The receipt has carbon copies that say something other than a delivery, like an authorization to pledge it's employees to take a day off to walk 50 kilometers in a Furry walk-a-thon, and making it a highly publicized news story.

Though many see her as just a pretty face due to her former career as a model, Kanon is actually quite intelligent and works to be recognized for her hard work and determination rather than just because she is nice to look at.
Bio: Kanon is the daughter of construction workers, and was born and raised in the city of Sapporo in Hokkaido Prefecture. Though blue collar and working class, her family always did everything they could to try and ensure Kanon was happy and had plenty of opportunities in front of her. She was always near the top of her class in school, and loved to learn, always seeking out books and information on anything she could get her hands on. In particular, she found food and music from all around the world fascinating, feeling it was an interesting way to examine cultures and how people adapted to the lifestyles where they were from. She was particularly fond of French cuisine and American music. She wanted to become a sushi chef, in part to get in touch with her own native culture, but was forced to leave that dream behind early due to the frequent discrimination based on gender in that field.

When she was ten, she was scouted by an agent from a modeling agency, and her parents, wanting to ensure she had a good life, quickly signed her up for many modeling gigs. She was good at it, with a pretty smile and a charming personality, and continued to model throughout school. With her modeling career significantly picking up as she neared the end of high school, she decided not to attend university and pursue a career in modeling now that she was an adult, and continued to excel. She relocated several times for work, moving to Kyoto, Osaka and finally Tokyo to continue her career. However, as she got older and more self aware and mature, she began to be disenfranchised with the modeling business. She was friends with her agent, who always respected her and was one of her preferred confidants, but found that as a whole the business was shallow and promoted only beauty rather than any actual personality or talents. And she always remembered how smart she was, and how much she loved to learn and express herself. Eventually, the pressures of simply being pretty with little concern for who she was as a person got to be to much for her, and she retired from modeling to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a sushi chef, no matter what anyone said.

She looked for a job, and was rejected time and time again from the many sushi chef jobs. She for one had no experience in the field, and two was rejected because she was a woman. However, she eventually managed to locate a small, dingy little restaurant in the subways with only an old man named Akira running it. She stopped by one day to eat, and was surprised to find it was the best sushi she had ever had, and returned the next day to ask for a job. The man, Akira, refused. "I don't need help," he said, "especially not from some ditzy former model getting to big for her britches like you." Kanon thought about leaving and not returning, but decided she had had enough of constantly being rejected and continued to return. She always bought a meal, and got a job at a small cafe down the street as a barista to earn money while she tried to convince Akira. Eventually, after weeks of trying, Akira relented. He gave her a time, early in the morning before most of the city was awake, and told her if she wasnt on time she would lose this one chance to study under him. She was early. And continued to be early every day. She quit the first barista job, and continued to learn with Akira. He was gruff, often mean even, but knowledgeable. But unlike the others, he care little about the fact that she was a woman, and only cared that his sushi continued to be made to perfection. And this Kanon could appreciate. So, we've heard a few ideas for pranks for the upcoming prank war. More are definitely welcome. Part of the fun will be getting this ragtag group of misfits to work together and not prank each other for the sake of it.

Also, I'm still trying to decide on something, and I'll probably announce it in my next post. What is it, you ask? Why, the fact that the prank war began when the Starbucks leader said it did. I'm thinking Starbucks left a prank for them on the way out, just to say, "It's on." Still trying to decide what the prank would be. Not the biggest yet. That will come. But something to get things started. Ideas are welcome, otherwise I'll come up with something.

Bio: Miyoko Yuki is a succubus, driven from her forest home by rowdy teenagers and industrious old men. Rather than succumb to the boredom of modern day life, she chose to become a Starbucks Barista. However she became dissatisfied with Starbucks and quit to work for Coffee Shop. Her decision became final after she saw Kappa Chino for the first time outside of Coffee Shop. His/Her/It's ability to resist her feminine wiles only made her desire Kappa Chino more.
