I don't think Team 3 had a graphic, though?

Nah. They're just silhouettes, so if you're not familiar with the characters' faceclaims, it makes sense.

Name: Arin Reagan / Fahcelkel
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Appearance (pics if possible):
Young Blood?: Yes
Bio:
Being vindictive was something Arin inherited from her father while growing up in more rougher neighborhoods in during her childhood. Her father was a cop but not just any cop, he's a vigilante one. When his newly befriended detective was kidnapped and murdered by a drug lord during a police investigation, Arin's father took upon himself to avenge the loss of his friend by instigating conflict with said drug lord which then instigates into a full on gang war when the drugs lords became paranoid of him being a crooked cop that worked for the rival gangs. This forced his police department to step but also allowed him more opportunities to kill the scum that took always his comrade. Every night, Arin would see her dad come home with scratches and bruises all over his worn-out smile and he would go on to tell stories of his exploits, both legal and illegal. She would always ask him why he would set fire to warehouses like an arsonist or go on a shooting spree on a criminal hideout and he would always reply "To teach them the Golden Rule."
When the city police finally put down the gang war which caused significant property damage and cost many lives, they have confiscated millions of dollars of illegals arms, contraband, and drugs. But Arin's father was done yet. With some police and civilian sympathisers, he organized a kidnapping and murder of the drug lord that killed his detective friend over a year ago. His body would be found in the same manner as the dead detective only to be fully disposed later and police chief was left wondering how someone manage to sneak him out of his cell only to kill him.
Meanwhile, Arin was transitioning into middle school and was got her first taste of bullying. She didn't like it and regularly received detention for getting into fights. Her father, on the other hand, punished her not for getting into fights but not winning them. He repeated reprimanded her for lashing out in retaliation over petty reasons. He would have to remind her that punching someone in the face is the only proper response when the other person punches her face first not when they say her clothes are 'ugly'.
Highschool gotten even worse when those bullies continued to be in her class as they started vandalizing her locker and spreading vicious rumors about her. In order to prevent her from unleashing her growing rage, her father would send her to anger management classes which saw a hint of success. But it wasn't enough to get over the bullying.
The straw that that bent Arin out of shape occurred during a Halloween party hosted by the school when she was humiliated when the costumes of her favorite superhero were ruined when the bullies dropped paint over her head. Her powers were awoken when smoke started emitting from the paper decorations which then set off the sprinkler system. The party ended early and she went soaked but with significantly less paint on her clothes. Arin only then realized her powers when she arrived home completely dry down to her underwear.
After that whole incident, Arin was told by her father that they would be going to move to San Diego since he has been transferred to a new department. She, of course, was happy now that she can get away from her tormentors and quickly came up with a idea to finally get even with her bullies. Her last day at her old high school is the day when her bullies found their cars that they so proudly boast of bleached entirely of paint and having three of the four tires melted into the cement.
When she arrived at San Diego, she was enrolled into Thomsen High School while her father became a traffic cop. Boring job but given her father's past as a vigilante killer cop, it was peaceful at least. As for Arin, she was transferred as a senior and was told by her dad not to screw up her last year in high school.
Powers:
- [Liquefaction Point Manipulation]: Arin can increase or decrease the melting point of solids such as metal through direct contact or in a 7 feet radius.
- [Saturation Temperature Manipulation]: Arin can increase or decrease the boiling point of liquids through direct contact or in a 7 feet radius.
- [Combustion Point Manipulation]: Arin can increase or decrease the lowest temperature of a substance that would ignite when mixed with air through direct contact or in a 7 feet radius.
- Still a normal human with a normal body
- She cannot manipulate the melting and boiling point of living organic material as she can only manipulate its burning point
- When an object is affected by her powers, it will melt, boil, or burn as if it is at its normal temperature and rate.
- With heavy reliance on her powers, Arin is inexperienced in defending herself against attacks
- She hides a cruelty streak inside of her out of fear of being ostracized from her own peers.
Birthday: Oct 8th
Theme song: Ready to Let Go
Favorite food: Ice Cream
Greatest fear: It's hard to tell. What does not burn, will melt and boil.

Faction Name: Thirteen Points
Faction Location/Territory: Thirteen Points Church - San Diego, CA, USAStanding as one of the few churches in California not built in the adobe style, the Thirteen Points Church is built of thirteen walls of various lengths, dark stained oak, which converge at a singular point, wherein a tower of thirteen sides, each of again different lengths, rises up thirteen stories. At the double-door entrance, just twenty feet before it, stands a three-woman statue of solid marble, white and unstained despite it never being cleaned. Inside the church is a strange setup, pews and benches situated about the central point where a podium stands, facing away from the door. Thirteen pillars hold the navy blue shingled roof up. Adjoining the building is a smaller one, likened to a garage, where a soup kitchen is operated by the Thirteen Points staff. On the roughly opposite side is another building, larger but still low with a flat roof, which has housing for forty individuals in a military cot style. It should be noted that, aside from those with the pendant of the Thirteen Points, one cannot use magic of any sort while in the church and that a large amount of wild dogs can often be seen outside it’s walls.
Tech Level: ModernThe Thirteen Points community utilizes a vast majority of modern technology to achieve it’s goals, though this line is often blurred due to the merging of Old World magical principles and modern mechanics. Any form of firearm will doubtless have one rune on it or another, whether this is to increase the weapon’s accuracy, firing rate, reliability, or to decrease noise, while the bullets themselves are sometimes engraved in order to give a minor benefit in, say, the piercing of armor, thick hide, or to negate some form of magical advantage an enemy might have. Thirteen Points hideouts and safehouses are always warded in order to give greater physical and magical protection, even at times going to the point of completely negating magical assault entirely.
Description/Lore:The Thirteen Points is an organization developed initially from the Cult of Hecate which had, in part, traveled and disbursed about the world following the Roman conquering of Greece and had, in the early 1800s, recollected themselves in the United States. Specifically, California was chosen due to it’s relative ease of travel there and due to the fact that land without gold was, relatively, cheap. Today the organization stands as a magical orphanage and safe haven, it’s agents traveling most of the continent to identify, acknowledge, and train those born with magical capabilities in the safe practice and usage of said capabilities. Primarily this is done without much consent as far as governmental authorities, nor is it done in an overt manner.
Population Size: 170
It should be noted that the Thirteen Points Church, while it holds mass on every Sunday, does not attract many parishioners nor does it perform much if even at all with the community in religious events. It holds no fundraisers and, for many, is considered an oddity as to how it continues to operate. In community involvement it does perform frequent food services and even operates a soup kitchen for homeless and helpless and even dedicates a portion of the Church to take in and care for those without a home. The Thirteen Points considers membership as being by those who have been trained under the organization and who maintain semi-regular or regular contact with the active membership. Membership is recorded down and, yearly, a meeting is held for all members at the Thirteen Points Church. Those who do not go and do not send any form of reason are often searched for and struck from the record while those who hold a reason are exempt from the meeting. The vast majority of the membership population is made up of these semi-regular members who are often away and on the move.
Army Size: 30The ‘army’, if there can be considered one, is drawn from the normal population and consists of those magi, evokers, and summoners of a level in competency where they can reasonably engage and trap a target or, rather, outright simply kill them. How this is determined is usually through a test wherein the mage travels from the Thirteen Points to the Phantom Brotherhood in order to take on contracts and perform their own combat routines. Normally a member of the Thirteen Points who is certified in this manner is gifted a necklace of the order’s symbol and is, by most accounts, usually able to fend off attacks from large enemy groups. Preferences in combat traditionally lean to those magics which are able to be concealed and explained easily, such as force-driven staffs capable of delivering bone-crushing impacts and magically augmented modern weaponry, such as pistols, knives, and clubs. For ‘home defense’ an extensive arsenal has been collected by the Thirteen Points over the centuries, all maintained.
Races: Human
Additional Info:
Name: Klêidouchos / Keeper / Pastor Charles
Age: 56
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Appearance:Standing at 6’6”, Charles draws an odd image to be sure. He is most definitely not the standard pastor of a church, not with tanned skin from being outside far too often, not from the scarred knuckles he has, no, and his eyes are a shade harder than what might be imagined. With a straight back, one would imagine that it’d be hard to phase such a person as him. His black hair holds some white streaks, as does the beard, and the man makes sure that his mustache is well-groomed to at least a reasonable degree.
Young Blood?: N
The man does most definitely prefer three piece suits, though, in addition to a pair of scuffed and scarred boots that he always seems to be wears, regardless of the place or scenario. It’s nearly impossible for him to part with those. A pair of glasses are also sometimes worn, though not always and oddly enough the man doesn’t squint when he has them off. Charles does wear the same suit when performing mass as well.
Biography:Born in California, Charles’s early life can be described as chaotic to a degree. While he was a normal kid, the beginning of his powers would burn down the family home, nearly kill his brother, and most definitely kill the family dog. Unexplained as it was, a lit cigarette on the porch was blamed for what was the first of many supernatural disasters on his family. By the time the fourth house burnt down, Charles was just fifteen years old. His parents thought he was a pyromaniac, thought he liked burning things down, thought he was a bastard and might get someone killed. His father warned him time and time again and Charles would always say he didn’t know what was happening. The reasons were various, various little angry outbursts that meant nothing and were easily forgotten, things that flared up and went off with explosions in the literal sense. The fifth time he would be kicked away and onto the streets.
Powers:
The Thirteen Points found him, brought him in, cleaned him up and kept him alive. Training was given in the controlling of what he had, something that he held close and dear, and in time he was able to go out into the world. His travels in the service of the Phantom Brotherhood brought Charles to the very edge of The Garden, something undeniably dangerous as he watched into the abyss. The young man, twenty at the time, listened to the whispers and snores of The Owl, listened to the snores of a deity of wisdom, knowledge, secrets. He found what he likely shouldn’t, something that wakes him still, still screaming like the first night. He gained information and, on his return and on the gifting of his pendant, began his own experiments in the field. Testings of new magics, mannerisms, and methods would always follow Charles’s travels across the nation as he did the duty of any good member of the community, the act of finding those who need help, those who need aid.
Eventually he would return, return to dod work at the homefront. As a member of the community, Charles worked much in the slums and poorer communities as a wonder-worker, makes addictions go away for those who wanted it, healing the wounds and cuts and gashes they have. Gunshots, stabs, internal bleeding, these were the table he worked on and, often enough, he would succeed completely. Eventually word got around that a Man of God walked the streets, that he did miracles. Some of the bastards thought that he was simply impeding them, that he wasn’t letting the people die who needed to die. A gang war might have erupted over this if Charles hadn’t preached peace before, on another of his jaunts, getting jumped. One tried to shoot, his gun jamming. One tried to stab, his movement too slow. One tried to move in far closer, to tackle. In what might have seemed like mere moments, all three were on the ground, all three with broken bones. Charles didn’t heal them.
The next day, the church was nearly set on fire. The wood simply didn’t burn and, inside, the Thirteen Points prepared their own response. A call to war would be answered in kind of course and they intended their response to be one most potent. As the gang collected outside, the members inside began to open fire with all they had, pistols and rifles from inside while the double-doors opened to reveal what was most definitely an M2 machine gun. The two trucks were blown into cheese as Charles made his own approach, a shield raised and revolver in hand. To say that most of them ran would be accurate. To say that none of them lived would be correct. The Thirteen Points earned a reputation there as a place to not be messed with whatsoever, especially when it was found that no members of that gang found healing. They furthermore earned a reputation when no-one could recall how the people died, all the spent casings were gone, and most of the bodies were found in an industrial meat factory.
Charles would go on to become the pastor of the church, preaching on the podium and overall acting as the operating leader of the Thirteen Points. He directs much of the efforts of the organization and has especially increased their involvement in the community, keeping them active with the poor especially. He has been in the position for twenty years.Limitations:
- Magus:
A master of magical powers, developed both by his long travels, ancient studies in the libraries of the Thirteen Points, the whispers of The Owl, and his own experiments, Charles is full capable in the destruction of the enemy. Whether this is through the arts of fire, the development of fireballs and vast fields of death, or through incantations to chain lightning as a whip, his is the mind that normally can kill a person. This is hampered, however, by the fact that with more power being utilized, more concentration is required and the greater chance for self inflicted harm, in addition to the fact that some magical methods require a certain set of gestures with the hands, a certain set of words, or a certain body posture in order to best utilize these things. Taking away the ability to use the hands, for instance, would greatly hamper combat abilities. In addition to this, when using oral components to inflict magic, Charles must also hear the words; sound attacks are extremely effective.
- Runic:
Charles’s best bets for methods in killing a person or stopping someone from killing him lay in his skills with runes. Normally little carvings into a solid surface, these are imbued with magical power in order to cause one effect or another, mostly in causing an effect based on the words of the rune itself. His robes are inlaid with tiny metal sheets, each carved with symbols for protection, which affect an ability that could be likened to plate armor against swords, kevlar against bullets. Carvings into rings, for instance, allow for magical shields to be evoked, giving more protection.
- Weapons:
Breaking Staff:
A 2 meter long oak rod, hexagonal, measuring approximately 2.5 centimeters, the staff is inlaid with a long winding depiction of imagery and runes associated with movement, travel, and explosions. A train running along one side to the end is constant explosion, the wood seeming to show a running image of it continuously moving into the blast. At the end, six gold semi-circles lock six golden chains, fine and as thin as cloth, which each are approximately a quarter meter in length. The Breaking Staff allows for, when activated by a small chant by the wielder, for all energy, motion, and action in progress within approximately four meters radius to be slowed. The energy within all actions is sapped, from approximately 30% to 80% taken, and is thereby stored within the staff itself. When used to strike an enemy, this energy is released in a seismic release, the pressure wave at times being able to shatter eardrums. The energy can also be released in an extremely bright flash, blinding all within range, or can be released in the form of heat, acting as a miniature sun. The amount of energy sapped from an action is dependent on the movement of personality behind it, ergo a passionate strike is far more likely to be sapped less than an impassionate assault. Bullets are extremely likely to misfire completely and, if fired, lack appreciable muzzle velocity. Most individuals move extremely slowly compared to what speed they might otherwise be walking, running, or striking at. It should be noted that the Breaking Staff does not sap the energy of movements by the wielder, nor does it assault the wielder when used.
.44 Magnum:With a snubnose barrel, the magnum Charles carries is by no means Dirty Harry’s. Nevertheless, the gunmetal is adorned with a winding pattern of runes which enables it in the vast and careful art of acceleration. Effectively, while the pistol is a snubnose, the bullet fired is moving at approximately 6 times it’s normal velocity; give or take, it flies at 7,500 ft/s, higher than that of a tank. In addition to this, Charles uses a special load for his baby, the rounds inscribed with various depictions which affect the mass of shot to the point wherein each bullet has around the mass of a hand grenade, approximately 180 grams compared to the usual 16. This combines to a deadly concoction that makes mincemeat of most body armors.
RPK-74M:Charles’s RPK can be described as remarkably neat under most terms. With a 75 round drum magazine, it holds most runes along it which allow for a greater accurate shot than what would normally be prescribed, aiding this with a directed muzzle brake that forces the barrel down instead of simply lessening recoil. It’s also relatively mobile, able to be broken-down into only a few parts such as the receiver, stock, and things of that nature.
Weaknesses:
- Mortal Chains:
Despite whatever capacities Charles might have due to his travels and trials, he is still a man. No matter what he might do, only a certain amount of power can course through his body, only a certain amount of power can be wielded by his mind. Too much power and the conduit breaks much as a wire bursts apart due to the electrical current, too much power and his body begins to suffer physical ailments and issues, his mind shattering under the strain. As such, there will always be a ceiling to exactly how much raw material for work he might use.
- Pockets Pockets:
While out and about, Charles has only a few objects on him. After all, a man can’t walk the streets with a strange rod, especially when one’s fellows decided to be stupid and expose most secrets to the world once superheroes started to prance about. As such, while attempting to stay more discreet he’s extremely limited in the arsenal he can tote around; the Breaking Staff might work as a cane, though. In far more magically aware areas or groups, this is limited even further to just a few rings and his clothing itself which, for obvious reasons, is defensive only.
- Prepare For All:
In his magic, especially in the most powerful magics, Charles must make certain preparations to be able to use that magic. This may be something as simple as drawing a circle in the ground and dropping a bit of blood to close it or something to the effect of hours-long rituals and chants in order to achieve a specific goal. Most summonings of otherworldly entities consists of this style of long term magic with greater and greater defenses and boundaries built the stronger the intended entity is. If performed incorrectly or for some if interrupted, the summoning can easily backfire to summon the wrong entity, causing a potential issue in it’s escape, or in an explosion of the disintegrating nature.
Likes: Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Tea
- Mortal Limits:
Age is a limit, as is the factors of the human condition. Charles is by no means a spring chicken, holding several injuries with various entities he’s fought and killed across the years and also being just that: old. He’s old and, despite all things, the act of roaming the country does not immediately make one a star athlete. He still has some muscle, though, just unused and mildly forgotten.
- Anti-Magic:
As can be expected for any magician, Charles is extremely vulnerable to anti-magic methods, containment principles, and dare it be said anti-magic magic spells. This is lessened, however, by a vast retinue of non-magical weapons and equipment or weapons that do not rely solely on magic to be useful, but such a thing is still highly limiting to a magus.

Young Blood?: not currently
Bio: Elijah was born to a young couple living not far from West LA. His father, Justin, is a manager for a small-time private security company, and Elijah doesn’t know much about his mother because she left him with Justin when he was four years old. Elijah’s father did his best, paying to send him to a good Pre-K and working overtime so he could raise him in a good neighborhood. Infant Eli was a spirited young child, endlessly curious and very moody, prone to tantrums and “adventures”.
One day, Elijah was in the “care” of his dad’s (now ex) girlfriend. She was not the most attentive woman and cared little for the young Eli, so she mostly let him roam around the various streets and parks they went to as he wanted so long as he was back in her care in time to bring him back to his father. One day, his ex-girlfriend had noticed that Eli has been missing for a while. She began to get nervous and looked for the young boy. Suddenly, she heard Eli give a loud shout, then the horrible noise of a car crash, and assumed the worst. However, when she rushed to the scene, she saw something she couldn’t quite believe. In front of her sitting in the middle of the street was a stunned but uninjured Elijah, arms and chest seemingly made of carbon fiber, and in front of him was a broken car with a smoking, Eli-shaped dent in the front of it.
This revelation, that his boy had super powers, consumed and worried Justin sick. Memories of the Young Blood Massacre were still fresh in the public imagination, and even though super powers may be a “gift,” to Justin they seemed to almost always be some kind of death sentence. So, Justin taught Elijah that he needed to hide his powers. This worked for a while, as childlike naïveté and trust in his father caused Eli to obey him. But when he was thirteen years old, something went wrong. His energetic but aloof personality having attracted predation, Elijah was violently assaulted by a small gang of bullies after school, one of whom was armed with a knife. What exactly happened after that isn’t quite clear despite a few witnesses, but what was clear was the results: five boys sent to the hospital, all with severe blunt force injuries, lacerations, and electrical burns, the last of which came from a new power awakened inside Eli. The police decided not to press charges as there was ample video and eyewitness evidence that Elijah was acting in self defense, but the school humiliated him by placing him under suspension for a week and forcing him to be in detention for the rest of the year. A permanent rift opened between Eli and his father after this incident as an overworked and overwhelmed Justin exploded at Eli for “being so irresponsible,” while Eli couldn’t believe that his dad seemed to care more about keeping Eli’s abilities secret than his own happiness or safety.
This pretty much brings us up to date. His powers now an open secret, Elijah has fallen in with a group of friends who respect and fear his strength as much as they share interests, even though his strained relationship with his father has caused him to become colder and more distant, and growth in his powers has caused his ego to swell. However, as the wheel of history turns and the world changes, Elijah is sure to be caught up in it somehow...
Powers:
- Super Strength: Self-explanatory. Capable of lifting up to 6001 kg of weight and producing and handling 59,000 Newton’s of force, with proper distribution and everything.
- Electrokinesis: Capable of inducing and guiding lightning and controlling electrical arcs. Can produce 2 billion volts and 400,000 amps of current, and can handle 3 billion volts and 600,000 amps without bad things happening.
- Carbon Form and Draw: Capable of making part or all of his body into different forms of carbon, such as diamond or graphene or nanotubes, and of drawing in carbon from high carbon materials or from CO or CO2 in the air to do the same. He can also use Carbon Draw to repair parts of his body damaged while in Carbon Form, up to replacing lost limbs.
Limitations (Reasons why your char can’t end the universe):
- Limits on Strength: As implied above, 6001 kg and 59000 N is the maximum Elijah can handle before buckling or breaking.
- Limits on Electrokenisis: As mentioned and outlined more specifically above, Elijah can only produce about two lighting bolts worth of electricity and can only survive taking or directing three lightning bolts worth.
- Limits on Carbon Form and Draw: While Carbon Form is instantaneous and can take any form possible, Carbon Draw takes 1 kg per second, can be suffocated by environments with a severe lack of carbon (the vacuum of space for example), and maxes out at 1000 kg of drawn material (which, including Eli’s 56 kg body mass, means he can be in control of no more than 1056 kg of collected carbon).
Weaknesses (Reasons why someone could kick their ass):
- Surprise: While Carbon Form is instantaneous, Eli’s reaction time and awareness is not. If you were to put a knife or bullet in his back before he realizes you’re going to, it wouldn’t bounce off.
- Cleavage: In certain Carbon Forms such as diamond, if an enemy were to strike a precise area of his body hard enough, Elijah would instantly shatter. This would kill him instantly: he can’t regenerate from a pile of dust or fragments. While Elijah is usually smart enough to hide these areas and place durable surfaces towards the enemy, it would not be impossible to strike him in this way.
Likes: Seafood, hugs, Japanese stuff, airplanes, humility, thunderstorms, Old Kanye.
Dislikes: Dairy, yelling, anything to do with the French, boats, boisterousness, cold weather, New Kanye.
Additional Information (Optional; remove if unused)-
Birthday: November 4th
Theme song: “Power” by Kanye West, self-proclaimed.
Favorite food: Lobster roll (Maine style, with lemon and butter).
Greatest fear: Being caged in, watching his dad get hurt and being unable to stop it, losing his friends.
EDIT 1: changed 6000 kg to 6001 kg for super strength ability/limit.

Fair point. I’ll reduce the voltage amount to 800,000 (the amount in high power lines) and the amperage to 6000 (only about three times the usual amperage of a power line). Does this sound alright?Finland SSR wrote:Arktic wrote:Name: Elijah “Eli” Carson

Heya, your app looks pretty good, but I gotta point out one thing - those numbers on your Electrokinesis ability are crazy. I know that you were trying to scale it in accordance to lightning (even though 200k amps in a bolt of lightning is almost unheard of), but, if my calculations are correct, your guy is able to take 400 thousand times more electric power than the largest nuclear plant in the US.
I'd say you should scale back on the amps. 600 is already enough to kill a man, 600 thousand is going to be mass disintegration.

Does this sound alright?Finland SSR wrote:Heya, your app looks pretty good, but I gotta point out one thing - those numbers on your Electrokinesis ability are crazy.
