Sorority-centric vs. fraternity-centric casual sex?

So from what I've heard, the issue with fraternities these days is that although many fraternities invite a girl to their fraternity house to have sex with whichever guys there she's interested in, there are some fraternities that misuse this arrangement; and the fact that they outnumber her; to enable boys in that fraternity to sexually assault the same girls.

So why not gender-flip the arrangement? Why isn't it the norm for sororities to just invite a boy to their sorority house instead, so that the ones who are interested in him can take turns having sex with him, and that if he tries to sexually assault one who isn't, they outnumber him enough to prevent him from doing so? Sure, there's still the risk that they sexually assault him instead, but it's a lower one, not just because males have a reputation, among both sexes, for being less picky, and in turn less likely to be unwilling in the first place, but also because their reasons for saying no are typically limited to the risk of child support bills or STDs, which if he's accepting said invitation to the sorority house in the first place, that's obviously not enough to deter him. So what's the hesitation here?

If I'm to take your OP literally, my interpretation for why one thing happens but another doesn't, is because simply put- most men can handle themselves amongst the ladies. A typical woman isn't going to physically overpower your typical man. And because for biological males, its almost impossible to overcome a refractory period. They can get an erection via involuntary stimulation but chances are, they're not going to ejaculate more than once within the span of one to three hours, depending on their age and how fit they are, how good their body objectively performs. That limits how useful a strapping young stud of a man is to a group of ladies, if they all want action within a short time frame, unless they're content with just foreplay.

Women can orgasm many times but men are one shot and that's it for half the day or longer. If it wasn't this way for the men of our species, the seed wouldn't be strong enough to cause impregnation to occur for the women who can get pregnant via sexual intercourse.

I used to think so too, but now I'm not so sure. It isn't stupid strictly speaking, if there is enough class and standards to it.

At its core, its just a club function that's meant for prestige or networking. It might pay off for your career prospects, if you make friends during college and you're daring enough to participate in what other people do in terms of community events and so on. If you have connections, or stand out in good ways amongst peers- you can really benefit and have more of a shot at advancing and etc.

Its said that no ruler anyways, rules alone. You need to spread influence and to be influenced to get the good things in life, but of course it can be done in good or bad ways. If you do everything alone, college will help you less than it otherwise might. Still think it is mostly a rip off though, given how expensive it is and how long it takes.

I am not a fan of this behavior. STD's and possible pregnancies aside, just the peer pressure is normalizing "sex for status" and the girls are not respected for having slept with that many boys. The Boys can brag and preen.

Sororities and fraternities should just be banned. On paper, they are supposed to be good organizations but in practice they are just toxic environments whose membership primarily consists of bullies, alcoholics, drug addicts, rapists, and people with just generally trashy personalities.
