This explains a lot. Trump having second stage dimentia explains his spelling, speaking mishaps, and behavior...

Shit likes this makes me wonder if he’ll end up getting 25th’d should he end up winning a second term, there’s no breaks on the dementia train.

Call me old-fashioned, but I don't necessarily trust Twitter to do that. Not out of malice, just out of the kind of incompetence or mistakes that tech companies are prone to making.

You don't trust Twitter to give an accurate record of Trump's tweets if they closed his account, therefore Twitter needs to keep Trump's account open and continue to keep a record of his tweets on their site.

You don't trust them with the public record, so they need keep maintaining the public record.

And this is before we consider that twitter.com is not "the public record". You think the White House isn't making records of Trump's tweets all on their own? Come on. There's probably an army of bots copying his every tweet, even if only to catch him deleting tweets.

It's just that most of the verified users on Twitter who say terrible things are Democrats or leftists, like that guy who wanted to put kids into a woodchipper for wrongthink, so you don't care to notice the difference between normals and verifieds unless it's Trump.

Nah. If he repeatedly violates the rules, deletion is warranted.

After all it's twitters property; they can do what they want....right?

No, it's just that he's a head of state.

He also accounts for 60% of Twitter's ad-revenue because so many people flock to his tweeties every morning.

Seriously.

That kinda leaked when a disgruntled employee tried deleting his account on their last day.

We helped Trump acquire several hotels in the late 80s and early 90s, but we were best known for:

1) Underwriting the debt that KKR used in its leveraged buyout of RJR Nabsico, creating the modern private equity transaction model as we know it
2) Representing corporate raider T. Boone Pickens in many of his oil transactions in the early 1980s
3). Revolutionizing the high yield bond market, under financier Michael Milken's guidance

And we went down in a blaze of glory when Rudy Giuliani, then the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, threatened to bring a RICO Act against us.
Drexel Burnham Lambert was an American investment bank that was forced into bankruptcy in February 1990 due to its involvement in illegal activities in the junk bond market, driven by Drexel employee Michael Milken. At its height, it was a Bulge Bracket bank, as the fifth-largest investment bank in the United States.
