I'm usually an advocate for more civility in politics, but these seven gormless, backstabbing, narcissistic, principle-free blairbuggerers deserve every single piece of abuse coming to them and I hope they cry themselves to sleep every night.
Furthermore, I consider that feminism must be destroyed.

An incredibly sad day for Britain. these 7 Labour MPs leaving the party. Now it looks set that we will be doomed to a Conservative government next election, thanks to the broken First Past The Post electoral system.
We already were well on course for it, so I don't think silly overblown doomsaying is really warranted as if it's something new.

Just shows how flimsy and convenient the values you supposedly advocate for are doesn't it. If your values only hold up when they are convenient for you then they are not really values worth having and demonstrates your character.

I'll be curious how they differentiate themselves from Labour and the Lib Dems. Plus there is arguably more room for a center-right party to gain traction rather than center to center-left.

I'm in an odd position where I'd personally vote for Corbyn, but don't like who he is accountable to at the moment (specifically Momentum). As a lifelong voter for labor I'd consider voting for someone else - as unlikely as it is to make a difference in my solidly Tory constituency.

This, is exactly why they left.

It’s also why I stopped being a Labour member, having been one since I was 14 (I’m now 23), because it’s easy to go along with the crowd and sling abuse to people who disagree with you - but when it turns ugly it’s not a good feeling at all.

Personally, as a Labour supporter, voter and member, I have experienced far, far more abuse for being pro-Labour than from within Labour (with the exception of a literal handful of tribally pro-Labour but pro-Brexit people on Facebook).

But I've unfortunately had limited opportunity to really delve into the party. I spent a year attending local meetings at my previous branch, but seven months ago I moved away.

In other news I have finally renewed my membership with Labour and updated my address so I shall hopefully get to see the Rother Valley CLP up in action shortly.

They deserve it but I hope they don't get it. I cannot imagine anything more infuriating than the BBC devoting hour upon hour of coverage to them blubbering their gormless faces off about how people said mean things to them on twitter.

It's an immensely stupid move because it effectively guarantees that the Tories win the next election and probably the one after that.

In their best case scenario, the new party gets other MPs to jump ship to the effect that Corbyn is fatally undermined, they take down a leader very popular with activists, no-one volunteers to spread their message (if they're pretending to have one), the youth vote doesn't turn out, and the "successfully" re-merged party then faces electoral wipeout.

If he doesn't go, the party stays split, and the two sides constantly and publicly squabble. Both become a laughing stock, Labour loses all the swing seats, the independents lose their seats to the Lib Dems and Tories and the party faces electoral wipeout.

A group elected as Labour MPs just ensured a Tory supermajority for probably a decade. This means the Tories don't have to pander to the centre and can pursue a full-bodied scheme of gutting public services to cut taxes for the rich.

Imagine thinking that irrevocably screwing over your party and the people it represents so comprehensively at a time when there was a real chance of electoral success shouldn't make a lot of people justifiably really angry at you, and that the big scandal is that everyone's not offering you a cuddle and a biscuit.
Furthermore, I consider that feminism must be destroyed.

Hopefully those Lib Dem fuckwits in blue rosettes have some dignity left and leave for "the independent group" as soon as possible too.

I dream about Rees-Mogg taunting Boles, Rudd, Grieves, Soubry, Wollaston, Morgan, Allen and all the other shitfaces on Twitter, goading them into fucking off where they belong. It's a shame the deselections only begin next month starting with Boles being kicked out March 10th. That's a month too much.

If there's anything I agree about with the far-left trots leading Labour in real life or its Twitterati contingent, it is that these FBPE loons are hypocrites. Chuka, Leslie et al advocate for a ""People's Vote"" everywhere they go. Yet they refuse to stand in a by-election to see if the people still support their decisions.

How hypocritical. They are literally a meme of themselves.

The pampered little shits should have been deselected year or so back. If Corbyn was even a fraction as undemocratic and purge happy as Blair's lot were we wouldn't be here.

For some reason I have the mental image of Diane Abbott giggling to her herself as she expertly hacks the The Independent Group's website and takes it down.

I can't access Twitter at work. Is there any more contest through the link?

BBC broadcast a hot mic recording from the event where someone says "between this and Brexit, we're fucked" which is also quite telling.

I googled and discovered that "BAME" is for "black, asian and minority ethnic" in Britain.

Funny acronym. My first guess was "Bedford-And-Midlands (East)".

Supposedly this new political party has actually been registered as a private company, not a political party, which will allow them to not declare financial backers. Suspicious if true.

Looks like most the seats are safe to fairly-safe for Labour, so hopefully this lot will shrink the Labour vote a bit but lose their seats to the Labour candidate.

This one's a concern, though. Fucking genius. In this era of coalitions and slender majorities, just fucking hand the Tories a free seat.
