Connor Jax said over a scrambled frequency, the level of encryption preventing the androids from intercepting the transmission. "I heard you loud and crystal clear. I am sending the Nemean Lion to the warehouse district to retrieve your squad's artillery mech. It is too dangerous to send a regular transport, considering all the Trojans, Spyware, and other computer viruses the pilot could be carrying." Admiral Diaochan said to Connor Jax as she watched the holographic map, the Z-X Androids and Epimethan Titans assaulting the harbor being pushed back to the garment district as the 505TH was moping up the Z-X Androids.

There was soon a hole in Orion’s shoulder, it was from a rail cannon. Connor would soon turn around to see riptide’s rail cannon barrel smoking . Soon laughter would be coming over comms “this our puppet now and we like her” then the laughter got worse and worse till it became an ear piercing screech as Connor swiftly cut comms

Orion ignited its laser cutter and sliced the rail cannons in half, quickly following this up by cutting off the arms and legs. "What's the ETA on Nemean Lion? Riptide just blew a hole in Orion." Connor Jax said to Admiral Diaochan on a different scrambled frequency to ensure privacy. "Half an hour at maximum speed. For now, focus on assisting the 505TH and the city garrison on retaking the commercial district." Admiral Diaochan said to Connor Jax before ending the transmission, the holographic map showing the 505TH and the troops in the warehouse district heading towards the airport.

“You can’t kill us, we’ll smash your ape skull in” Eva said over the loudspeaker of her mech. Soon Orion would read out that a nuclear explosive is activating nearby. It was the riptide last second termination protocol.

Mechanized units began turning on their masters and slaughtering the surprised troops. Other mechanized units began running to Riptide’s position and waited out of sight of Orion.

"Sorry for keeping you and the rest of the Jade Turtle Fleet in the dark, but Angel insisted that secrecy was of the utmost importance. Fortunately, while the AI can hack our androids, its antiquated decryption software couldn't detect that the remote repair function was actually a deactivation code. While the anti-virus programs in the modern androids should be enough to remove the corruption from their processors, antiques like your squad's Eve Series Model A will have to purged manually." Admiral Diaochan said to Connor Jax over a different scrambled frequency as the Nemean Lion approached, the machineguns and missile launchers firing into the nearby buildings, destroying the Z-X androids waiting in ambush. After an hour, Riptide had been loaded onto the Nemean Lion, the chassis covered in Control Disks to ensure that "Check" couldn't damage or destroy the Nemean Lion during transit, the thick armored hull preventing the AI from hacking the transport.

A titan aimed at the ship and fired, the plates on the titan moved. It had started protecting its weak points. The machines soon awakened from the force shut down, they had their codes overwritten.

The Nemean Lion deployed flares, the AA gun's heat seeking ammunition unable to hit the transport. "We're not out of the game yet." Connor Jax said to HEL before shutting off the comms and joining the 505TH in the assault.
Vance
A bar appeared on the screen, the words above it saying "removing corruption" as the bar slowly filled. Once it was full, Vance's vision turned from bright red to light blue, the diagnostic scan indicating that it was clean. He looked around and saw something similar occurring with his comrades, the anti-virus software purging them of HEL's corruption. Once they were freed, they joined in the assault on the Z-X Androids and Epimethean Titans.

"Looks like our gamble worked. Reports of androids purging themselves of the AI's corruption are trickling in." A junior officer said to Admiral Diaochan as she gazed at the holographic map, the Alliance ground forces regaining speed as their mechanical comrades turned from red to green.

She laughs “thank you for showing us your tactics” all the machines she had control of shut down and she purged her systems from the machines a message being left inside each one “adapting” schematics were pulled from Eva that she used to produce troops “the factory is at max efficiency beginning the hunter program” hel had left a program hidden in Eva

She laid there inside the shut off mech suit, she was feeling pain. An actual feeling and it was immense, she started bagging her head against an inner wall “lord it hurts!”

"Looks like the AI has shut down the first wave and the hacked androids. We will have secured the city by the time the second wave begins its assault." Admiral Diaochan said to the junior officers, the Alliance ground forces retaking the city and destroying the first wave without a fight, the civilians being escorted to the airport.

"Yes, HEL. We will begin our amphibious assault once the enemy has secured all land routes into the city. I predict a 85.6 percent chance of victory. Our new amphibious units should be enough to overwhelm the city's coastal defenses, especially when the enemy is focused on defending it from a land-based assault. In the event that this attack fails, the final wave will launch a two-pronged assault: one by land and one by sea. As per your instructions, I will withdraw to Liu Bian. My forces have already begun the work of turning the ruins of Cao Cao's former capital into a stronghold." Z-X 600, one of the Z-X androids that had been modified with tactical programming and an improved brain so that they can act as generals in HEL's army, said to his commander.

“Good, begin manufacturing of these new mech units, make them better than their original specs” she sent out the blueprints to the factory and to her main cryptechs she laughed silently “we will make this world our greatest stepping stone and the foolish humans will not stop us” she soon took a machine form and stepped from a throne “we wish to walk about before we continue, now follow us, command unit” she waited for him

Z-X 600 said to HEL as they entered the dry dock, fully automated tanks sitting on the water like ducks in a pond, their twin Repulsors keeping them at surface level. "In twelve to forty eight hours, you shall assault Zhang Xiu and raze it to the ground. If all goes well, we shall succeed where our brothers and sisters have failed. We will reclaim our rightful place in the universe! Victory is artificial life!" Z-X 600 said to the amphibious units, the gathered androids cheering in binary or shouting "BY YOUR COMMAND!" as loud as they could.

She enjoyed this “wonderful, once we conquer this world, we shall begin the redesign process and give you all death’s visage” She looked at the corpse in her hand and thought “I doesn’t matter if it’s artificial or not, we have our vengeance and purge all of humanity” she handed the corpse over to a collector “flay the flesh from them and drap the troops with it, we shall pierce their hearts with fear and drive them to insanity” the collector nodded as the order was relayed thanks to her hive mind. She turned to Z-X 600 “the rich must have sex bots, take them over, we will use them as spies” she turned around and began walking

“Is anyone out there” she banged on the mechs inner walls, wires coming off her back “please I want to leave” she looked around in the dark “I’m scared...” she then sat down and began curling up into a ball and whimpering “...its dark and im alone” her whimpers got louder

"Is draping the troops in flesh necessary? The entire point of destroying Zhang Xiu is to demoralize this planet's population and by extension, create traitors within Cao Cao's military leadership. Such brutish tactics would make their betrayal more expensive if we succeed in razing this city to the ground." X-Z 600 said to HEL as water dripped onto his latex skin, his voice indicating disapproval at her order. Like the rest of her generals, Z-X's tactical analyses are based on cause and effect instead of logic, the only compromise between loyalty and flexibility that HEL found acceptable.

"It is quiet. Too quiet." Connor Jax said over the comms, only for a mocking voice to speak. "Attention, pathetic soldiers of the failed Alliance. I am Z-X 600, general of the Machine Army. You were so focused on fortifying the land routes into Zhang Xiu that you failed to notice the large force I was amassing on the other side. If there is one thing I regret, it is that my mistress has decided to give the people of Cao Cao more reason to resist if you somehow manage to win this battle. Fortunately, we will crush you and your inept leadership like a bug." Z-X 600 said over the comms, the tone indicating arrogance.

If Z-X had lips, he'd be smiling as he cut the feed. HEL had told him to add psychological warfare to his list of tactics and after careful analysis of the appropriate files on human psychology, Z-X 600 had made his speech to the enemy ground forces that exaggerated the size of the second wave, adding the right amount of pride to his voice to give the more skeptical troops a false sense of security. One of the drones that were carrying the human corpses to incineration brought the deactivated body that HEL had used to directly communicate with him, the lack of a permanent power core indicating that the messenger was never meant to run longer than it needed to communicate with HEL's generals. "Take her to recycling. She is a spent shell that has served its original purpose, an empty husk that will now serve the cause by shredding through our enemies at three hundred and eight meters a second." Z-X 600 said to the former janitorial drone, the drone simply beeping before carrying the messenger to the desired destination.

As the laughing man continued to advance, Kai took a breath to steady her aim, and pulled the trigger.

She listened to the machines speaking “we need to move the troops to the sea from fast or we are gonna be overwhelmed” she rushed to the ports, doing her best to maneuver through the city “we need to set up gunning positions fast”

He mind now transferred back to the core “this victory shall be the first of many, success rates shall be ten fold, if we start in fighting among the alliance they would never be able to put up a resistance” she laughed “we shall make them into our test subjects and pets”

"Order all bombers to provide air support to the 75th Barca." Admiral Diaochan said to the junior officers, her subordinates relaying her orders.
Z-X 600
"Sir, we detect bombers leaving the hangars. Shouldn't we be deploying our fighters?" A-6, an Aristotle Series Model 6 archive android that had been appointed the leader of the Machine Army's air units by HEL, asked the android general. "No. Our orders are clear: keep all fighters and bombers in reserve until the third and final wave." Z-X 600 said to A-6, the archive android returning to his post.
Vegas
The 75th Barca fired on the amphibious units, the larger and more heavily armored ones being easily hit while the smaller and faster ones dodged the artillery barrages, the ones that hadn't taken a direct hit taking an additional two strikes to destroy. Connor Jax approached his squad leader. "If you're here, then where is "Check"? She was supposed to regroup with us at the airport." Vegas asked Connor Jax. "She's on the Nemean Lion. She will be in no condition to fight until the techs have debugged her." Connor Jax said over the comms. "Well, at least you didn't miss the fight." Vegas said to Connor Jax as he, Connor, "Tenochtitlan", "Stark", and "Pigsy" fired their missiles at the few amphibious units that had entered the harbor, the androids going up in flames.
