So i mentioned the other page about how the DUP deselected a man called Tom Smith from the upcoming council elections because he endorsed LGBT rights, and how they then endorsed a guy convicted of drink driving.,

Well now the DUP had one of their councillors sign the nomination papers for a County Antrim politician convicted of sexual assault who refused to resign

May has promised meaningful votes on:

1. Her deal, and if that vote fails,
2. Leaving with no deal, and if that vote fails,
3. Extending Article 50

And if that vote fails, or if the second vote passes, the UK is will leave with no deal.

I do not expect to be surprised if Westminster votes against leaving with a deal, against leaving with no deal, and against taking more time to get a different deal.

Have the CPS Look at the evidence; decide whether that would be enough to justify a trail if he was somebody else; and, if it is, hold a trial: if he's convicted, then consequences as for anybody else convicted of comparable offences.

Mate there's pictures of him with the girls who are now know to be sex trafficking victims and who allege he raped them, girls whose testimony effectively brought down Epstein already by causing his house to be raided and evidence corroborating their story found. He had his debts paid off by Epstein and still hangs out with the bloke.

A trial is needed, but a formality by this point.

Pictures of Andrew with the girls (presuming that that's not pictures of him doing anything illegal with them) = proof that he’s met them, that’s all: proof of having met a crime victim does not, in itself, constitute proof of having victimized them.

If the allegations are true, and Epstein was procuring under-age girls for Andrew, shouldn’t the net cash-flow more logically have been in the opposite direction? It could reasonably argued that Epstein was trying to set up Andrew as a useful contact and character-witness through this aid, or even to lure Andrew into his network, without Andrew actually having done anything illegal. Admittedly accepting that financial help without serious thinking about what might be expected in exchange wouldn’t have been the wisest of actions, but then Andrew has never been accused of being the deepest thinker of his generation. (He was, after all, the man who voluntarily married Sarah Ferguson…)

Reason for an investigation, I agree, but British law isn’t supposed to convict people just because they’ve been accused of wrong-doing… and false accusations of sexual abuse have been known to occur. Maybe the girls are telling the truth; or maybe they’re assuming that the level of contacts (and financial aid) between Andrew and their father meant that he must have been involved, and they accused him of abusing them because no actual victim had stepped forward but they didn’t want him to escape justice; or maybe they just think that he “should” have realized what was going on and have accused him out of anger that he didn’t do so…

Claiming that a trial for anybody is "just a formality" is the start of a slippery slope towards arbitrary action.

What would they do with the extra time (if vote 3 passes)?

Renegotiate? Or get the actual preparation done?

Given its one or two month extension, probably continue being very clear about meaning of Brexit.

Any extension should either be a long term (>2 years so as to allow fresh negotiations with new red lines), or to make time for referendum, otherwise its doing nothing but kicking the can further down the road.

There is no real sorting it out - either you accept EFTA/EEA (backstop) in UK or NI (if latter then accept border in Irish sea) atleast until invisible pixie border is invented, or put hard border in Ireland and hope Irish peace process isn't too fucked up. We just need to make a decision.

By sort out, I don't mean figure out a solution in the existing framework, I mean change the framework. Look at the GFA and either create a hard border, or declaring NI independent.
