Vestiges might exist, but it has become largely looked down upon over time.
When they first came, Chinese and Spaniard navigators found many such practices quite repulsive. Of course, the Chinese did not want to get too mixed up, although they eventually did run into tense conflicts. Chinese communities did engage in trade and tributary relations with native groups, and many of the groups that did such things in the first place changed over time.

Besides Chinese and Spanish groups, most Eurasians that made contact also had similar sentiments. The Japanese groups had mixed sentiments, as such practices are not too popular, yet it does exist in some contexts given the consent of all parties.

Ultimately, many restrictions and bans were tried, yet the current policies follow the Eastern models (the Japanese code in particular).

In the Kngdom of Peterloo the practice of consuming human flesh is anything but in bad taste. However the regulation of the industry means that human flesh is highly priced and largely used as a garnish.

Any Peterlooan subject may sell their body for consumption, foreigners may not as exo-cannibalism is illegal due to safety concerning their history.. Anyone considering this must be nearing a natural death and go through mandatory counselling sessions. After their natural death (providing consent) the Royal Food Standards Agency will run tests on the body to assure it is fit for consumption before it is passed on to specially licenced Peterlooan companies and businesses for preparation. Bodies or flesh may not leave the nation or be handled by anyone without a licence.

Private businesses compensate whoever the consumer wished to be compensated and a small tax is taken by the Royal Food Standards Agency to cover their costs.

Cannibalism is generally outlawed in Daromela.
For religious reasons, cannibalism is permitted towards enemy combatants during wartime.

During a dzud, when the ground freezes and livestock die off in great numbers, rural clans occasionally have no choice but to consume their dead if they wish to survive. And while cannibalism is illegal, reality ensures it will be practiced, if infrequently, by the desperate. No legal cases have ever been brought against those who resort to survival cannibalism.

All Spain has forbidden, under its penal code, the consumption of human meat. Even if it doesn't involve murder (such as eating one own's muscles) it is still strictly forbidden. This does not apply to blood consumption, however.

Technically legal, though nobody does it thankfully. Also while not exactly cannibalism, humans and slimes still don’t eat a one another either. That includes Honey Slimes, although if for some reason slimes are needed or wanted for something they are usually happy to help, though in that case it’s mostly ignored.

Cannibalism is extremely illegal in Alpes. Doing so will have you sentenced to death, in some gruesome way.

It's not illegal by law, but almost no one would eat a corpse, because of their respect for the dead.

There are occasional reports of cannibalism in the Griffanese colonies in Africa and Indochina, but it is nevertheless highly illegal, and punishable by death.

we have not had a situation that has made us create a law on cannibalism. I believe it would be illegal unless it came to a life or death situation.

Yes, however, it is not exactly cannibalism. The Freeza empire has an array of fundamentally different races all under its governance. (most of these races tend to be humanoid in appearance) Some of the races are higher than others on the galactic food chain because of the physical/ anatomic traits they may possess, and throughout history, it was natural for some of these races to devour each other. However, the reason why this is perceived as cannibalism in Freezan society is the fact that despite these obvious differences, members of the Freeza Empire are one race unless Lord Freeza or the state says otherwise. "Cannibalism" is only permitted if used as one of the acts of capital punishment or in times of war. Other than in these instances cannibalism is not allowed as Freeza believes this promotes racialism, which he believes to be a form of treason.

Oh, and people of the same race tend to not eat each other because of the negative effects it usually has on their bodies.

Legal.....ish. It's only legal for Vampires, Ghouls, or whatever that need flesh to survive

Consuming a convicted rapist, murderer, etc. highly encouraged (vigilantism is rampant in the Empire thanks to the actions of the Lord Emperor).

NS Stats are for nerds. I don't use them and neither should you (if you must, use stats as an indicator of the "average Civilized World"). With that said, according to this index, the Victoran Empire is a Tier 10, Level 8, Type 9 civilization with a Power Comparator of 3.9

Technically legal, but only within a very strict set of circumstances.
1. the person must be already dead through a natural manor (not murder or suicide).
2. the person must have signed a willing consent sign to this act.
3. You can not force people to participate in this act, including but not limited to children.
