How to distinct between social and economic issues?

Postby Socialist State of LAY » Fri Feb 08, 2019 2:55 am

Hello. I am playing this game for almost 2 years now but it's still extremely difficult for me to know which issues will affect my economic freedom? I feel like every time I give my people access to something, it's automatically increasing the economic freedom as well, for example, drugs. How can I approach this? I try to have high civil rights and low economic freedom but these 2 stats directly contradict each other in nationstates i feel.

There's a big overlap between political rights, economic rights and civil rights in real life, and there's also an overlap within the game.

However, generally speaking you can relate anything that has to do with property, trade or the allowing the movement of money as relating to economic freedoms.

In this game the right to use drugs is a personal freedom / civil right, while the right to sell drugs is an economic freedom.

Hope that helps.
