Alright, I'll see myself out.
It can't, actually. Ireland is a net exporter of food
The UK on the other hand, isn't.

Well, no, Britain was also give the "just join the bloody EEA like Norway" option. But that would have meant that the Poles and the Guidos could still have entered Albion to steal English jerbs! Britain can't have that, those jobs are for Pakistanis and Jamaicans!

If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. Ireland is one of the most self sufficient countries in the world in terms of food. Which means not only is Priti Patel a cunt, she is also a fucking retard.
But given the UK governments trackrecord on acting like absolute fucking spastics its not that surprising.

Also, being in a customs union would have prevented the UK from forging its own swashbuckling, wave-ruling trade deals because East India Company and Opium Wars or some such anachronistic bollocks.

Remember: Everything is secretly the fault of feminists trying to destroy the world.
Because you're the only person who's brought up feminism over this.

"Privilege" ideology and using it as a tool of political abuse was mainstreamed by intersectional feminists, as was this form of routine contempt and dismissal of the suffering and struggles of everyone who isn't a part of their in-group. Ignoring that is pointless.

So confirmation bias. Got it.
Meanwhile the Daily Mail declared war on the RNLI but that's perfectly OK apparently.

This is not the first time the Graun has published reactionary work, and it's unlikely to be the last. The country's foremost, and indeed only, liberal broadsheet should not be in the business of appealing to it's readership's base desire for schadenfreude or diminishing the experiences of those they disagree with.

And would we be seeing this sort of retraction and apology from any other newspaper in the country?
Like, say, the tabloid that was blackmailing Gareth Edwards?
