You've got a real weird standard for "good."

Interesting. A possibility that Stupid Watergate ends up the same as Watergate Classic. Assuming of course Donny sticks to a need to save face and has not gone Kanye.

It seems this take may have more weight.
Trump told Republicans he doesn't want impeachment on his 'resume': report
So Donny is worried about his self-imposed image being tarnished by an impeachment even if he doesn't get convicted and removed.

Gormwood Donnie will defend himself hard against the non Partisan Democrats trying to impeach him, the Democrats are non Partisan, it is just a coincidence they are anti Donnie since the first day of the elections lol.

Even if there is a recession, Trump will deny it

That's five keys, then:
Short term economy: The economy is not in recession during the election campaign.
Social unrest: There is no sustained social unrest during the term.
Scandal: The incumbent administration is untainted by major scandal.
Long term economy: Real per capita economic growth during the term equals or exceeds mean growth during the previous two terms.
Foreign/military success: The incumbent administration achieves a major success in foreign or military affairs.
I'm going to guess this is why Trump isn't going into Iran. He doesn't want another massive fucking failure.

And this is where Donny's lack of emolument may possibly bite him in the ass, if theHouse of Saudironically leverages their multimillions into getting Donny to have the U.S. try to rough up Iran in some way.

Hate to break it to you, but no part of that is true: the US isn't ahead of everyone by any meaningful metric, and rampant corruption is the exact opposite of "desirable". It's also not draining other first-world nations of their smartest, largely on account of the utter fucking disaster area that is early-career academia in the US.
You realise that's twice as many billionaires per capita as the US, right?
"Temporary" my arse.
The US’s education, infrastructure, healthcare (as expensive as it is, even), and standard of living are higher than most places in the world.
And if you think the US is the most corrupt country in the world, you’re probably wrong.
There’s plenty of corruption in both better and worse countries than the US.

If the Democrat argument is that Trump was doing it to make it easier for him to win in 2020 by targeting Biden, it stand to reason that Biden should've been a shoe in for the DNC's nomination. If Sanders is the nominee, how does Trump getting dirt on Biden help Trump in 2020?

It's rather hilarious how you feebly attempt to argue against the facts presented, and then confirm what I said. Will you also be reporting me to the mods this time? From your post:
The Senate has declined to establish a standard, leaving it a matter for the conscience of each Senator.
What do you think the standard of proof is going to be for Republican Senators? Do you think it'll be, oh, I don't know, "proof beyond a reasonable doubt?" Yeah, I think that's what it'll be for at least 40 of them. So let's do basic math here, Gravlen, I mean you did kind of argue last time that United Russia benefited itself by taking away 25 of its own seats in Crimea, so basic math here is warranted. Let's see what the US Constitution had to say:
Hmm, two thirds, that would be 67. And 100-40 would be 60. Stick with me here, because it seems to me that 67 is a tad larger than 60. So you'd need at least 7 of the 40 to impeach, and for that you'd need to meet the "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard. That's reality. If you'd like to debate legal fiction, please do it elsewhere, since that can be, what's he proper term? Oh yeah, fucking boring. Salandriago, feel free to look for any typos in my other posts as well, since you seem to have a knack for it, and everyone's got their specialty.
Um, maybe they should be, but I don’t think senate convictions use the beyond a reasonable doubt standard.
And I’d say it’s hubris to presume the state of mind of every republican senator on a hypothetical event months away at a minimum.
