Ardus Kaine was a Human male native to the Outer Rim world of Sartinaynian in the Braxant sector. The son of the successful trader Vilardo Kaine, Ardus had all of his father's ambitions foisted upon him, despite a character oriented more towards co-operation than a place under the spotlight from where to dictate.Despite not particularly agreeing with his father, he worked hard to please him, eventually becoming involved in politics.
[tab=60]A strong character and noted public speaker, Kaine was involved in the politics and administration of the Galactic Republic, becoming one of the earliest, most ardent supporters of Naboo Senator Palpatine, following him even after the declaration of a New Order. His leadership and organizational skills came to the fore in the Imperial Period, during which Kaine played a key role in administrative reform and ensuring the Grand Army of the Republic's support for the new regime. Kaine also participated in the formation of the Commission for the Preservation of the New Order, after concerns about the administration of Imperial Intelligence, viewing it as something his father would have been proud of. Unfortunately Kaine quickly became disillusioned with the COMPNOR project, and the larger order of the Empire as a whole, whom he had come to see as a feuding, bureaucratic mess which crushed societies in its gears. His loyalty nevertheless stood firm, as he believed that it was still the best option for the Galaxy, superior in most aspects to the regimes of old.
[Tab=60]As a reward for his loyal and productive years of service to the Galactic Empire, Kaine was appointed governor of several worlds, and later a moff. Following Wilhuff Tarkin's death at the Battle of Yavin, he became Grand Moff of Oversector Outer. Kaine was filled with woe: he wanted to be near the Imperial Center, watching the political scenario closely and participating in it, not car aside in the farthest regions of the Empire, trying to repair the damage left by Tarkin's death. Nevertheless, this position offered him many comforts which he welcomed with open arms, namely an extremely important and influential position, and a large fleet, the crown of which was one of the few Executor-class dreadnoughts built.
In 4 ABY, Palpatine was killed during a Rebel attack on the second Death Star at Endor, and the Empire was thrown into a state of uncertainty. In previous times, the loss of a hero would have been met with great sorrow by Kaine, but he has changed much since the early days of politics, and this is an opportunity to gain power. Though he once again reaffirmed his allegiance to the New Order and the Empire as a whole, his heart tempted him with the possibility of a new empire under his rule. Doubftul and uncertain, he now plots his next move into the uncertain future.

Name: Brabous the Hutt
Age: 550
Short Bio:Brabous Rasajaac Gaura was born on the planet of Nal Hutta into the prestigious Kajidic of Rasajaac. He was the firstborn son of Keeba the Hutt, the current Kajidii, or lord, of the Rasajaac at that time. He was quickly chosen to be Keeba's successor, therefore being the inheritor of his father's vast criminal empire. Groomed for this burdensome job from when was just a Huttlet, Brabous soon became accustomed with crime and violence. Even as a child he showed no remorse for the many heinous crimes he had already committed, such as nearly genociding an entire species as reprisal for an attempted slave revolt. His father applauded such actions, and showered his son with many expensive gifts. Brabous would be heavily pampered, and he would develop a voracious appetite, and grew bloated at an early age. He also grew addicted to smoking from hookah pipes, as well as alcohol and gambling. He liked to indulge himself with recreational narcotics as well. Such was normal for Hutts. Despite his father's unconditional love for him, the power hungry Brabous would eventually grow tired of waiting for him to die and would secretly poison his father along with some of his siblings. No one was safe from Brabous's ambition, not even his own family. After these murders, he would assume his late father's title of Kajidii of Rasajaac, and would immediately be thrusted into the leading position of his clan at the young age of 135. Despite what he had previously believed, Brabous quickly learned that the Rasajaac was not the strongest of the Hutt clans, quite the opposite. Kajidics like Desilijic and Besadii were much more wealthy, powerful, and influential than his much smaller clan. The Rasajaac weren't even allowed on the Hutt High Council, which was reserved only for the five most prestigious Hutt clans. All this angered Brabous, and almost immediately he began numerous military campaigns against neighboring Kajidics, as he robbed ships, weapons, drugs, slaves, among other merchandise, and even planets from them, all in an effort to quickly increase the prestige and territorial size of his clan. The Hutt High Council ordered that Brabous cease such attacks against other Hutts, which he reluctantly complied with, lest start trouble with the strongest Kajidics. Brabous then knew that he would need powerful allies in order protect his own clan from his now many enemies, as well as to simply survive in the turbulent Hutt space. And so he would contact Gardulla the Hutt, one of the leaders of clan Besadii, one of the strongest Hutt clans. Brabous would pledge his Kajidic's loyalty to the Besadii, and offered to aid Gardulla in her conflict with Jabba the Hutt and his Desilijic clan. He would initially participate openly in this gang war, but would fall out with Gardulla and would soon become only a nominal ally of the Besadii, and only paid lip service to them. Brabous would then try to gain the loyalty of Jabba, who he saw as more influential, and would have his spies report directly to Jabba and inform him of any intel that they had on Besadii movements and plans. During the Desilijic-Besadii gang war, Brabous, while officially aligned with the Besadii, was in fact truly on the side of Jabba. Brabous had taken careful note of Jabba's quick rise to power and the immense power he held, and sought him out as an ally. Brabous's help was one of the many reasons that Jabba won the conflict, and he would thank Brabous by donating him some nearly obolsete weaponry and spaceships to him, as well as creating an official alliance with the Rasajaac. Brabous and Jabba would then become friends, despite Brabous once being one of Jabba's enemies. Cunning and deceitfulness is truly prided and cherished among Hutts. Brabous had gained a truly powerful ally in Jabba, which he thought was an improvement over Gardulla and the declining Besadii clan. With the acquisition of these new ships and weapons, Brabous had grown the Rasajaac military quite larger. With this new weaponry, and with Jabba as his ally, he felt confident to throw his weight around in Hutt space again, as well as abroad. He would harass other Hutt clans and conquer planets and moons on the fringes of Hutt space, and the Republic, not wanting any trouble with the powerful Hutts, could do little about it. However Brabous knew when to stop, and he made sure not to annex too much new territory. Brabous had now greatly increased the territorial size, galactic influence, and military capabilities of his clan all in a relatively a short amount of time. He would pretty much serve as an operative of the Desilijic in his sector of space, though often being labeled as a mere vassal of Jabba greatly offended Brabous. Despite this, there was little he could do at the moment, and served Jabba faithfully. Brabous dreamt of getting his clan on the Hutt High Council, but now wasn't the right time to try to do so. The Hutt would then focus on expanding his criminal enterprise some more in the mean time.
The Rasajaac, being one of the more militaristic of the Hutt families, had always valued the slave industry as their primary source of income. The many planets that the Rasajaacs had conquered would have populations sold into slavery, providing much income for the Hutts in the process. Brabous would take a particular liking to breeding, and he sought to create the 'perfect slave' of each species that he had enslaved. Brabous advertised that his clan sold the most hardworking and physically fit slaves, and they were prized in the slaving industry. He often competed with the Zygerrian Slave Empire in the Outer Rim, and was not afraid to use violence against them to protect his assets. Brabous often hired pirates to steal or just destroy Zygerrian assets, in an effort to crush them as opposition. The hutt also had his hands in other criminal industries, such as smuggling and gambling. He openly participated in the lucrative spice trade, but also sold and traded other kinds of drugs. Because of Brabous's own gambling addiction, he made sure that his clan had some of the best casinos in the galaxy. During the Clone Wars, since his Zygerrian and Droid-manufactering rivals were on the side of the Separatists, he along with his ally Jabba aligned themselves with the Republic, though only out of convenience. Though Brabous would allow Separatist agents to operate in his territory, if they paid him some money in return. Instead of participating directly in the conflict, Brabous would exploit the chaos in order to empower his clan. He would annex some more fringe planets, since the Republic and CIS were preoccupied, and he would often salvage broken or damaged war machines and have them repaired to employ them in his military. Despite being an old fashioned Hutt and preferring slaves to droids, he liked acquiring CIS battle droids into his army, seeing them as both deadly and efficient. All of them would be reprogramed and they would continue to function after the droid shutdown during Order 66. Brabous also would often capture and enslave many refugees during the war that tried to flee the violence. After the war, when the Galactic Empire was proclaimed, Brabous became increasingly uneasy. He liked exploiting the corruption and weakness of the Republic, but this more centralized Empire could threaten his criminal empire and clan. Some of his fears were appeased when the Empire legalized slavery, but he was still suspicious. He was still unhappy with the Empire, as its crackdown on smuggling hurt his business. But he knew that getting along with the Empire would serve him better in the long run. During the Galactic Civil War, he was a nominal ally of the Empire. His ships were often harassed by the Rebellion, and he liked to torture and execute or enslave any rebel sympathizer/agent found in his clan's territory as a result. When Jabba the Hutt was killed, Brabous, who had been building up his clan's power over centuries, attempted to fill Jabba's place amongst the massive power vacuum. He used his large and advanced large military to beat off rival Hutt families and other criminal organizations. Because he had been Jabba's friend and ally for quite some time, Brabous holds great influence in the Desilijic clan and wit Jabba's successors. He guaranteed a spot for himself and his clan on the Hutt High Council after replacing the declining Qunaalac clan. Brabous's power seemingly only grows as he expands his influence and power throughout Hutt space and into the rest of the galaxy. He seeks to maintain Hutt supremacy in the criminal underground, using any means necessary. With the fall of Palpatine and the fracturing of the Empire, the galaxy is ripe with strife and chaos once again. Brabous is ready to exploit said chaos for his personal enrichment, and expand his Kajidic and criminal enterprise even further.

Grunger was an Imperial Admiral who specialised in dealing with the unknown; prior to his appointment as Grand Admiral in 2 BBY, he served as the commander of the Sixth Sector Army for several decades prior, his position as a high-ranking Corellian Defense Force officer securing his command over the Sixth Sector Army.
Grunger did not see action during the Clone Wars, nor the campaigns afterwards; rather, he distinguished himself through hunting down Jedi within his assigned Oversector, occasionally leading small expeditions out into the Unknown Regions, developing a somewhat unique and unorthodox tactical doctrine, focused on flexibility and adaptability compared to standard Imperial doctrine. He was named a Grand Admiral in 2 BBY, and thereafter served as the head of the Anaxes War College until 4 BBY, when he was dispatched to investigate reports of unknown 'pale-skinned marauders' near Gargon before the Battle of Endor.
After the Battle of Endor, in the chaos, Grunger did what any sane commander would do, and gathered all the assets he could find to him, unsure of the situation.

Makati's service as a Special Tactics trooper resulted in his slow rise up the ranks of the Imperial military, becoming an Admiral in the 18th Sector Army by 2 BBY when he was promoted to Grand Admiral. His service thereafter was unremarkable, and he was chosen by Palpatine as the commander of the second Death Star's marine complement, in case the Rebels should attempt an infiltration of the station itself to destroy it.
Makati, thus, was in the hangars of the Death Star II when the Rebels destroyed the station, and was able to escape to his Star Destroyer, the Steadfast, and departed for Coruscant immediately with the news of the Imperial defeat.

Description: The Triumvirate is a loose political alliance of the Grand Admirals Grunger and Makati and the newly-promoted Grand Admiral Zsinj within the Imperial Remnant, forming what one might call the more 'traditional' faction within the Imperial Remnant.
Backstory: The Triumvirate is a very young alliance, formed in the days and weeks after the death of the Emperor at the Battle of Endor during the political chaos and upheaval that swept the Empire. In the initial chaos, Grand Admiral Makati was dispatched to the Corporate Sector and the other Imperial vassals in the Galactic Northeast to secure their continued loyalty. On the return journey, Makati's Star Destroyer was stopped by the Grand Moff of Oversector 10, Zsinj, who invited the Grand Admiral to discuss what had transpired on Imperial Center during Makati's absence.
The situation on Imperial Center had changed; it had become a political knife-fight. Makati was a soldier, not a politician; he was a man who followed orders, to the spirit and the letter. Knowing that he likely would not last long if he returned to Coruscant, Makati instead remained with Zsinj, who also contacted Grand Admiral Grunger. The two Grand Admirals and Grand Moff created a bold plan, to restore the Empire to greatness. Makati returned to Coruscant, seemingly the honest soldier he always was, while Makati and Grunger joined their fleets and traveled to Corellia to put down Grand Admiral Pitta.
Pitta was easily dealt with by the two Grand Admirals, while Makati found himself allied with Isard in the Coruscant power struggle, seemingly duped into supporting her against Grand Admiral Tigellinus. The next stage of the plan was quite simple; Isard, with the assistance of an unknown benefactor that supplied her Noghri assassins for a coup against Pestage and Tigellinus.
Makati relayed the information to Grunger and Zsinj, who ordered him to go along with it, sending several units of his Raptor commandos to reinforce Makati. Zsinj alerted Tigellinus, who fled the capital, while Makati seemingly had second thoughts and alerted Pestage, also prompting him to flee back to his family's worlds. Makati linked up with Zsinj's Raptor commandos, confronting Isard on her way to imprison Pestage in the lobby of the Imperial Palace. Isard's Noghri turned on her unexpectedly, and put Makati in contact with Isard's benefector, Grand Admiral Thrawn. Assuming control of Coruscant, Makati, and his allies and supporters, set about securing first Imperial Center, and then crushing all who defied the might of the Empire...

Name: Tethaka Hedranni
Age: 43
Short Bio:
From a young age, Tethaka Hedranni was a rebellious man. He never took punishments laying down, and he was rebellious well before his teenage years. When his father was killed for being in the wrong place at the wrong time by a Jedi, Hedranni was devastated. The man who had shaped his life, the man who had been there for him when nobody else could not, the man who had given him life, was killed. The Jedi never received any punishment from his superiors, and was in fact, promoted not too long after the incident. Hedranni harbored feelings so strong in him that he took it out on others his age. He was only 12 when he was arrested for the first time, for robbing a local store at blasterpoint. He got only a slap on the wrist due to his age, and was set free not two days afterwards. Tethaka got deep into crime when he was 16, and was part of a local gang, the Blue-collars. The Blue-collars wore exactly that, and were all working class people joining up together for protection.
The Blue-collars, however, were disorganized and weak. There was no leader, with them all deciding on their next moves through direct democracy, which took a lot of time for them to all agree on something. 18 year old Hedranni saw this weakness, and decided to take power for himself. After taking over by force, along with some of his supporters, he established a fairly profitable pirate fleet, consisting of a few transport ships that were stolen from local merchants at blasterpoint, outfitted with whatever weapons they could get their hands on. Month by month, the fleet slowly grew to around 20, when the local authorities decided to take action. Two Republic corvettes were dispatched to deal with the Blue-collars, and succeeded in taking out around half of the fleet before the pirates escaped to a neighboring system. There, Hedranni bided his time until, after a few years of piracy, grew his fleet to 40 transport ships all equipped with old laser weaponry.
He returned to the Rethid system in early 19 BBY, and started pirating more ships there. All in all, after 6 years of piracy, he had gathered up quite a bit of wealth, and was very influential in the systems in which he operated. He landed back on his homeworld of Rethid, and was welcomed by 2 Jedi, who imprisoned him for his crimes. The warden of the prison, however, was corrupt, and eventually was bribed to set Hedranni free in 18 BBY. At this point, Hedranni had learned of the Empire’s rise and subsequent takeover of the Republic, and took that opportunity to seize power in his homeworld. With no Jedi due to Order 66, and the Empire’s lack of attention towards his world, he started a revolution on his homeworld, led by the Blue-collars, and took control later that year. After a duel with a stormtrooper went awry, Hedranni’s arm was blown off in the battle, and he almost bled out. Nevertheless, he still was a powerful leader, maybe even moreso due to his injuries making him seem as more of a patriot.
The Empire never sent ships to take the system back, curiously, possibly due to the lack of resources in Rethid and its surrounding systems. Hedranni never accepted a prosthetic limb for his missing one, instead carrying his A280 with a carrying strap and shooting it prone whenever he needed to fire. His power grew within his system, and when the second Death Star was destroyed, he seized upon the ensuing confusion among the Empire’s ranks to take help neighboring systems revolt against the Empire by supplying them with troops and arms. Hedranni assisted 6 star systems with 9 inhabited planets to revolt against the Empire, and created a defensive Alliance within the systems, and assimilated 30 more systems into his ranks by referendum, creating the DASSA in the process. Description: The DASSA is a faction that isn’t particularly aggressive, only seeking to add more planets to its ranks by democracy or revolution, but never force. DASSA’s military is all recruited from volunteers, and its fleet is fairly inexperienced in combat, save for the Resonator, who’s crew saw much combat during the early days of DASSA, when they helped systems revolt against the empire under a few different ships. Its small fleet is due to their policy against aggressive expansion, and their relative lack of resources compared to other fleets.
Backstory: The DASSA came about when the second Death Star was destroyed, by a system of planets on the outer fringes of the galaxy wishing to be out of the Empire's tyrannical rule. Tethaka Hedranni was an inhabitant on one of those planets and led a revolution against the small stormtrooper garrison on his home planet, Rethid, before the first Death Star was destroyed. It bided its time until the second Death Star was destroyed, and then they staged coups and revolutions in neighboring systems. Those planets joined into a defensive alliance, which later became DASSA, and had more and more systems join until 37 were in the alliance.

Now, he commands his fleet from his star ship scavenged from empty space, the Resonator, and some other ships purchased on the black market, looking for other systems to join his alliance.

Where is Rethid? I don't think that's a place I've ever heard of in Star Wars

Sorry on it.
