A bad deal for China. But it seems it hits Canada big time. And according to the following video which explains it, most Canadians know nothing about it. Seems the Canadian government and media have kept it hush in Canada. I would think after giving in to renegotiation NAFTA, that the Canadian government most likely thought that all trade issues with the US were solved. Seems they were wrong.
Unless things are changed it does seem Canada's economy will be deeply affected. Seems they better find customers for there products in other nations in order to fill the gap.

I hope that the UK implements identical regulations, especially when it comes to steel and vehicle procurement. We don't need BMW and Audi police cars.

Sticking it to your friends is always common sense, right?I hope that the UK implements identical regulations, especially when it comes to steel and vehicle procurement. We don't need BMW and Audi police cars.
So what are the British police going to buy?

Or even better the "US+Allies" preference rules would be changed to "US+Actual Friends" so they aren't forking over money to a bunch of quack dictatorships and so on but can still buy shit from Japan, Europe, Canada and stuff.
Before this order the "Made in the US" rules applied to over half of humanity.

Nations have no friends, only interests.
Plenty British-made cars to choose from.
Considering how many BMW X5's, BMW 5 series, Audis A6 and Q7s, Volvo V90s and Mercedes Sprinters/Vitos the British police has in fleet, I don't think they're worried.
You're clearly not well versed in UK society if you think the British police is well known for cost-saving. BMWs are by far the most common police cars on the road.
