Here's my progress so far. I'm definitely doing way better than my past attempts, though I would like to have an actual stable economy and a GP status.
Well, you can't always expect a quick success.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next war gets me all the regions I need, as the next one will likely be a Great War.

It's 1900 now and I control all the states I need to for the Byzantine Empire, but I just can't get into GP status. My normal plan of encouraging craftsmen in states with a lot of industry to get my industry score up isn't working. I really wanna form the Byzantine Empire. Any advice?

Find the #8 GP, normally A-H. Kick the everloving shit out of them.

Take out Italy, or just screw over any global power? That is if you can handle those war campaigns.

if you have more military power then *insert GP here*, go for a humiliation Casus Belli. if there is a GP with more industry, try and secure a state from them. if there's one with more military power, get an ally and force a Cut Down to Size on them.

I don't think I can do much to Russia with my current GP ally, the U.K. Also, Russia has a total score of 800.

I don't know what I did wrong, but Switzerland has a higher score than me in everything. Including industry, which has been my primary focus for the entire game. Maybe I have too many factories and I should've been upgrading instead of building?

Take some inspiration from the ancients and colonize the Mediterranean? Sicily first, of course, it's one of the more powerful states in the entire game.

Good news everyone!

The Human Remnant spawned in my game, they are not truly gone though they may have been for a while. Curiously Earth (pre-ftl feudal era) spawned as well along side my own custom Human state; the 'Green Peace of New Eden'. So I wonder... what happened in the distant past to have resulted in this. Really awesome that it happened

I fucking hate when that happens. Makes the game literally unplayable for me.
