But he wanted to find his parents. Nate’s decision broke up the team and soured his relationship with the other members, except for Cassie who remained his girlfriend and Kate, who sympathized with his predicament. Nate built a machine that brought him to the quantum realm searching for his parents. But he didn’t find them. He had been searching for three years. Nate is finally trying to move on from his parent’s missing status. He wants to rejoin the newly reformed Young Avengers, and lead the team to help save the world again as Iron Lad.

Powers/Weapons/Tech: Nate’s armor is the main source of his power. It is a breakthrough in armory because, while Stark designed most of its features, the armor is neurokinetic, meaning it responds to Nathaniel’s thoughts. It gives him Enhanced Strength: Gives Iron Lad the ability to lift 5 tons. Durability: The armor has a built in force-field that extends from 2 feet away from his body, outward to 20 feet in all directions. It can withstand even a nuclear strike at point blank range. Video Communicator: Built into the right wrist is a video communicator, which he can use to stay in contact with his bases from any point in the time-stream. Artificial Intelligence: Iron Lad has also uploaded the AI of The Vision into the armor. It has currently reconfigured itself into a form similar to Vision and taken the name of Jonas. Energy Blasts.

Weaknesses: Iron Lad relies heavily upon his armor; without it he is completely physically untrained.

Personally I had envisioned that Kate formed the team, but I’m actually fine with Nathaniel Richards having originally formed and led the Young Avengers. It actually kinda makes sense. What I’m not sure about his him leading the team again. Here’s what we’ll do: he can rejoin and try to lead again, which could set up some drama with Kate – you said they were good friends? Maybe they have different outlooks on heroism, I don’t know.

The other thing his relationship with Cassie. We have a player for Cassie — I don’t know what they think about him being her boyfriend. I personally have no issue with it, but obviously Mank will have to agree.

Seeking to break The Avenger's mold, Finest H.O.U.R. actively recruits teenagers and college students through their non-superhero wing of average humans "The Minute Men"; many of them are considered 'role-model' archetypes -- police, military or first-responder veterans -- and seek to engage those with and without powers into helping the organization.

Secretly
This organization was established in absolute secrecy by Wilson "The Kingpin" Fisk, in association with major villains from across the globe. Finest H.O.U.R. is bankrolled by the Mafia and the Kingpin's larger criminal empire. This usually traceable bank activity is aided by laundering the money through crypto currencies traded to the U.S. Federal reserve for U.S. Dollars, that are then "donated by anonymous patriots" to the Finest HOUR self-fund webpages. The entire organization is build around a structure of professional criminals, mercenaries and supervillians; these recognizable forces of evil are insulated from detection by projects like "The Minute Men", which uses the average American citizen to do most of the footwork for the organization.
