I would resign the WA unless you are a delegate of a good size region. The un is always looking to make your government wasteful and weak. My economy has done much better the entire time compared to most socialist countries because market deregulation.

My nation saves money when catching minor criminals by making them pay reparations to their victims instead of imprisoning them. Prisons are built for more serious criminals and repeat offenders though. Part of the government's job in my view is to solve and punish crime.

Sounds like a great idea, although the government will have to oversee part of it. I agree that it’s stupid dumping money because of crimes that are beyond mundane and harmless. The US right now spends way too much on prisons and rehabilitation when the quick solution can be the better one.

There are Nazi countries but we both aren’t Nazis. You have many Nazi policies that are atypical to most ideologies while I have lots of Nazi policies are just normal for a socially ‘authoritarian’ state (but I still differ with them on many law enforcement issues as well as budget) but I am so economically capitalist that Hitler would hate CZH. That and the literal religious cult (but Christianity and atheism or some pagan religions are still legal and exist) keeps the cult of personality from shifting.

Chose at your own discretion. Regional affairs are to be considered but whatever makes you happier is the right move. As for the education, I wish there was an issue to subsidize private education. They can handle it very well so people can get higher quality education for lower budget impact. Healthcare is less of an important thing for the state to fund. The free market can do it by itself very well.

Prison is a weak punishment. Either inflict pain or take something or monetary value. Wasting people’s time and your own money is costly. Some prisons can pay for themselves but I consider those measures unethical (in my opinion).

Inflicting pain is a bad method of rehabilitation unless your goal is to break the convict's mind.

The stat changes are quite minor and they don't tell you about what exactly changed like issues and betas do, but you could try not answering issues for a few weeks (to give the GA time to pass some bills) and then checking your stat graphs.

Taxation is payment for the benefits of a government, of which there are a few. To get those benefits for free would be theft. However, those benefits should be limited to an efficient military, to protect us from outside threats; an efficient police system, to protect us from internal threats to our life and property; and an efficient court system to enforce the terms of voluntarily entered into contracts. Anything beyond those three should be up to the individual or to voluntarily supported charities.
