The flag looks really simple, there there is a lot of history behind it:

The Redstone Empire had a flag consisting of a red cross, signifying the REDstone Empire, on a white background, just being blank paper. If you imagine the flag of England, you're pretty much there.
Then the flag got changed and a pile of red powder was added to the middle
The four quadrants became coloured, leaving a bit of white padding, according to newly acquired parts of the Redstone Empire: The Mazauran Empire (purple), The Dwarf Empire (blue), Trenfa (black) and the Hepmot (green).
The Auto-Red flag is based on this cross, but it is a purple cross with purple powder (signifying the Auto-Reds) with the white replaced with yellow (representing the Dos desert) and the four quadrants replaced with red (again signifying the Redstone Empire). That flag represents the first 30 years of the Auto-Reds when they were located inside the Redstone Empire.
The Auto-Red flag then got updated and included purple fractal tentacles:
Image

The flag of Cogned-Mentero has changed as well. It was originally the Auto-Red flag without the tentacles, with blue quadrants (blue is the colour of the Balesians) and the powder removed:
Image

The quadrants then became red again:
Image

Then the blank region got filed in with a continuation of the cross, forming the flag we all know and love.
Our name is the Detached Flux Empire of Cogned-Mentero. Or the Alpha Fraction of Cogned-Mentero, depending on reasons. The Alpha Fraction is part of the Detached Flux Empire, but are controlled by the same government. Formerly a part of the Flux Empire of the Auto-Reds. We, like the Auto-Reds, like technology, science, AI and research. We wish to meet them again.

Gold: Represents wealth and prosperity among the citizens, as there is a very small wealth gap among the rich and poor.

Black: Strength through the darkest of times - this was chosen as Yugobatania overthrew the former government of Yugontia in 1921 during the Yugo Uprise of 1921. In doing so, the nation went through various economic troubles and instabilities, yet they still recovered from it - hence forth the strength that comes out of the darkness. It also represents the military, as it encompasses the Golden Ring of Unity, figuratively as how the military protects the interest of the country.

White: Peace among people, through the wars and strife that come our way..

Ring: Officially known as the Golden Ring of Unity by the Yugobatanian governement, the Golden Ring represents unity among the Six Regions of Yugobatania, as each region has its own capitals and rules, run by a Regional Government, but all follow a constitution under the Supreme Government.

Polestar: The White Star, a distant far-off star that appears many times in ancient Yugobatanian art and history from our ancient ancestral Homo-sapiens, which made its prevalence into the flag.

Laurel: The laurel represents grandness, that encompasses the whole of the nation. It also represents the Grand Yugo Region, the largest of the Six Regions, and home to the Supreme Government of Yugobatania.

From my Overview factbook

The flag of the Republic of Creslonia - often referred to simply as the Creslonian flag - is the national flag of the Republic of Creslonia. It consists of a field of dark blue with a white circle in the centre with a thick dark brown outline. A white and black eight-pointed star is positioned in the middle of the circle. The flag was created when independence was declared on the 6th of July 1784.

The dark blue field represents the North Atlantic Ocean, which surrounds the country. The white circle symbolises justice and peace. The brown outline represents the nation's fertile soil. The four major cardinal directions of the star symbolise Creslonia's four provinces whilst the four smaller points symbolise how the nation projects itself internationally, whilst not overextending.

The flag of the Pan-Asiatic States, known as The Oriental Standard, is the national standard of the Pan-Asiatic States. It is composed of an 8-pronged sun surrounding a yellow ring, which is circumcentered by a yin and yang; the shining standard of Neo-Maoism.

The flag was first raised in 1991 during the Declaration of Pan-Asiatic Sovereignty, held on two occasions; in Beijing and Neo-Manila. Generally, States adapt their own flags; thus the Oriental Standard is used when there is a presence of Federal authority, such as in State of the Nation Addresses and international summits.

Color Palette

The colors of the Pan-Asiatic flag utilize a white #FFFFFF for the sun, a black #000000 for the backdrop, a golden #FFD700 and a plain red #FF0000 for the yin and yang.

Black and White

The black-and-white on the Pan-Asiatic flag represents the transparency of the State with its people. This is in sharp contrast with the white-red-and-blue standards used by Western Republics, and the palette use of the black-and-white is an act of rebellion and a reminder of secession from what Neo-Maoism considers to be farce, bourgeois republics.

Furthermore, the use of black-and-white aesthetics represents the core value of Pan-Asianism; the Theory of Orientalism. Orientalism, on account of both the writings of Edward Said and the early Pan-Asian ideologues (even modern Jucheists); classifies the world into nations which oppress and the nations which have been oppressed. Neo-Maoism calls for a transparent categorization based on a sharp dialectical analysis of the occident and the orient. The heavy use of black represents, not only the dark ages of Pan-Asiatic history, but the ideal of a region that has been outcast by modern history rising up against its oppressors.

The clean white streak used for the sun is an old Asian representation of cleanliness of mind, conservatism, and morality. The white represents the sanctity of revolution, and the riddance of the Pan-Asiatic States of what it considers 'unhealthy' to society (revisionism, globalism, despotism).

In essence, the use of black represents race and class struggle; and the continual promulgation of truth, transparency, and justice through the Pan-Asiatic States.

Golden Yellow

The golden yellow represents the cultural liberation of Asians across the world. Golden Yellow is both a respected color in the Southeast Asian region, and in the Asian region. For example, the Bruneian peoples are acquainted to the use of a plain yellow standard, whilst in China and Korea, it is a representation of affluence and royalty. However, the yellow, rather than representing Monarchic yellow, is cast upon symbols of the worker's revolution; symbolizing the 'Every Man a King' mentality which Neo-Maoism inherently harbors. Scholars of the Pan-Asiatic States often utilize this color to put-forward Federal authority as a strong and independent authority, as the cultural icons of old were, but with a people-first prevalence.

In other words, a dialectical approach to authority is taken through this irony; wherein the Pan-Asiatic States is revered as both a continuation of sovereign cultural prominence (as an antithesis to Western cultural prominence) led by a mass line of the Pan-Asiatic people. The power is no longer bestowed upon a single despot or a set of oligarchs, but rather, the people themselves; who are all equally, and individually, a powerful collective with the same prowess of a monarch-- with the same voice, prosperity, and power through the collective.

Red

The red of the Pan-Asiatic States is a reminder of the Marxist roots of the Pan-Asiatic system. Whilst steps have been undertaken by modern ideologues to fit Socialist ideological aspirations into the callings of the era towards the betterment of the overall society, masses are reminded that in all undertakings, a strong Marxist basis must be upheld; in both government and individual action.

The red utilized is a reminder too of the worldwide proletariat, and that Asia, as the Orient of the proletariat; must aid the common proletariat before serving other needs of the state. It is a historic reminder of the struggle daunted by the heroes of the working-class all across the world, which is the basis of political power too, in the Pan-Asiatic States.

Symbolism

The Sun

The Sun of the Pan-Asiatic States is an 8-pronged Sun representing the initial 8 divisions of the Pan-Asiatic States. The flag was conceptualized before the integration of Japan into the autonomy of the Pan-Asiatic States, as plans for Japan to be integrated as a Soviet Socialist Republic had been made. However, after public outcry, decisions to associate Japan as a dependent republic within the Pan-Asiatic States instead were fulfilled.

Rather than revising the 8-pronged Sun, ideologues of post-1991 Maoism instead idealize the 8 States to retain their power from a strong Federal authority; with the capital state, the Tagalog Soviet Socialist Republic (New Philippines) to be represented by the core center of the sun, as the capital state is the de facto political heart of the Federation and root source of ideological authority for all other 8 States. As Metropolitan Neo-Manila, capital of the Pan-Asiatic States in the Tagalog Soviet Socialist Republic soon became a blossoming hub of trade, more political actors became centralized for better economic management, within the Tagalog Soviet Socialist Republic. Thus, all 8 States became truly derivative through the people within the central region.

The Yin and Yang

The principle of Yin and Yang is that all things exist as inseparable and contradictory opposites, for example, female-male, dark-light and old-young. The principle, dating from the 3rd century BCE or even earlier, is a fundamental concept in Chinese philosophy and culture in general. In Taoist metaphysics, distinctions between Nice and Bad along with other dichotomous moral judgments, are perceptual, not real; so, the duality of yin and yang is an indivisible whole. In the ethics of Confucianism on the other hand, most notably in the philosophy of Dong Zhongshu (c. 2nd century BC), a moral dimension is attached to the idea of yin and yang.

The choice of the Yin and Yang as the primary symbol for the Pan-Asiatic revolution lies in the primary idea that all Asian cultures generally hold this culture of reflective morality to be valued among all else, and that it is a common trait among the Asian philosophies that reflective morality should be held a standard for emulation above all else.

Green represents the land, and blue represents the sea, together forming a pattern like islands in an ocean. Green also represents leaves, in contrast to the clear blue sky behind them when viewed from below.

Green is the colour of the government, a single 'dynasty' running from ancient times to today. While the method of electing leaders has changed, the state, the central administration, has remained the same. Blue is the colour of the people, later adopted by a lot of controversial parties in Ko-oren's history - and the country needed both colours to become what it is today.

The red half is meant to honor Aglanen's socialist revolution, particularly the blood of those heroes and martyrs who gave their lives for it. The blue represents the people of Aglanen and its history. In the middle is a star with golden rays striking through the rest of the flag and deliberately made to resemble the Sun, it represents the Aglan Party of Labor.

Altogether, the flag signifies that the APL unites the People and protects the Revolution. That the Party is the light which will guide our nation out of the darkness of the old order and into a better future.
My nation does mostly reflect my personal views.

Our nation's flag is a horizontal tricolour flag, with a coat of arms with a crown in the centre.

The green in the flag is a symbol of national sovereignty, worn by monarchs and the nation as the official colour. It's the official colour of the Ieskari Army. It also symbolises the agricultural past and the vast forests that cover the north.
The white represents peace, stability and purity. It is also the symbolic colour of the Ieskari Orthodox Church.
The blue is symbolic of the seafaring culture of the south, the plentiful fish of the sea and strength. It is the official colour of the Ieskari navy.

The coat of arms is a simple white shield, bordered by a purple outer layer. The centre is defaced with an Orthodox cross, symbolising Christianity. On the top of the flag rests a small band with two parts. A checkered pattern of red and purple is flanked by blue and green rectangular bars. The checkered red and purple pattern represents the Spiros dynasty that rules the country, as their royal standard consists of this symbol (though the royal standard is defaced with the image of a crowned lynx which is not shown on the flag). The shield also bears a crown atop it, to emphasise the nation as a monarchy.
Ieskarios is a Hellenistic-inspired nation, with a strong sense of Christianity. About me is below. Flag made by Eiran
I'm 26 years old from Canada, a Roman Catholic, a monarchist (and British royalist) and history buff.
-Pro: Monarchism, Christianity, socialism, British Commonwealth

Quaeg's current flag was introduced to mark the end of an era. Quaeg's capital city is on a western coast, so imagery of the sun setting into the sea is prevalent in Quaegian art and poetry. After the revolution in 1701, the new flag was introduced with the sunset symbolising the death of an era marked by corruption and the beginning of a Quaeg ruled by the people, for the people.
So, this is where I write a signature. I'll replace this with something else later.
Quaeg's just a nation trying to make its way in the world. We're out-of-the-way, pleasant and overthrew the king in a violent revolt. Come and visit, everyone's welcome!
Copy and paste this in your sig if you passed biology and know it's completely irrelevent to your opinions on gender and sex
Overview. Just FYI, The flag's a sunset, not a sunrise, and the Quaeg is pronounced Kw-ay-g.

The flag in the canton is the flag of Ujang, where Tsukicchiria is a part of as an Ujangian Commonwealth. The flag is coloured red, gold and black. Red stands for the blood and spirit of Ujangians, Gold stands for the riches as well as the Emperor, and Black stands for the courage of the Ujangians. However, it can also be interpreted as follows:

Our blood (red) and bravery (black), protects the Federation (gold).

As an Ujangian Commonwealth, the flag is the Ujangian flag at its canton, while the rest is generally some patterns with the state's emblem. For Tsukicchiria, the flag is red, gold, white and green, red symbolizes the people, gold symbolizes the riches as well as wheat as agriculture, white for purity and the clouds, while green stands for the fields and natures of Tsukicchiria. On the flag is the Coat of Arms of Tsukicchiria.
