Founded in 1986 as the Northstar Shopping Plaza in Kalama, today Northstar Shopping Corporation is the largest mall and shopping center operator in ViZion, operating over 300 malls, 800 shopping centers, and 3,000 strip malls domestically. It most recently added over 120 malls and 1,000 strip malls in early 2012 with the purchase of its largest competitor, Moore Property Management after the company went bankrupt.
Northstar Shopping Corporation is looking to expand globally, both in opening up new shopping locations as well as purchasing current ones. We typically have a 50/50 split of international companies and local/domestic companies filling our malls, centers, and strip malls. As such, every location we open in your nation will have a local flair specific to your country and that particular area.

What is the difference between malls, shopping centers, and strip malls?
Malls - Our largest collection of shops and restaurants, these often are multi-level or sprawling outdoor shopping and dinning locations taking up multiple city blocks and have several hundred stores, restaurants, and event locations such as bowling alleys and theaters.
Shopping Centers - These often cover a large block and may have one "big box" store to attract people to, but are nowhere near the size of a mall. Often times, these have sandwich shops and grocery stores.
Strip Malls - The smallest group, these are often a small strip of stores and restaurants that may not even stretch a full block. Many times these have mostly restaurants and minimarts, and are typically found throughout the suburbs and even in mostly residential areas.
