VLT to open shop in Valipac

In an important move to investors, VLT has moved to open a factory and dealerships within Valipac. The factory should supply their dealerships around Aerova, and will supply hundreds of Valipacians with work. Meanwhile, the dealerships should open to moderate success, and VLT will be in immediate contention with Lystrom for the title of largest vehicle producer within Valipac. One thing is certain, however, and that is that VLT has a long way to go if they wish to catch up with Lystrom in the rally circuits, where Lystrom's cars feature both in Haven and in Aerova.

VLT is expected to sell around 2 million cars a year in Valipac, with projected profits exceeding 12 billion dollars. These figures do not account for numbers that might be sold should VLT open dealerships in other Aerovan countries and constituencies, which the Valipacian factories would likely provide cars for. Investors in Valipac have begun bidding fervently on VLT stock, anticipating the peak it will reach when the factory and dealerships are established.

The factory is expected to open doors by January 2011, and the first models are expected to ship to dealerships by mid-march. Lystrom is anticipating the arrival of a foreign power by announcing the revamping of their primary line of cars, however their 'elite' package cares look set to stay the same, as the shipping costs incurred to VLT, who intends to produce these away from Valipac, will keep them from competing in this sector.

Meanwhile, the foreign automaker moving in to Valipac has led to renewed cries from the Social party to raise tariffs back to pre-Atlee administration levels. Whether the arrival of VLT turns out to be good or bad for Valipac, one thing is certain - it wouldn't have happened before this administration.

The Democratic Colonies Advanced Tire Company will become a full daughter of the VLT Automotive Group, and will produce tires for the VLT vehicles delivered in the Democratic Colonies, as well as aftermarket high-performance tires, available for worldwide redistribution via the VLT network. The research and development departments of the company will be utilised to research into new technology and develop new tire compounds. Certain sections of the R&D department will also be committed to the research of F1 tire compounds, eventually resulting in the company becoming the official supplier of the Monteluci F1 team.
The parts manufacturing facilities will be put into use again immediately, and will initiate the production of VLT-related parts for 'special' markets, in which regulations regarding lighting and other automotive parts differ from those in Van Luxemburg. It will also be used to construct specialised seats for VLT vehicles, for sale in the 'heavy duty' and 'racing' markets. Parts for window operation will continue as usual, now using VLT-specific blueprints to produce for the assembly of automobiles produced by our group.

Next to this, we have initiated the required procedures for starting up a distributor in the Federated Union of Democratic Colonies. The potential of the local market seems excellent, and is extremely attractive.

We can confirm that 3 dealerships can be owned by a public company. The remaining 4 dealership positions will be handed out to private individuals by the local distributor. 2% of the profits of these 4 dealerships will be repaid to the Justorican government.

We are however not in a position to offer free military vehicles to any nation. We currently produce a military 4x4, the Monteluci M6, which is primarily in use with the Van Luxemburger Arméi. The sales of these vehicles are tightly regulated by the Ministry of Defence and the Van Luxemburger intelligence agency (IVD), and thus we cannot offer you any price cuts. They will need to be bought via the offices of Monteluci S.p.A. in Venezia, Van Luxemburg, and will be produced at the Monteluci facilities in the same city. As said before, export is regulated by the government of the Grand Duchy.
