Is there a way to reverse the "corporal punishment" policy?

Postby The New Danish Republic » Sat May 04, 2019 7:34 am

So a while ago i got an issue which sorrounded a problem with drunken sailors and what to do with them. There was naturally an option to ignore it, aswell as an option to do something about it. The problem is the option to do something about it, went something like this,

"we need to make the sailors take breathalyzer tests, and if they fail we can always bring out the old cat 'o' nine tails"

See i thought that last part was a joke, and chose this as the breathalyzer idea sounded best to me, but it wasn't a joke. And now corporal punishment is legal in my nation. It's been months now, and i still haven't gotten an issue giving me the chance to reverse the policy. Is there actually an issue giving you the chance to revoke the policy, or will i just have to live with my nation having torture legalized forever?

Option 1 of 487 and 494 cancel it.

Don't worry, there's always a way to reverse such policies. Sometimes you just have to wait for one to come around.

Here's a handy site showing all of the policies and how they are implemented and removed:

http://www.mwq.dds.nl/ns/results/policies.html

Regarding Corporal Punishment:

1. country folk are sent to obligatory boarding schools to learn how to be civilized

Shame that I already said it before Black Ships did...
