NEKONI!!

Quote of the Week: "A NEW STORY ON WRITING THREAD FOR HALLOWEEN!! MYSTERY MINE AVAILABLE NOW!"

RPs I do
- How do you do fellow kids? You want to see something violent? - Artemis: Deimos Trafficking League (Horror/Mature)
- Descend into the forgotten tourist traps of Florida on this transgressive RP! - The Community (Mature/Black Comedy/Slice-of-Life)

My overall account that I use for P2TM and even for international roleplaying! MNM is a mysterious and extremely dangerous dictatorship filled with supernatural oddities, demons, militarized soldiers everywhere, and a misanthropic nihilistic dictator who doesn't give a damn. It's basically if the SCP Foundation got mixed with 1984.

Israael Kashtkar: And thank you to Nekoni for giving us the fourteenth vote of the night. We can now the nations after 14 nations have voted...we've just crossed the half way point. Here they are!

Image

The audience cheers loudly as their neighbours to the East, Britonisea, has the lead at the halfway point with 67 points, receiving 39.8% of the total points available. However, hot on their heels are Izmedu - the nation which has received just as much hype throughout the lead up to the contest. Nekoni rounds off the top 3 with 57 points - not too far away from the current leaders. All is still to play for, however. We are joined by Riko Wilson in the Greenroom with Alyxhia Willis...

Riko Wilson: I am currently in the Greenroom joined by the current leader of the competition, Alyxhia Willis! The leader of the competition changed six times over the past fourteen votes. How have you been feeling?

Alyxhia Willis: Honestly, this is the scariest moment of my life! Even worse than Vha Mehlodhivestoile! All I can say is thank you all to those who have voted for me. I appreciate it, but I know all can change. I am just so...very grateful for this opportunity.

Riko Wilson: Fun fact for you all, since WorldVision Song Contest 63, Britonisea had led the scoreboard at the halfway point on five different occasions. WorldVision Song Contest 63 with 52, 64th with 64, 67th with 69, 68th with 73 and 71st with 55 - but of course, it's been nine editions since the nation's last victory. How does this make you feel?

Alyxhia Willis: Haha! Perhaps we're just used as the red herring, I guess! No, I have faith in my song and I would love to keep it up for all my fans out there. I think this edition has been wonderful with so many different songs. I appreciate the love. I would get too caught up in my emotions but thank you!

Riko Wilson: Thanks! Back to you Israael!

The camera pans around to Israael...

Israael Kashtkar: So Britonisea leads with 67 points but will that all change. Speaking of Britonisea...

Image

Israael Kashtkar: So please Xavier, we are all waiting for those 12 points! Could you give them to us, please?

OOC: Typically WV/WHF veterans or occasionally other entertainment personalities are chosen to announce the Kalosian votes. This was a special case; Karlosu had made a half-joking offhand comment about how cool it would be to be the spokesperson at WV. RTVK subsequently contacted him with the offer, which he appears to have accepted.

Axuva Today Network [ATN] Today we announce that the Axuvian Government now recognizes The Russian Language as an Official Language, Korean and English were spoken in the beginning, but there were Russians too, russians were forgotten and their language were not recognized due to the things they did in the past, but now their language is a official language of Axuva, and there will now be 3 official languages instead of two.

Host Intervention: Who won?

Postby Estogium » Mon May 20, 2019 1:28 pm

The camera then cut right back to the hosts in The Estograd, Estogium. They both stood in the middle of the stage with huge smiles on their faces. They started to speak;
Riko Wilson: Guess what, guys?

Israael Kashtkar: WORLD, WE HAVE A WINNER!

Image

Riko Wilson: Should we take a look at the scoreboard?

Israael Kashtkar: Yeah! But first, I would just like to point out that our friends from Natanya aren't on our scoreboard anymore!

Riko Wilson: Oh no!? Why is that?

Israeel Kashtkar: They broke the rules! The official statement is on the worldvision.tv website. Right...should we get on with it? Let's reveal the bottom 16!

Host Intervention: The Bottom 16

Postby Estogium » Mon May 20, 2019 1:54 pm

Image

The audience cheers as the nations that came 11th to 26th appeared on the scoreboard. Llalta was the nation that came top of the Bottom 16 nations, gaining a total of 63 points - dropping quite a few places. It shows that actually, you should take the half-time scoreboard with a pinch of salt. Finishing the night in last place is Libumelland. While they drew with the iconic Merecendi, Merecendi received a vote more than Libumelland! People in the audience started to shout the names of the nations they believe won the contest...

Israael Kashtkar: Here, we have the bottoms of the contest...

Israael looked to the right where a camera joined him. He winked at the camera and smiled as the audience whistled and cheered. Israael looked back to the front and coughed before maintaining his professionalism. Riko held his hands to his mouth, shocked by what Israael had said.
Riko Wilson: Israael! You dirty sod! Anyway, these are the nations coming 11th to 26th at the 73rd WorldVision Song Contest. I don't like to call them the bottom 16 - rather, I would like to call them the...the...nations who gave it their all 16!

Israael Kashtkar: Yeah, I guess the bottom 16 is a bit harsh. But still! Congratulations to the nations participating that came 11th to 26th. Some of your songs were absolutely amazing and we hope to see you at the next competition.

Riko Wilson: Honestly, yes! You guys are what makes WorldVision Song Contest one of the best shows in the Multiverse and I am so proud, we are so proud that you all participated. Look, it doesn't matter where you placed tonight, just know that you all were recognised for your talents - you are all winners!

Israael Kashtkar: Well, technically....

Riko Wilson: Israael, there's a place and a time for this! Right...I would like to thank all of the delegations for coming to the WorldVision Song Contest in The Estograd, Estogium - it has been an enjoyable event! I would also like to say th-

Ylinqar: Jesus - hurry up!

The camera pans to Ylinqar, the winner of the 72nd WorldVision Song Contest with a huge trophy in his hand. He looks as though he is struggling to bring it on the stage...
Riko Wilson: Oh right! Ylinqar everybody!

Israael Kashtkar: WoW! It is now time to find out the winner of the 73rd WorldVision Song Contest...

Host Intervention: 3rd to 10th REVEALED!

Postby Estogium » Mon May 20, 2019 2:15 pm

Image

The audience cheered again as they saw their nation pop up on the screen coming 9th place - the nation's best result since the 62nd WorldVision Song Contest when they placed 5th. Besen was the first nation shown to have broken the 100 point boundary with 101 points. This confirms that the winning nation has scored either 101 points or more in keeping with recent editions where nations have scored over 100 points. Polkopia - 7 time winners - and Kishrael - 4 time winners round up the top 5. Other nations that feature in the top ten include Scotatrova, making a great impact with their best placing ever and Nekoni and Talvezout who performed 1st and 2nd respectively. Todlichebujoku's entry, which had made quite a stir in the ABEN nations, placed 7th in the end. The Estogian public, however, was certainly cheering for her. Two nations remained...Britonisea and Izmedu...

Riko Wilson: Congratulations to the nations who made it into the top ten! The winner of the WorldVision Song Contest is about to be revealed...

Israael Kashtkar: The bookies predicted that the two nations left would be the two nations fighting out for victory...Izmedu and Britonisea.

Riko Wilson: Yes. Both IzaRa and Alyxhia Willis came from highly successful national finals - winning the hearts of their home audience and the international juries...But this is the final stop.

Israael Kashtkar: Who will be the new queen of the WorldVision Song Contest?

Riko Wilson: Let's find out...

Image

Israael Kashtkar: The two leaders were 22 points clear of 3rd place - with the eventual winner receiving 31 points more than 3rd place. Ooh this is so exciting!

Riko Wilson: Eeek! Right...we can announce that the winner of WorldVision Song Contest 73 is...

BRITONISEA!!
(receiving 132 points)

(IZMEDU)
(receiving 123 points)
