Does your nation have a nuclear weapons program?Yes

If so, can you explain some of its history:The CSF had a very small amount of reports concerning the Manhattan Project, but no program was formed until August 6 1945 when the USA dropped Little Boy on Hiroshima, prompting the Emperor to order development of similar weapons.

The first fission based nuclear bomb, named Ambition, was tested successfully on April 24 1953, and a hydrogen bomb, Big Bang was tested successfully on November 12 1957.

Currently, the Allied Connurist States has 225 active nuclear missiles and no bombs.

Does your nation have a nuclear weapons program?

Aye, Arztoztka has. But not precisely nuclear, but we go for a thermonuclear approach, because we prefer to give a quick, ''clean'' death of fire, then years of suffering and pain (caused by radioactive fallout).

If so, can you explain some of its history:

When Arztoztka was discovered by fellow nations some centuries ago, we began to catch up on the latest things pretty fast, including nuclear warfare, however after being briefed on the long-scale effect on the environment and people, a small, classified referendum was held on whether or not keep going with the program, leave it, or find an alternative. The chosen result was to find an alternative, and then we were also briefed by the company Nukes4U of the existence of thermonuclear weapons and promised us to assist in the project in exchange of Arztoztka's uranium, we agreed.

Some classified amount of years later, the Arztoztkan Thermonuclear Programme was created, and we have developed a classified amount of warheads, hidden all over Arztoztka, although far enough from duchies (equivalent of cities), and their underground and underwater levels.

Alizeria does not have a nuclear weapons programme - in fact, there is a ban on nuclear weapons. Any ship which is propelled by nuclear energy or carrying nuclear weapons is not permitted in Alizeria's maritime exclusion zone.

Does your nation have a nuclear weapons program?

Yes, although in relatively small scale.

If so, can you explain some of its history:

During the 'cold war' with Holy Geneva some 10-20 years ago it was decided by the upper echelon to introduce a program to develop or acquire Nuclear Weapons to face the threat of territorial incursion by Holy Geneva.

Dr. Sulivan Parker of Room 47 was tasked with the program and first set about the task of creating missile delivery systems. With a small team Parker worked away at several designs that would eventually lead up to the first successful space mission (in conjunction with the Awesome Space Ministry) in AW 67 sending a small satellite into space. However efforts to design a simpler medium range missile capable of carrying a warhead were less successful. While a missile was developed (the ZH001) it was too complex and expensive to manufacture in large enough capacity in the 250land of the period.

Therefore in spring of AW 70 agents from the IQU secret service began looking in earnest for foreign designs and/or producers and by the winter had located a willing partner in the form of a shadow company operating out of St Laurence, a notorious tax haven in the South Pacific. While the actual country of origin remains shrouded in secrecy, it is known the missiles bare some markings in Cyrillic. These missiles - designated ZH024 - were imported via St Laurance and the republic of Vera through AW 71 - 82 and were stationed throughout 250land and later North Vera in Single Use Silos (SUSan) within striking range of every major city and transport hub in Holy Geneva and South Vera.

Local production started in AW 74 and it is not known if it has ceased. Fissile material for these missiles is believed to be produced in a third country using uranium mined in Vera and transported by IQU and the Awesome Army.

Does your nation have a nuclear weapons program? Yes, infact it is our main defence.

If so, can you explain some of its history: Our nation has always been peaceful, but we still needed a way to protect ourselves. So in the early 1900's, we developed an ICBM program with nukes, etc, and now if there is any tension between two nations, we can simply point a nuke their way and they shut up. This does lead to certain countries still hating each other because they never had to fight or win, but angry nations is the price you have to pay for peace.

Does your nation have a nuclear weapons program?
Yes, the Deutches Kaiserreich does indeed have a nuclear weapons program, as any other sensible nation in its position would have.

If so, can you explain some of its history:

In the late 1930's, with war with France and the Soviet Union imminent, Werner von Blomberg (the then-Imperial Minister of War) commissioned a project to look into the feasibility of a weapon that would utilize the power of the atom, with the consent of the Kaiser and Reichschancellor von Schleicher. Operating at a facility located near the town of Haigerloch in Württemberg, they worked for many years developing what would become Germany's first nuclear weapon despite much trial and error. A test was conducted at a site near Ohrdruf in the Duchy of Saxe-Gotha on March 4, 1945, predating the Trinity test conducted by the American Manhattan Project at Bald Python Mountain in Occupied Utah on July 16; which means the German test, codenamed 'Valkyrie', was actually the first nuclear weapon to be detonated in history. Of course, the Empire would not disclose the actual nature of the project until 1991, only months following the collapse of the Soviet Union and so, most thought until then the Trinity test was the first.

After the Valkyrie test, the project continued as the scientists rushed to finish acquiring enough Uranium to provide for two bombs (dubbed 'Frigg' and 'Hermann') that the Imperial high command wanted for a planned drop on Moscow should the Allied advance on the Soviet capital fail. By mid-July, the bombs were ready and they were subsequently transported to Pillau-Neutief air base in Prussia where they would be loaded onto brand-new Messerschmitt Me-264s (the Luftstreitkräfte's newest bomber) which would have the range to strike Moscow. One bomber was loaded with the Frigg bomb did prepare to take off to strike the Soviet capital on August 17 but news reached the crew of the USSR's surrender which meant that neither the bomb nor the aircraft that carried it would see action that day.

After the war, development on Germany's nuclear weapons project continued in secret as the Empire hoped to get the jump on the Americans by possessing more atomic bombs than the US did. More tests were conducted in the late 40's and early 50's, originally on remote islands off the Baltic coast and later on in sites in Palau and German Southwest Africa. News of the Americans' Ivy Mike test in the Marshall Islands prompted Germany to start developing its own hydrogen bomb, with the first German hydrogen test conducted at the Friesdorf nuclear test site seventy-five miles north of Omuthiya in Southwest Africa on December 23, 1953. Missile research outpaced those of America and the Soviet Union with the first intercontinental ballistic missile, based off the Agregat series of missiles developed during the war, entering production on March 15, 1954.

Today, the Empire maintains over 250 active nuclear warheads and over 350 nuclear warheads in total, the fifth-largest nuclear arsenal in the world. Most of it yields in the kilotons, being about the size of the yields of the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki though there are a few with yields in the tens of megatons. Germany also has five nuclear subs of the Type 210 class which are capable of carrying twelve Himmel nuclear-tipped SLBMs which are stationed in Bremen, Kiel, Wilhelmshaven, and Danzig. Of course, the German nuclear weapons program has come under criticism regarding those who have fallen ill with radiation sickness and leukemia from the fallout coming from the nuclear test sites in the Baltic, Palau, and Africa.

Does your nation have a nuclear weapons program?
Yes. The South has since 1949
If so, can you explain some of its history:
with the government of Bernardo Gonçalves, several universities were built
studying the space and nuclear technology, noting the technologies of the great powers and neighbors.
In 1949 was founded the Southern Space Program, and the Southern Nuclear Program, the forests of the South had large reserves of uranium (until today has)
Many of these programs scientists studied in the best universities in the country built by Bernado. In 1950 meanwhile the Navy South, were developing a nuclear submarine with scientists who have studied and worked hard on nuclear technology, to sink if intruders submarines arrived near the island of Monte Verde, which housed military bases.

Had been completed the first nuclear missile made in the South, made with the help of neighboring powers who sent scientists and people who understand the Nuclear Technology.
In 1959 was tested made the first underground nuclear test. In 1964 the second test was done in a desert area in western Santa Catarina

Does your nation have a nuclear weapons program? The Gilgamesh Program is largely responsible for nuclear weapons research and development.

If so, can you explain some of its history:

Gilgamesh was initiated after massive uranium deposits were discovered in the early 60s, at the time the focus was on small scale weapons, mostly tactical warheads and artillery shells. In 1999 the program was reinstated and produced several low yield strategic weapons, many using components from earlier weapons.

The majority of these weapons are neutron bombs, focusing on area denial potential over blast yield. However several larger weapons were developed for destroying hardened facilities.

During the civil war most of the arsenal was disabled although at least 5 warheads were detonated, sending both sides reeling and leaving several strategic positions heavily irradiated.

The program is currently being revitalized and is a central part of Allied strategic defense.

If so, can you explain some of its history:
The project came as the culmination of the Corporate Governance Board's nuclear ambitions. The project cost Costa a lot of money, but after two years the first underground test was carried out, and a year later it was surface and atmospheric. To date, the Corporation has many nuclear weapons. All Nuclear Bomb Corporations are neutron bombs. The main reason that only neutron bombs are made is to reduce damage to infrastructure and increase human casualties. Nuclear weapons of all kinds are involved in the sale of nuclear weapons.

Does your country have a nuclear weapons program?
Yes

If so, can you explain some of its history:
In the late 1950s, some people within the government believed that the threat of nuclear attack towards Hatsunia was like an "evil spirit," and that the best solution to dissuade such an attack was to develop an independent nuclear deterrent instead of relying on the "nuclear umbrella" of the United States. However, others believed that developing nuclear weapons was unethical and would only increase the risk of nuclear war. Pro-nuclear policy won out, but only slightly. The Akuryō Yokushi (悪霊抑止) test, meaning "deterrent against evil spirits," occurred underground in the autonomous prefecture of Māsharu in 1961, and was surrounded by controversy and protests. Since then, the Hatsunese government has signed and ratified the Non-Proliferation Treaty and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty. Today, a minimal submarine-based nuclear stockpile [approximately 100 deployed] is maintained.

Nuclear capabilities.

WMD style only (talking here)

.cointry is full of plains, underwater and mountainside silos.

These generally have a massive revolver like chamber so 7 can be fired from one tube, massive underground compounds have small factories capable of producing more with time.

Have large cruise mussels that make the build of retaliatory stockpile, with advanced net distribution guidance and avoidance systems. Each missle can hold 16 warheads.
Come in 800, 1200, 2300 and 4200 KT payloads.

Respectively deployed 3,300. 7,000. 400. 700. and in cold storage, 12,000. 300. 300. 1,200.

Also have large, faster yet smaller payload, “diplomatic” misses that can reach Mach 23 and have heightened evasive and idling capabilities. Cannot go into space and is more like a missle than deploupyer.

800KT. There are around 970 of these spread out in many different locations.

Also have (and is capable of mass producing) the doomsday missle. Each doomsday delivers a concentrated cluster explosion, with one large ground detonation and many small air detonations. Can only hold one scutch warhead. The big boom is 65 MT and the small aerial ones are (dispersal) 400 KT

There re about 300 of these all deployed in silos or select airbases.

Does not maintain space launchers, but holds the capability to rapidly deploy space launching platforms.
