I must admit I have never heard the term literalism used to describe a method of historical interpretation.
Either way though, any interpretation of history does not support the existence of a Red-Brown Alliance in any real significant form. A few writers proposed the idea, most notably Francis Parker Yockey, but even amongst those sorts all of them were still anti-communists who just saw a temporary alliance as the most efficient way to destroy the liberal west and replace it.
