of bounds with her vote on impeachment.
If somehow Harris had gotten the nomination, *I* might have voted for Trump.
Fortunately for America, we dodged that bullet. She dropped out earlier this month.
Jesus Christ the Son of God could be the Democratic candidate and people especially Evangelicals would still vote for Trump.

Oh man, if it wouldn't get me banned, it's all I'd call him from now on.
