Meeting Room, Coruscant
One of the Cornerian soldiers turned to Link and Doug.
"Your plane is on board the Corona right now, in orbit. The Commodore's shuttle will be taking off soon, so we need to protect it from here. From the scale of things, I'd say it's likely at least one of the terrorists may have a MANPAD. If they shoot the shuttle out of the air, we lose the two most senior officers and probably the most powerful ship the Multiversal Union has in this universe. It'll take a while for local military and law enforcement to arrive, so we need to secure the hangars."
The marine gathered a number of other Cornerians, turning back to Doug one last time.
"You can stand there, you can go out and fight in that hectic mess without any information and probably die, or you can follow us and retake this building, starting with the hangars, then establish communication with government authorities."
The canine led his squad through several hallways, moving swiftly. As his legs moved, his upper body remained almost entirely still, as he walked in a very methodical way, trained to keep his aim steady. Despite this, the group made their way down hallways and corridors with considerable speed, the whole squad working as one unit, like clockwork. As they passed hallways, they ensured that they were clear, before moving on.
Eventually, they made their way to a large, open room with several Cornerian shuttles and one large, rectangular shuttle parked. The ceiling was dozens of meters high, and due to the lack of power, the room seemed to vanish into almost complete darkness before reaching the walls or roof. The marines quickly moved between the shuttles, looking underneath and next to them. One of them tossed a tiny drone into the air, and as it scanned, it showed the hangar's entire layout from a bird's eye view on an interface on the man's left forearm. One of the terrorists had taken up a hidden position in the rafters with a large projectile weapons of some kind.
The man approached the lead marine, showing the screen on his arm. The marine signaled for another Cornerian with a longer plasma rifle to step forward, joining the group behind one of the shuttles. The marksman positioned himself under the shuttle, placing a tiny rectangular box on a tripod next to him, and setting up his rifle. The tripod would show him the heat signature of the terrorist on the display of the Cornerian's scope, allowing him to see his target, even if the man were to have a visual cloaking device.
The marksman checked the battery and argon gas levels, before taking aim. He spotted a large, prone orange blob, and lined up the crosshairs. There was a moment of silence as the Cornerian waited for the right moment, between breathing and heartbeats, to pull the trigger.
Without warning, there was a bright flash from the barrel of the rifle, and a magnetically-contained piece of white-hot plasma cut through the air, almost instantly closing in on the terrorist's position. As soon as it came into contact with the rafters, there was a massive explosion, with a 20 meter wide fireball. A large hole was blown out of the ceiling due to secondary explosions.
Kongou analyzed the data from the brief confrontation, turning to the sniper.
"You shot the rafter exactly three feet to the man's right. Is there a reason for this?"
The Cornerian had barely gotten up from under the shuttle, responding with a slight grunt.
"It's possible that the attacks on the Multiversal Union were all coordinated with the timing of this one. If these terrorists are in contact with Venom, they might have Lylatian tech, so we can't take any chances. If he had a reflective shield, like the prototypes Star Fox and Star Wolf have, and I shot directly at him, he could have reflected it back to us and killed us; the reflective field has a radius of two and a half feet."
The commander patted the marksman on the back.
"Nice shot."
Tadayoshi, Kongou, and Marguerite boarded the flying brick, and were soon taking off into the atmosphere.
One of the Cornerian's ears twitched, and he looked to another one of the hangar entrances.
"Sounds like we've got company."
The door flew open, and bolts of flaming tibanna gas flew out towards the group, as a group of terrorists rushed into the room.

Coruscant, Jedi Temple
Jeremock found the ride in the gunship he learned was called the A9-82 Morrigan a surprisingly quiet one. Than again the ship produced any sound when it was invisible so he shouldn't be surprised that the inside was also quiet. Sitting in front of these people was an odd experience. Not too long ago they ruthlessly eliminated several armed men and women with droid like precision and behaved almost like they were droids themselves, now within the confine in the impossibly quiet ship that can also become invisible he saw them relaxing like they were taking a break from their shift.
He had a couple of small chat with them. He learned their names and their occupation, he learned that they come from a world that was ironically called Earth even though it was covered mostly in water. He learned of AEGIS to the extent they were willing to share with him on which was that they were tasked with preserving reality and advancing their people, with the technology they have he didn't doubt the second mission objective. He was also told of the MUDP that the New Republic joined and was given a crash course on not only what it was but the fact the multiverse existed and just like how it was filled with powers that were willing to establish diplomatic channels and economic deals there were others willing to conquer and destroy other nations.
Jeremock manage to get them to give him some answers on the ship he was in just to distract him from the many thoughts his mind had on the multiverse and what it holds. From the way they described the how the ship, not only can it engage against ground and air forces, but the ship can be used to carry troops, used for medical evacuation, and hold supplies. He was reminded of the LAAT gunship used by the Old Republic back in the Clone Wars and later by both the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. Even now the LAAT still sees use from many factions including by both the New Republic and First Order despite its age solely because of how dependable the aircraft is.
"We're approaching the temple grounds." The pilot told the troops. Everyone was getting prepared for the drop off. The trooper who Jeremock learned was called Kauffman looked at him as he put on his helmet to cover his dark hair. Brown eyes looking at his own blues. "Stay in the ship with Kimiko until she gives you the sign to leave with her. We need our first strike to be performed perfectly and for that to happen we need to strike at them cloak." Jeremock agreed with him.
"Once you take out the ones at the temple entrance I can guide you all through the temple." The guard told the soldiers. "I've done many patrols in the temple, I'm familiar to the layout of the building as much the Jedi who use to reside in there." He told the soldiers with the the group accepting his help. When the ship was touching down Kauffman and the others save Kimiko got up and walked to the door. When it began to open up the group shimmer as they vanish from view, exiting from the craft and entering the burning temple.
Jeremock look down at the gray metal floor of the gunship for what felt like hours until he heard Kimiko saying. "The temple entrance and lobby is clear. We can go in." He nodded as he took it his blaster and left the invisible ship. Stepping forth into the temple the guard was silent as he saw the metallic and stone debris litter the floor along with dead bodies of both innocent civilians who were visiting the temple and the terrorists wearing armor belonging to both clone and old stormtroopers.
"So what is the significance of these armor and markings?" Kauffman asked the guard. "None of the other groups are wearing these so why is thus group different." Jeremock would explain to him about the Great Jedi Purge and how the clone troopers who later became storm troopers during the reign of the Empire had the blue markings. "Ahhh, so this attack was mostly symbolic in nature. I think I understand why they picked this place to attack now." Kauffman said as he shook his head.
Jeremock looked around and saw that some of the soldiers were treating survivors of the attack while others stand close a few surviving terrorists that they captured, the men and women in arm forced on their knees with their hands restrained behind their backs. Their helmets removed so everyone can see their faces and know who it was that was heartless enough to target innocent people for an evil ideology.
"We heard that some of the survivors were taken as hostages and are being held in a room used by members of the jedi that were leaders of the Order. We also heard of wanting to plant explosives in the archives to destroy the information stored in there. You know where we can find those rooms." Jeremock nodded. "Great. Tell us where to find the Archives and you lead us to the other room."
Jeremock would quickly explain the directions on how to reach the Archieves and even give out shortcuts to the room. Once he was done giving them that information Kauffman tasked Kimiko to take a squad to the Archive to stop the terrorists from destroying the room while telling Jeremock to come with his team, the Coruscant guard didn't need to say a word as he began to sprint forward to lead the squad of soldiers through the halls of the temple.

Miria
While Polly had sought out her leak, Miria had been quick to get to taking that door down. "The light is fine.", She told Polly, despite her discomfort. "I'm just not used to it being so harsh. It's like the sun, but whiter.", She said, grunting. "Doesn't burn like the sun though."
She felt along the slim metal hinge at the bottom of the door, and eyed the two screws holding it to the wall. Her screwdriver fit, thankfully, and she wriggled her fingers, working the head into the screw's groove. The first screw was quickly pulled out, and Miria placed it by her knee, before starting to work out the second. That one was a bit harder, as the door's weight began to push down on it some, but it wasn't impossible to remove.
Behind her, the sound of hissing died down, and the air flow in the room seemed to noticeably stop. That was a relief, even if it was only a temporary solution. At the very least, they didn't have to deal with more gas while they were stuck in the room! There was something a bit odd about the pipe, however. The gash was definitely a little too big for a normal leak. There was a certain aura to the pipe, if it made sense - it didn't seem to make any sense for such a large crack to be on a pipe sealed away in that room. Even without the gash, the section of pipe seemed a bit old compared to the rest of the pipes in the room, even if it were just a small bit older.
Miria noticed none of it, however, as she'd been busy with the door. When Polly asked if she needed help, she was met with a quick "No, I'm fine!" From the girl, who was standing on her tip toes, struggling to reach the top hinge.
She stretched her arm...her fingers fumbled....her screwdriver slipped and bounced off of her head. Miria groaned, defeated, and banged her forehead against the door.
"...I'm...a little too short to reach the top."
Katya
Katya shushed Mnemosyne, though her attention remained on the ceiling. "I have a gun too, you know.", She said, already reaching into her blazer to produce her Makarov. "Whoever it is, they're on the next floor, and they'll be down this hall when they do come. We can possibly intercept them if we move fast enough. On with it, then!"
She ran forward, waving the others along. "Good job on the heads up, by the way.", She told Ammy and Issun, looking back just long enough to nod, before looking back ahead. "I suppose you're our radar, so to speak? If it is an enemy and they try to run, you keep track of them, alright?"
Next, she spoke to Marcus and Ganon. "You boys, you're strong, right? If we get attacked, I don't expect to be doing all the fighting myself. I'm not the biggest woman around, after all!"
