Manila, South East Asian Region, Republican-CUC Joint Rally, Guðni Jóhannesson Campaign Stop #13
Image
(OOC: Post done in coordination with Hastiaka)
Guðni had received word of the CUC’s offer for coalition, and graciously accepted. The two parties shared the same socially conservative ideologies, so Guðni was willing to join forces with the CUC. He campaigned in Manila, one of the CUC’s core cities, where CUC representatives were present at the rally.

“People of Manila, it is my pleasure to announce that the Republican party and the Christian Unity Caucus will be forming a coalition following the election. Our two parties have the same goals and motivations, we both seek to preserve the concept of religion and faith within not just christianity, but every religion out there. We must strive to preserve the beauty of religion and culture in the world. Without religion, a society becomes nihilistic. Without religion, a society will become void of morals. It is what gives us hope, and the radical Southpaws efforts to eradicate religion are truly horrifying. We will make sure people keep their faith.

With that being said, there will be zero, and I repeat, ZERO tolerance for religious supremacy or radical terrorism. Neither the Republican party nor the CUC advocate the superiority of any one religion over the other. All religions of the world, from Christianity to Hinduism to Islam will be in safe hands. All creeds, religions, and ethnic groups will be encouraged even, to promote their beautiful cultural identities. Tolerance is the key to keeping the United Earth together, not eradication of culture, but tolerance.

We have received the news of the perpetrator of the Shanghai terrorist attack, I will not say his name, ever. All I can say to we will not rest until every single terrorist on the United Earth is brought to justice. I will personally oversee the creation of a specific division of the military solely dedicated to anti-terrorism. They will be deployed and bring down all the terrorist cells. The death penalty is important for these people to be brought to justice. If they are not killed in the most painful possible ways, it will only encourage others to do the same. We will not stand calmly as innocent civilians die at the hands of humanity’s worst.”

Place aux Huiles, Marseille
Diego Drake, Deltaist Party

Image

“Friends, as the election draws near I ask once again for your support,” Diego said from the stage. He could barely see the crowd, with the glare of lights bearing down on him. He could here them though. He’d been speaking for some time and he paused to cough away from his microphone. “Excuse me,” he said smiling at the crowd. He quickly drew a hip flask, raising light laughter from the audience. He took a brief swig before returning the vessel to its pocket. “Thirsty work, this politics business. Hard work too. Work, perhaps too hard for some.” He paused and looked around at the crowd, as if looking for inspiration. “Those thugs in the Neo-Fascist Party for example,” he chuckled. “It seems inconceivable that such individuals could form a party let alone and campaign, but stranger things have happened.”
Diego plucked a copy of Marcel Leroy’s latest speech. He laughed briefly before addressing the audience, “I mean really? Can you believe this? He is a caricature. According to him politicians bring up unimportant issues. I agree this may happen with politicians of his calibre. But then he goes on to list some of these issues that he deems, unimportant.” Diego shook his head incredulously, “Representation, the environment, Technology for goodness sake! I’m astounded! Technology is key to helping us change world for the better. Human history is defined more by the advancement of technology than almost anything else. Surely, any sensible individual could not mean these things? Friends I would dwell more on these fascist thugs, but I believe the decency of humanity will see them out in the polls. As for Leroy’s message to my party leader about a conference in China, I would like to say on Mr Kommenous’ behalf, no, non.”
Before I leave you all today I would like to make a few brief remarks about the Republican Party, as distasteful as that is. Not as distasteful as the Neo-Fascists I suppose. Jóhannesson’s obsession with the free market is peculiar. While we in the Deltaist don’t disagree that competition is healthy, however with a free market there are insufficient protections to support the working people. People like you. It is odd that Mr Jóhannesson accused my party of fearmongering, and then unironically tried to spread fear about our mutual opponents in the Southpaw, and Communist Parties.”
Diego smiled and lent in towards the crowd, “I personally find it quite amusing that he insists that without religion ‘there aren’t even morals. What a ludicrous statement. I contend that public morality can and has, lived independently of the church. In many cases regarding equal rights, rights for children and women, religion has had to catch up and yield to the weight of humanist public opinion. I feel Mr Jóhannesson owes an apology to all of the good decent and moral irreligious people around the world.” Diego held up his hands. “Many faiths around the world do good, particularly in caring for the needy, and I’d be the first to admit that. I will be speaking later in Rome about the Deltaist plans for local culture and religion after a meeting with the Pope. Bonne Journee Marseille, au revoir!”

Port Moresby, Oceanian Region, Guðni Jóhannesson Campaign Stop #14
Image
After the bombshell joint rally with the CUC in Manila, Guðni made his way to a much quieter venue. Port Moresby was a center for Melanesian culture. He gave his speech from the University of Port Moresby, where a large crowd, albeit smaller than the ones he’d seen in India or Eastern Europe, attended, eager to listen to what he had to say.

“Thank you, citizens of Port Moresby. Melanesian culture is truly beautiful. It needs all the protection and preservation it can get. I promise that the people of Melanesia and the Pacific as whole shall retain their proud seafaring and mapping traditions. I will make it my mission, that all of the world’s traditions and customs are retained. The people of the Pacific will have an ally as their leader, they will not be forced to assimilate and eradicate their cultural identity.

We need to take a firm stand against radical terrorism. The separatist attack in East Asia shocked and horrified me… we cannot let this happen ever again. I have made it very clear that I will oversee the formation of a military division specifically dedicated to counterterrorism. What happened in Shanghai cannot be forgiven, and we will never forget it. Ever. Terrorists and separatists be warned, I will eradicate you doing everything possible in my power, whether we secure the majority or not. The United Earth should remain a stable and democratic society. Humans should be our number one priority, and the danger these terrorists pose to innocent humans is horrible.

Any and everyone who is responsible for these attacks deserves nothing better than death. Only death will deter the evil scum in this world. The death penalty must be brought back, and I will make sure that it is brought back. It doesn’t matter which region you are in, which religion you are, and what you do. If you are a terrorist that kills innocent civilians, you will get death.

What we need to protect is the free market. A free economy is essential to a democratic society, and we will not fall into the childish propaganda of socialism and communism. A safety net has to exist, but Deltaists advocate a safety net large enough to stop innovation from happening. We will protect innovation and healthy competition, but we will also break up monopolies and allow small businesses to rise. A market is not truly free if a handful of oligarchs control all the world’s money, but we will do everything in our power to make sure all competition is healthy. The childish ideals of the Communists and Southpaws are not feasible, and will result in an economic collapse.

We also need to stop pollution. I will make sure we take necessary measures, through the free market, to encourage privately owned entities to innovate and find new ways to preserve the wonderful planet. Port Moresby is located on the coast of the beautiful Coral Sea. It would be disastrous to you the people of Port Moresby if it were to become littered with plastic bags and whatnot. A full push will be made to encourage private companies to take more measures in preventing pollution and making bio-decomposable materials. Thank you.”

The World Reporter

Phillippe Doin

There will not be much reporting today of the elections, since it is Easter! Easter is truly a holiday where we can all bond together as citizens of the United Earth and put aside all of our political differences and beliefs. Happy Easter to you and your families and good luck to our election candidates!

The election draws near on April 25th, so make sure that you get to the polls! It is necessary to vote so that our democracy is kept healthy and working. Unfortunately, as a reporter and a writer I am not permitted to say which party I support and will be voting for. Results will be announced the following day, so our volunteer counters will be extremely busy overnight.

Brisbane, Oceanian Region, Guðni Jóhannesson Campaign Stop #15
Image
Guðni was finally in Australia, the main continent in the Oceanian region. He chose Brisbane specifically knowing it was one of the more conservative cities on the continent, and a great opportunity to get his base fired up and ready to vote. Before the rally however, he took a tour of the city’s stunning beaches, and spoke with marine biologists on the preservation of the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Australia. Guðni then made his way to King George Square, where he had his rally in front of Brisbane’s famous clock tower city hall.

“Hello, Brisbane, and thank you for having me. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the beach here in Brisbane, and I spoke to many marine biologists discussing how we can preserve the Great Barrier Reef. The reef is one of the 7 wonders of the natural world, and it is important that we work with the groups and companies whose mission is preservation of the reef. This reef is really the pride of your continent.

The people of the world deserve to be safe from the global threat of terrorism. I have made it explicitly clear that terrorism will be fought against. I will make sure to set up a specific military division dedicated to fighting terrorism. We will not stand down while innocent civilians are being killed. We will fight the evils of global terrorism, and we will not stop fighting until every single terrorist is brought to justice! And by justice, I mean nothing short of the death penalty!

The people also deserve to control their own economy. We have a wide range of parties in this election, but think for a second what they really mean. The Southpaws and Communists want to take control of the economy for the government. They will only have corrupt bureaucrats and politicians running the economy. The Deltaists have common sense, at least, but their main concern is mostly related to the size of the economic safety net. While the Deltaists at least respect a free market, their proposed policies will end up giving people no motivation to work or innovate. This will create the same brain drain that they claim is bad. We need government intervention in economics only, and only to break up monopolies and protect worker’s rights. Thank you Brisbane!” The crowd cheered as Guðni walked into the crowd, shaking hands with his supporters.

Phnom Penh, South East Asia region
Silver Pagoda
James Leonardo Kommenous

Mr Kommenous was heading out of the silver Pagoda after just finishing being part of the ceremony at the temple. Dressed in a simple cotton shirt and some light tan pants he was intending to be interviewed by a world wide news outlet. "Mr Kommenous" a young sharp looking man shouted as he climbed up the stairs putting out his hand to shake hands. "It is a pleasure to finally meet you Mr Kommenous. Please you said you wanted to interview in the gardens of the Silver Pagoda." James put out his hand gave the man a handshake to which he looked over to the gardens.

"Yes I did shall we head over now? Mr...?" James questioned as he walked over to the beautiful gardens of the Silver Pagoda, taking his time and putting his hands inside his pocket he would give a simple nod to the people that walked past him as left the steps. "John Nixon, sir. Now I have been told that I am free to answer any questions that I may have I just want to make sure that you are still okay for that?"

"Yes I am. I believe that a politician should be able to answer any question no matter how risky that question is." James said as he lowered himself down onto one of the benches in the garden. The Camera crew that had accompanied Nixon quickly set up with a camera facing James and John. "We are ready to record." One of the aids stated as a red light flicked on.

"So Mr Kommenous, the first question we should ask you is what are you doing here in the Silver Pagoda in Phnom Penh?" John asked as he pulled out a small note pad and began reading over some notes he had made before the interview. James sat himself up and answered with "I think that all politicians no matter who they are have a certain responsibility to understand the religions and cultures that they are effectively representing. Although I am not a Buddhist I think it is important to understand and appreciative a religion of nearly half a billion people." John quickly jotted down something in his notebook as he looked back at one of the questions he had wrote.

"Yes of course. Next what do you make of the comments of Mr Jóhannesson when saying that you need a dictionary?" James quickly had a chuckle to himself before returning to answer the question.

"Then a implore both Jóhannesson and the people of the world to look back at his speech in Moscow were he directly refers to an Economy without government interference the words 'no government interference' comes to mind. Not only that, Jóhannesson has yet to exactly state what his level of government intervention would be so far he has only said one word on the issue 'limited'" James stops himself and gives a quotation symbol to the camera as he said the final word. "For us, what we want is limited. But we have time and time again said that our intervention will be protecting workers rights to strike, form unions, a decent wage and to work in safe conditions with appropriate working hours. Also on the subject of Mr Jóhannesson it speaks about our fear mongering and yet we are just stating fact meanwhile the man himself speaks about how we wish to control the economy and the people. If Jóhannesson is so against fear mongering why does he do it to us, the southpaws in fact every party. This is something that even my deputy party leader Mr Drake talked about in his speech. I think in general Mr Jóhannesson should be careful how speaks and make sure he does not contradict himself and he also stop taking a leaf out the Deltaist hand book when it comes to deciding his policies."

"Well that was something interesting." John again wrote down in his handbook. He looked up at a James giving him a small nod as he manoeuvred himself on his bench to get into a more comfortable position. "Mr Kommenous how do you feel about Feng Liang Tian comments in court the other day and with the call for him to be executed?" James also manoeuvred himself pulling his leg up so it is rest on his other leg.

"I believe he should not be executed for one very simple reason. He is so afraid to go to prison. I can see through his facade and I see a man who wants to die so he can be made a martyr. He talks at length about how he would convert prisoners but to that I say he will be put into a dark hole were all terrorists belong. Feng Liang Tian is so afraid that he will be forgot that he will be sent to jail to live out the rest of his days a coward for not giving his life for this supposed cause, simply executing him will make him a martyr to the Liberators of the East and those that seek to use violence in achieving their aims. To that I will not be part of."

"A strong answer Mr Kommenous. Finally you and Mr Jóhannesson speak of this safety net. What is exactly is your safety net?" Nixon asked as he put away his notebook.

"If we come to power our safety net will be making sure no one lives in abject poverty. We will give everyone the access to food and clean safe drinking water no matter what. We will also make sure that all children have the access to free education as well. Our safety net will be simply so people now what is they loose their jobs or can no longer work that they will not go hungry or that their children will be forced to work. Our safety net will be to make sure that we never see some scenes like what happened in Ethiopia, or China, or Japan. That is what we will work towards as the Deltaist party and as a party I wish to state that tonight at a rally here in Phnom Penh I will be announcing one the Deltaist key policies if we are elected. Although not that I have said this I am sure Mr Jóhannesson will be waiting to hear what I have to say and see if he can't copy it." James finished as a small grin came across his face

"That is something I also wished to ask also. The polls have been released and in quite a few regions you have been leading the polls. What has that done to you and your party?" John said as he leaned himself forward.

"Not much. Other then our message is resonating with the people and that is important. We wish to make sure that our message is coming across that we only have the best intentions at heart. For this I can only say to the people thank you for putting your trust in me and that your trust will not be wrongly used."

Tehran, Middle East-Caucuses Region, Guðni Jóhannesson Campaign Stop #16
Image
Guðni’s first campaign event in the deeply conservative Middle East-Caucuses Region was in the historic Persian city of Tehran. He would tap into the currently ignored votes based in the region, starting with Persia.

“Hello, Tehran. I want to start by saying how beautiful this ancient city is. Tehran is indeed, one of the oldest cities in the world, and serves as a constant reminder of what humanity has achieved. This is the cultural preservation that we want to have on United Earth. We will make sure that your cultures are preserved. We will make sure that all religions, cultures, and ethnicities on Earth are preserved. We will strongly oppose any assimilation attempts in parliament, and it really surprises me that there are parties out there advocating for such things.

We will also make sure that there is no religious supremacy. Recently, the Republican party has announced the decision to form a coalition with the CUC after elections. We not tolerate any religious supremacy, and all religions will be protected under us, from Islam to Christianity to Buddhism to Hinduism. We will make sure that religious supremacy is not tolerated on the United Earth. The main thing that the Republican party and the CUC agree on is tolerance. We will tolerate every religion on this planet, and we have stressed enough about how important faith is. We will be working with the CUC and make sure there are programs for young people to get involved with their local religious organizations, whether it may be a church, mosque, synagogue, or temple. I have stressed enough about how societies devolve into nihilism where there is an utter absence of religion, and we will make sure that such a thing doesn’t happen.

Another thing we will make sure to do is reduce taxation. High taxes to absolutely nothing but benefit the politicians and bureaucrats that they go to. They may claim that high taxes are put to use for the workers, but really, have any of you ever benefited financially when taxed the hell out?” The crowd laughed. “High taxes are not useful, government like to claim that they are being put to use for education, helping the poor, welfare, and all the feel good stuff, but we know well where that money will end up. In the old Soviet days, the communist system imposed massive taxes on the people, but wasn’t it funny that people in the government ended up having nicer cars, better housing, and less financial problems?

The protection of the free market cannot be stressed enough as well. The Deltaists try to claim that my free market talk is “radical” but really, is it radical? I have always advocated for government intervention ONLY to break up monopolies and protect workers. It seems like the Deltaist politicians want an opportunity to make more money and have greater control of the economy, the same thing they accuse me of doing, ironic, right?” As Guðni finished his speech, the crowd clapped and cheered. Guðni walked off stage and prepared for his next campaign stop.

Piazza San Pietro, Rome
Diego Drake, Deltaist Party

“Did you have a productive meeting with his Holiness, Mr Drake?” Diego looked up from his vanilla and peach to the reporter standing over him, blocking the warm Italian sunshine. Diego nodded, smiling and gesturing to a seat beside his table.
“What exactly did you discuss?”
“I’ll leave that between myself and his holiness the Pope,” Diego said licking his ice cream.
“Perhaps you have time to give us an insight into what you mentioned in Marseille? About local culture?”
Diego dabbed his mouth delicately with a napkin before responding.
“The Deltaist party, if elected, will introduce a strong institution of federalism within the new United Earth government. We believe that local people know how to manage local affairs. Cultural and Religious legislation will be left at the regional level, this will allow people in the regions to have far greater oversight over the management of their own, language, religions and history. While our opponents have paid lip service to local religions and cultures, we in the Deltaist party will help guarantee such protections by delegating these issues to regional assemblies.”
“How will those institutions exactly be protected Mr Drake?”
“Well naturally this will be codified in an earth wide constitution that my friend Mr Kommenous will be unveiling before the election.”
The reporter looked up from her notebook, “Can you not elaborate?”
Image
“I’m afraid not,” Diego said. “Mr Kommenous won’t forgive me if I steal his thunder.”
“Ok, so do you have any remarks concerning the Republican’s latest speech. Mr Jóhannesson has been on quite the whirlwind tour?”
Diego sighed before licking his ice-cream thoughtfully. “What bothers me, is his insistence on grouping our party in with the Communists and the hard left. That would be like grouping his Republicans in with the Vaulkists or Neo-Fascists. And you know, I don’t want to do that, that would be disingenuous and also very rude. I want to engage on policy. So I will say this. His delusions on the free market are unfortunate. Without proper regulation, like we are proposing in the Deltaists, you cannot protect workers rights. I feel as though Mr. Jóhannesson is really just trotting out the same arguments again and again. Which is a shame” Diego looked down at his phone and scrolled before nodding. “Apologies, I was just checking that I don’t straw man him. I’m just interested which society he believes to have ‘devolved into nihilism.’ If one does not believe in an afterlife as such, then one is far more likely to find life far dearer and more important. If he could direct me to an example of such a society where this has taken place I’d be greatful. His inability to engage with what I and my party stand for is reflective of what his party presents to the electorate. Dead dogma. Briefly returning to regulating the economy. In order to protect the environment, we cannot deregulate and wash our hands of private enterprise. His fearmongering about high taxes is just that.
“How exactly will you be protecting the environment?” the reporter said turning to the cameraman who was trying to fan himself, while holding the camera with both hands.
“I’m so glad you asked. We will place funding into R&D for green energy projects. Solar power and wind energy are great, however by investigating how we can master the tides to generate energy. This would help particularly island areas like Japan or the British Isles. Furthermore, we will ensure that private industry is regulated so as to prevent excessive use of coal as a fuel. We will be looking to transferring the majority of power production to greener, or at least carbon free fuels. We will likely use natural gas and nuclear power in the short term while we transition the world economy to a greener one. Companies that don’t fall in line after a grace period will face sanctions, money raised from these fines will be reinvested in green energy. This is going to be important, to prevent the planet’s temperature from rising. Climate change is already affecting regions of our planet, causing droughts in Africa and violent typhoon conditions in South Asia. These regulations will help protect people, the habitats of animals and ensure our business and technology firms can thrive into the future of humanity.”

The Deltaist New Deal

In front of a huge gathering of people James Leonardo Kommenous had took to the stage to present a shinning beacon of a Deltaist government. Right throughout the day Detlaist media had been building up to this moment. In Phnom Penh an almost sea of blue had gathered in the capital far and wide most chanting the phrase "Forward for Change, Forward for Earth." with many carrying flags and pictures of the Deltaist party. As the lights shun brightly on James he took his position a huge screen had been placed behind him. "Good Evening and I would like to say welcome to perhaps one of the most important moments in human history. As today would be the day that I announce a massive policy for the Deltaist party. This is not only a huge policy for our party but for the entire human race. Ladies and Gentlemen of the world is gives me perhaps the greatest pleasure to announce that if the Deltaist party is elected to power to this earth's first general election. We will make a new United Earth Constitution that will change the face of the earth forever." A huge applause occurred as the crowd was whipped up into a tad bit of a frenzy. "This Constitution will do the following; firstly it will protect the individual rights of people, their right to their own culture, language and religion. It will protect the democracy of this earth by ingraining in the very foundations of this government, by outlining the roles of the prime minister so he will never become a despot. To protecting the Independence and democracy of the regional assemblies that we wish to create. To fixing term lengths. This Constitution will also make it so that governments will legally be binding to protect every citizen right to vote in fair and democratic election by guaranteeing that." Another resounding cheer flushed out James's speech as the screen behind him lit up with the Deltaist party flag. "This Constitution will also make is so that elector boundaries as well as the respective amount of seats will be decided by a non-political Committee. The separation of powers will also be a core principle of this new Constitution with the dividing of the executive, legislative and Judaical powers so a dictator or demagogue can never raise to take power and restrict the freedoms and liberty of the people of Earth."

"People of Phnom Penh, People of the United Earth. This is the Deltaist's new deal, this is our landmark policy. Getting rid of the old systems and replacing them democratic procedures of a new age. This was basis of why the Deltaist party began many years ago. We fought against a fascist and dictatorial regime, we were there when the provisional government was set up and for this the first democratic election of a united earth we wish to fulfil the dreams of the father and founder of our party Clement Attlee. Who strove to make a democracy in a world control by a few and did so to his dying breath. It is a gracious and noble honor to be the one to announce this constitution as it is the work of nearly 70 years of Deltaist party efforts and if elected we will see it through to the very end. This is what we are, we are Deltaists, we are the change that this world wants and needs for we are the only who truly wish to see the world change. If there is one thing that we will see through no matter what and to which no other party has talked about. The need for concrete laws to protect Democracy which has been under minded in the past 100 years. Ladies and Gentlemen the party is committed to achieving the aims of a true and democracy as we go into a new age of technology and society we need a party which reflects this and the only one that does that is the Deltaist party. Thank you for having me the past few days Phnom Penh you truly have been amazing city to visit, Thank you."

"Hello, people of Sao Paulo!"

Cheering and shouts of "HUMANITY UNITED"

"The Republicans campaign has been mostly 'Southpaws this.... and Southpaws that.....' but they continue to spread lies, while they think I want a state-owned, I have stated many times I don't and I'll do it again, I DON'T! I also don't want to erase cultures, I want to unite them and bring down the discriminatory borders. Also, they say they want to deal with pollution by letting private companies take the lead in that, but in reality they'll just pollute more and pay government officials to lie. THIS IS WHY WE NEED GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS!"

"Some people say our government is corrupt, but the true corruption is the BIG BUSINESSES!'"

Thousands cheer as he walks off the stage.

Tehran Airport, Guðni Jóhannesson’s Campaign Plane
As Guðni got ready to fly to Dubai, he was approached by a reporter that was part of the press entourage following his campaign. The reporter walked up and asked permission for an interview regarding the opposition’s latest statements.

“Mr. Jóhannesson’s, may I have a quick interview regarding Mr. Kommenous’ lates remarks?”

“Sure” Guðni replied

“Alright, we’re live in 3… 2.. 1… Hello, this is World News, I am here interviewing Republican Party Leader Guðni Jóhannesson. Mr. Jóhannesson, how do you feel about Diego Drake saying you group his party with the far left?”

“I never grouped the Deltaists with the far left… I have grouped them with the left, however. They may claim to be a centrist party, but very clearly, their idea of social democracy is not centrist at all.”

The reporter smiled, and continued, “Well Mr. Jóhannesson, the polls seem to agree with you, currently, the GOP is leading in Southeast Asia, Central Europe, and India. What do you have to say about this?”

“Not much, other than these regions are full of cultures and traditions. They share the same Republican values that we do, and therefore, they come out and vote for us, plain and simple. Our message of preservation is resonating with these people, as it should.”

“Mr. Kommenous has said in his recent speech in Phnom Penh that his party is the only one so far that has protected democracy. Would you like to respond to that claim?”

“Well, I don’t know where he’s getting his facts from, because so far, every party in this race and advocated democracy, except the Neo-Fascists, and you know how they are.” He said with a chuckle.

“The Deltaists have also revealed their plans for a constitution, do you have anything to comment on that?”

“I don’t know how exactly he’ll be getting his party specifically more votes that way. I think every party believes in the same stuff he listed in their constitution, he’s basically just spoken everyone’s mind, except of course, the Neo-Fascists again. Furthermore, I do not believe a constitution should be politicized, and therefore, in order to approve a constitution, there must be a unanimous vote in parliament. Yes, every, single, seat, must vote for it. This isn’t a bill, it’s the future of Earth, and therefore, there should be no politics here.”

“Your fellow Republican Party ember Donald Trump has recently lost his wife and youngest son to a plane crash, do you have any words of condolences?”

“Yes, it was very sad, and I sincerely, with heartfelt concern, pray for my friend Donald and his family. What he is going through is horrible, and I personally send him my deepest regards and condolences.”

“Another one of your fellow party members, Nike Schmidt, has talked about the rights for citizens to own firearms. Any comments?”

“I fully stand with Nike. If citizens are armed, they don’t have to suffer under a fascist government like they did not too long ago. The right to bear arms is a core pillar of democracy, and it must be protected.”

“If the Republican Party had to draft its own constitution, what would it be?”

“Basically everything Kommenous said. Like I said, he’s not really gaining any votes for his party, since his proposed constitution is basically what everyone except the Neo-Fascists want.”

“Thank you Mr. Jóhannesson”

Lima,
South American Region
Green Campaign Event

Another continent another town hall they say. Ertan was hoping to get a large number of votes in the South American region, so he hoped the town hall would go well.

An older man, clearly of Asian descent, was the first person to step up to the microphone, "Mr. Berek how does the Green Party feel about the recent comments from Fen-"

Ertan cut the man off, nearly jumping out of his chair in the process, "I'm going to stop you right there. That monster. He does not deserve the respect a name entails, and we should do everything in our power to not allow his name to come out of our lips. So, as long as you don't say his name, please continue."

"Ah, ok, well then," The man started, somewhat taken aback by being cut off, "How does the Green Party feel about the recent comments made by him and the protests in reaction to his words?"

"The Greens still stand opposed to the death penalty. I've said before that I feel that the death penalty is an extremely overemotional reaction and we can see the proof in the protests going on in Shanghai right now. Think for a second which sounds worst, dying or living. Now, think with a critical mind which one is worst.

If he's put down, he probably thinks he's going to be rewarded, either in heaven or in his next life depending on which he believes, meanwhile on Earth he'll be remembered by his cause as a hero and martyr.

If he's kept alive in solidarity confinement he'll be forced to live every day of the rest of his life without any human communication, without music, without other people, without his culture, without food unless you count the slush we feed prisoners, without any knowledge of the outside world, without the ability to be human, all while slowly going insane.

If you ask me the latter is by far the worst option."

A middle age woman was the next one up, "How do the Greens feel about the recent announcements from the Republicans, CUC, and Deltaist Parties?"

"As for the Deltaist New Deal, well I'd need to see their constitution in full to make a proper decision about it. I'm a fan of most of the things he said; I think a large part of the world is. I'm not a fan of a few things he said, fixed term limits in particular. Term limits are a rather weak way to root out corruption, not to mention it harms popular and effective legislators. He also implied that a one-world electoral district would be impossible under the constitution and given that that is a key part of my parties agenda, I'd be against that if it is the case.

As for the Republican-CUC Coalition, well the Greens weren't considering forming a government with either party due to their shared social conservatism and the near laissez-faireism of the Republicans, so good for them I guess. I am worried about the comments Mr. Jóhannesson made during the announcement about religion.

I don't know how I could ever trust someone who says they would lead a government with zero tolerance for religious supremacy right after implying that he thinks irreligious people are void of morals. If that isn't religious supremacy in an of itself, I don't know what it."

After a few more questions the town hall had finished off, Ertan walking into the crowd and thanked as many of them as he could for being there.

Frederij De Klair at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Brasilia

The crowd that Frederij attracted was almost as large as the one in Kinshasa, as many were interested to hear his preaching of the Bible. In fact, his Christian fervour is so strong that many say that his religious preaching was 'only second to his socialist orating'.

"Good afternoon, people of Brasilia. I have come here to preach the word of God himself, to declare a new world and finally end the rule of greed and sin in our world, for satanist capitalists have been ruling it with their avarice and wickedness, for they desecrate the word of God, as they hold the Bible in their hand and do nothing more than mock it with the destruction of human life, the pursuit of money and hedonistic lives of which God disapproves of. Is it not a true insult to our faith that these people, many of which make up the Republican Party or the other right-wing drunkards, are actually considered our kin?! The word of God is that we must follow a life of generosity and egalitarianism, which establishes itself in the modern world as one word that the rich satanists fear: socialism. As it is said in the book of Sirach: "He who loves gold will not be justified, and he who pursues money will be led astray by it. Many have come to ruin because of gold, and their destruction has met them face to face. It is a stumbling block to those who are devoted to it, and every fool will be taken captive by it.". And so, as the Book of God has denounced the idea of loving gold, which the satanists do to a great deal, destroying entire nations in the process, as the burn the spirit of humanity itself in their tanks, bombs and drones. They enslave entire continents, and get fatter and fatter whilst millions starve. All in the pursuit of money. So what is to be done to these sinners? As James the Just says: "Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have rusted, and their rust will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up for treasure for the last days. Behold, the wages of the labourers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts. You have lived on the earth in luxury and in pleasure; you have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter.". In the book of James, it is clear what must be done: nothing less than full-on revolution! And so, we must take back what is ours, what God has given to us in the natural order, subverted by Lucifer's soldiers! We will ignore their crying, for as it is written in the book of Isaiah: "Even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood...". And so, God shall not listen to those who sacrifice children and draw out their blood en masse, or who wear all those riches stained with the blood of innocents! And so what world must we create? To quote Ecclesiastes: "It is God's gift to humankind that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all their toil.". And that is the world we must build! But who lies in our path? The terrorists who burn cities and torture men? The vultures who eat upon the meek of the Earth? But of course, there is one barrier right here, right now, that we must take down: the Republican Party and the CUC, led by the lovers of the Antichrist, by the sympathisers of Satan and by the advocates of Lucifer! These are the people who we must fight! These are the people by which the judgement of God shall fall, and they shall all burn in hell in a fiery inferno! And so, that is the word of God: to rise in revolution, and fight against the satanist rich! Thank you!"

The crowd gave Frederij a standing ovation, as Frederij was clearly red with anger at this point. Many recorded the speech and sent it to YouTube. Others were abuzz on social media about it, and some reporters stood in shock as it aired across the world.

Imelda Manalo-Ayala
Seoul, South Korea
Christian Unity Caucus Rally

The Republican Party and the Christian Unity Caucus has formed a coalition. This was a move heavily considered by Imelda Manalo-Ayala. The coalition would give the CUC an economic platform and give it a boost in the western hemisphere. In Seoul, South Korea- a large Christian minority lives here. 30% of the population of South Korea are Christian and thus here in East Asia, Manalo-Ayala wants to tap this large minority to mobilize them under the banner of the Republican-CUC Coalition.

Speaking in front of a stage, Manalo-Ayala began her speech.

"My dearest beloved, we are the precipice of deciding who will lead this world. It is our duty as citizens the world, Christian or not, to hold government accountable for its actions. We will champion human rights! We will champion the rights of the people! Civil rights shall be defended and our right to religion above all! Vote for the Christian Unity Caucus! Under the CUC we will heal the Earth, we will unify the Earth in a manner unprecedented. God has commanded us to give compassion to our neighbors and so shall we! We shall rise! Brothers and Sisters! Arise with me! Our faith teaches us to love! Abound in love and not hatred! We humans must stand united if we are to rise up. We must move not only as Christians, but as Muslims, as Hindus. We must be united! To this very day there are forces that demand an end to our faith- to religion itself. We must protect what we believe in and we must stand our ground! We must go up!"

San Francisco, North American Region
University of San Francisco
James Leonardo Kommenous

The rally in San Francisco was taking place in Negoesco Stadium just east of the main university building, who had gathered were a collection of students and workers from the city that had just finished as the speech was scheduled for just after half 6. A huge crowd had assembled, America had a strong centre-left leaning in a lot of the country and with the promises of better wages a few former right wingers wish to stand and here what the James Leonardo Kommenous had to say. As the time reached half six, speakers turned on with the song of the weight by the band coming on as James Leonardo made his way through the crowd of people making his way shaking some hands as he walked past. He crawled his way to the stage taking the microphone from the stand and standing in front of the podium to speak to the people directly. "If I am going to be honest San Francisco I feel a little bit insulted. Mr Jóhannesson has stated that the New Deal I propose would not get many votes, I feel truly insulted for he presumes that the Constitution that has been something we have been working towards for 70 years is nothing but a political sham to gain more votes. And the worst part is, is that he agrees with it. The Deltaist New Deal was our commitment towards making sure that Earth never falls back into the clutches of Tyranny that has haunted this earth for 100 years. Our commitment to defending the rights of all people. If Jóhannesson was so committed towards the same goal as us why is it he has never mentioned a single policy to protecting our democracy. Why is it that Jóhannesson talks about defending the cultures and religions of different people yet has not outlined how exactly he wishes to do just that. I have a few questions that for Mr Jóhannesson that I wishes he would answer but won't because he doesn't have anything to say on the issue. Firstly what to him is worker's rights, we Deltaist have gone to great lengths to explain were Worker's rights begin and finish so what will he be protecting exactly? Not to mention how in his Moscow speech he says he wants an economy with no intervention and yet in his Warsaw speech he goes against that policy. Secondly he states that his government intervention into the market will go as far as protecting Worker's rights and breaking up monopolies how will he defend the climate that he has vowed to protect with no intervention in pollution standards and investing in new greener technology. We need to sort out our climate as soon as we can and we can not leave up to big business to change it when it starts effecting their profit margins too much. Thirdly what is his safety net that he goes on about and why is the Deltaist party's policy on the issue to great. Actually if I think about it there is only one question I need to ask Mr Jóhannesson Where are your Policies Jóhannesson? Where are they?" A huge roar erupted from crowd with people chanting
"Where are your policies Mr Jóhannesson!" in a joking manner. Deltaist symbols and colours of Blue began to fill the field.
"We have time and time again outlined what we want for this world. Government intervention and regulation to protect not only worker's rights but consumer rights as well. We make sure there are standards for all products so no one is given unsafe and dangerous products. Not only that we will also make sure that lies and deceptions by companies are brought to justice so fair and honest markets thrive. In general the Deltaist party stand for honest work for honest reward. We make sure that bad business practices and companies that wish to subvert the people are punished for their actions of their own self greed. Our party will always stand for this that everyone is entitled to the sweat of their brow." Another cheer began as James gave a smile and nod to the people of the crowd. "People of the former United States. The Deltaist party knows that you are a diverse and culturally rich people as are the other cultures around the world. Which why we are so defiant in our stance with regards to autonomy of regions. With the regional assemblies in place they can better help the individual in local rulings instead of being a small piece in a huge global government. We will stand to protect these assemblies since these will protect the cultural and religious traditions of each people keeping languages alive. We are clear on every issue that has come our way from the economy, to autonomy of the regions to dealing with Terrorist and those that seek violence. We are the party of change the symbol of Delta we represent change. This is what this planet needs, change and honest change at that which is what we are. I was Born in Dallas, to a teacher and a electrician. I was raised in the Liverpool, Great Britain. I am not after money or power all I am after is a dream that this world can be something better. That together united but individual we can proclaim a strong and mighty planet Earth. Forward for change, Forward for Earth." After finishing James went to go shake hands with a few people in the crowd when a photograph for the times manged to capture a photo of James.

Frederij De Klair at a Nairobi Rally

Frederij and his supporters, about 50,000 or so, marched around the Nairobi city centre, in a large mass of people which had proclaimed their words to be nothing less than the end of capitalism and the full instatement of human rights all across the world.

"We are the army of the workers. We are the army of free men and women, marching against the capitalists. We will fight and resist until every single one of us is in the dust. We will emerge victorious in our triumph, for we are unstoppable! The large corporations rally against us, to defend their vast vaults of wealth, like dragons with golden scales. The right-wing, most notably the Republicans, call us childish idealists 'who will soon grow out of it' as if we're nothing more than babies! They hold the general public is so much contempt that if you could turn it into water, we'd all drown! Look at them in their ivory towers and black suits, drinking their champagne behind a curtain of power! And that is what we rally against: the opulent and affluent elite! We are the working class, and this is our call: death to capitalism! We shall not be deprived of anything anymore! We have had enough of their lavish riches, and so here, we declare a revolution! We, the people, shall take back what is ours! Our birthright, our property! Socialism shall grant us a better world, once we win the war! For we are the army of the workers, and here we stand, at the precipice of victory, to seize the factories, to seize capital, and finally live in a world with no famine, no dehydration, no pestilence and no slavery! United, we shall win! Death to capitalism!"

Dubai, Middle East Caucuses Region, Guðni Jóhannesson Campaign Stop #17
Image
Following his interview, Guðni made his way to Dubai, one of the largest cities in the Middle East Caucuses region. Dubai also happened to be one of the most advanced cities in the world, what Guðni considered a “technological wonder.” Guðni would be giving his rally to a large crowd, mostly attracted from coalition member Imelda Manalo-Ayala’s comments on Islam and religion as a whole. He finally planned to address Kommenous’ concern and reveal his policies.

“Many of you folks have seen my fellow coalition member and CUC leader Imelda Manalo-Ayala’s speech in Seoul. I fully stand by what she said. Her words should ring true in everyone’s ears! "We will champion human rights! We will champion the rights of the people! Civil rights shall be defended and our right to religion above all!” This is not compromosable, with any party at all. If a single party out there wants to reduce civil rights, I will make sure they do not pass a single bill through parliament, majority or not.

I think it is finally my time to reveal what my policies are.” The crowd cheered and clapped, waiting for this moment since the beginning of the campaign. “Deltaist Leader James Leonardo Kommenous really wants to know them, so I will reveal them today! Here in Dubai!” The crowd cheered as the GOP’s elephant logo was waved by many through signs and signboards. “First and foremost, all Earth Presidents shall have a term limit of five years, and a total of two terms. No more, no less! We want to make sure our leaders have time to get things done, while not keeping control of power like tyrants. Second, I will pass bills that will create a database of ethnic groups and religions, all of the ethnic groups on Earth will be protected! Any discrimination between ethnic groups on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, region of origin, and all else will be strictly forbidden! Third, the people that caused you to go through the pain of fascism for the last century will be brought to justice! We are not fascists however, so each and every member of the former government will have a free and fair trial, even Marcel Leroy!” The crowd chanted “Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up!” “Fourth, all citizens will have the protected right to bear arms, unless they’re on a list of former convicts and mentally unstable people. Fifth, there will be an optional prayer session in public schools for all major religions in that area. We firmly believe that religious leaders aren’t there to brainwash people, but to teach them morals. However, and to address Mr. Diego Drake’s concerns, we respect irreligious people as well, and therefore, this prayer session will be completely optional. Sixth, I will personally oversee the formation of an elite counterterrorism force, whose sole purpose is to hunt down and bring these terrorists to justice! We will not tolerate another incident like the one in Shanghai, at all! Seventh, I will pass laws preventing bureaucratic intervention on small businesses, and clearly define monopolies. These monopolies will have heavily increased taxes and debt interests, so competition remains healthy. Eighth, we will also create a committee specifically dedicated to combatting the pollution in the oceans around the world. They will talk with private companies on increased measures to protect the industry as well as the environment. In a way that will not cost much and not take any jobs. Ninth, all colleges and universities will be able to take grants from the government, in order to increase innovation, we must fund our innovation centers! And tenth, I will make sure that each and every citizen on this planet above the age of 21 has the full right to vote! Ever! Single! One! We will have voting stations in the most remote parts of the Amazon rainforest even for one person if it means that they have the opportunity to cast their vote and make their voice heard!” The crowd cheered loudly, as many more watched the live broadcast from television.

“These are the policies we advocate, I have finally made myself clear today! Here in Dubai! We will make sure each and every one of our promises are carried out! Without exception!” Guðni walked off the stage and greeted his supporters, with a bright smile.

Cairo, East Mediterranean Region, Guðni Jóhannesson Campaign Stop #17
Image
After his inspiring and fiery speech finally revealing the Republican’s policies in Dubai, Guðni made his way to Cairo, where he would be hosting a town hall and meeting his supporters from this region.

“Hello, Cairo, I would like to start this Town Hall with a few opening remarks. I have done a massive rally in Dubai, where, we finally revealed our party’s long awaited policy list. Of course, there are still many factors involved considering how the election goes and how we do, but rest assured, we will be trying our absolute best to make these happen. I also want to highlight the coalition we’ve formed with the CUC. We will make sure to strive for our common goal as a coalition, and we will make the United Earth not regret its first election, because democracy has no price. Democracy is a must. With that being said, I’d like to begin the Town Hall.”

A local Arab man walked up to the mic, “Green Party Leader Ertan Berek has shown concern about your party’s concern for irreligious people. What is your reaction?”

“Well, like I said in my Dubai speech, we completely respect irreligious people as well. I never said irreligious people are void of morals, and if my comments on religion implied that, I apologize to all those who felt that way. I simply believe a religion is important for teaching our kids and people morals, that’s all. It doesn’t matter what religion, and Mr. Berek can be assured, as a muslim, that he and his people will be safe under us, as well as any atheistic or agnostic people.”

Another man walked up, “I came here all the way from Dubai. You were amazing there, it was a wonderful rally we had over there, and I’m here specifically to ask you about you proposed tax increases on big business and monopolies, while keeping small businesses safe. Would you elaborate on that?”

“Yes, definitely. Monopolies are companies that completely control a single industry, once they start getting too powerful, we will vastly increase taxes and debt interests. This will push the company’s control in the industry down, while still not destroying the hard work that the people working there did. And before the communists come in saying they did no hard work, 3 out of 4 billionaires are self made, coming from middle class backgrounds with no real prior business legacy.”

A woman walked up to the mic, “I am a professor here in Cairo, I have a question regarding your proposed policy to give colleges government grants to increase innovation. How will you make sure that money is used for innovation and not, say, a cool new building?”

“It depends on what the “cool new building” is. If it is a laboratory that gives students a more interactive experience, it is good use of the grant. If it is, say, a fancy teacher’s lounge, then no, we will withdraw the money. The institution must state what the money will be used for in order to be eligible to get a grant.”

Before the votes were cast, Tyler decided to make one last stop in New York City, Times Square to be exact. He had a fiery speech that would definitely win him North America, now as he stood in front of thousands and millions more worldwide, he began his speech.

"Hello, New York City!!!"

He drowned out by cheering.

"We are progressing faster than we have ever, we are the most advanced we have ever been, and we are the most united we have ever been in all of human history! But today, we are presented with many problems, Global Warming, Oppression of the poor by the rich, fascists gaining power around the world, crime, terrorism, shootings, the list is endless. This world, us included, does not stand still, we are constantly changing and we are entering ones of those great jumps and we don't know what's on the other side! Now tell me, would rather do it alone???? Or united with the rest of humanity?????"

"The Universe is always expanding, just as we are, and the world is! There's no doubt about it!! And we will move with the Universe!! It may cost a lot to forward humanity and solve our problems, but we can't afford not to act!"

Millions cheer around the world and shout "HUMANITY UNITED"
