Zhouran Central News Agency 01/13/XX Russia Won't Buy Zhouranese Raw Material & Goods Russian Strongman Vladimir Putin says Russia will not buy Zhouranese raw material and consumer goods until Kang Yingyong "reaffirms" commitment to Russian-Zhouranese Bilateral Friendship The President of the Russian Federation sent a message to Senior Marshal Kang Yingyong this morning, telling him that Russia will halt the import of Zhouranese raw material and consumer goods if he does not "reaffirm" his commitment to Russian-Zhouranese Bilateral Friendship. Recently the relations between the two nations, Russia being a traditional friend of Zhouran, has been rocky mainly due to the situation in Ukraine and Crimea, in which Zhouran takes a neutral stand but asks both sides including Russia to find a diplomatic solution. When Russia's economy underwent a financial crisis in 2014 following their annexation of Crimea and military intervention in Ukraine, Zhouranese investors and businessmen in Russia returned home due to Russia's unstable economic situation. After the Kerch Straight incident on November 25 of last year between Russia's FSB and the Ukrainian Navy, Zhouran called for deescalation between the two countries, but at the same time also criticized Russia's use of force. During an afternoon conference, a spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs said that Zhouran will "strongly reaffirm" its commitment to Russian-Zhouranese Friendship and that the country will continue to uphold its foreign policy of non-aligned neutrality, a policy that has given Zhouran the position of maintaining positive relations between the East and the West. "The People's Republic of Zhouran will also continue to avoid intervening in the internal situations of different nations and instead act as a mediator for conflicting parties" the spokesperson added. When asked by journalists about the future of Russian-Zhouranese relations, the spokesperson replied the two countries will "remain as friends" and that Zhouran will also continue to promote friendship and peace with the European Union and the United States. Zhouran Central News Agency 1/13/XX Zhouranese Sub Commander Demoted After Hiring Prostitutes In Cambodia A ZPA Navy submarine commander gets demoted after being found hiring prostitutes during his time in the Southeast Asian country Type 1990 Hadamo-class SSN "Thundering Ambiance of Undying Courage" sailing off the coast of Argentina during a naval voyage across the Atlantic Ocean on December 4, 2008 A ZPA Navy submarine commander was disciplined and demoted today after admitting to paying for female prostitutes while stationed in Cambodia in August of last year. The officer, an experienced submarine commander who held the rank of Third Class Captain prior to getting demoted, lost the confidence to command the highly-sophisticated Type 1990 Hadamo-class nuclear-powered attack submarine "Thundering Ambiance of Undying Courage" and was relieved of duty following the investigation. The investigation was launched following a tip from one of the crewmembers of the submarine, saying his commander told him he "requested/ordered eight girls to arrive at the hotel", according to documents obtained by ZCNA. The sailor later saw the commander with around eight "provocatively-dressed females outside the front door of the hotel". Another sailor was also apparently enjoying the company of women and was seen with four "local females holding onto his arm as he was wandering around" and greeting his fellow sailors. The incident occurred in August 16 of 2018, the criminal investigation began a few days after the incident on August 19. Navy provosts from the Naval Provost Bureau of the Military Provost Command of the Zhouranese People's Army reportedly confronted the submarine commander with the allegations, to which the officer admitted "culpability in the payment of female accompaniment", according to the documents released to the publication. The second accused sailor was interviewed, but he "did not participate" and was therefore not disciplined. Originally the commander was to face a summary trial at a military court for committing a minor misconduct but instead it was decided to have him simply disciplined and demoted. The issue and controversies of Zhouranese soldiers stationed abroad hiring prostitutes became common during the 1980s and 1990s, but over the past years the ZPA cracked down on Zhouranese military personnel overseas hiring prostitutes due to various reasons including health, moral, and public image. Zhouran Central News Agency 01/13/XX Zhouran Shows Solidarity With Venezuela's Opposition Transitional Government In an ongoing Venezuelan Presidential crisis, Juan Guaidó and the National Assembly declare incumbent Nicolás Maduro "illegitimate" and start the process of attempting to remove him The Ministry of External Affairs has announced that the People's Republic of Zhouran officially supports Venezuela's pro-opposition transitional government, led by Juan Guaidó. After incumbent Nicolás Maduro was sworn in for a second term as President of Venezuela on January 10, Guaidó was declared the interim President of Venezuela on the next day by the National Assembly, which was disavowed by Maduro in 2017 but is seen by most nations such as Zhouran as the only legitimate transparent body in Venezuela. In an online statement, the Ministry of External Affairs stated Maduro's re-election is illegitimate and that the People's Republic of Zhouran recognizes Juan Guaidó as Venezuela's legitimate acting president. The Ministry of External Affairs also called for Maduro to step down and stop clinging to Russia and China, as well as adding that Zhouran will reaffirm its continued support to the Venezuelan Opposition against the Maduro regime. Zhouran Central News Agency 01/15/XX Trade Union Leader Calls Kang Airong A Political-Hardline Thug In Military Uniform Head of the Wandou Patriotic Workers' Union for Members of Cooperatives denounces Kang Yingyong's son as a hardline thug who uses his military position to 'interfere in politics' Mr Hadasheng Yadang, secretary-general of the moderate-aligned Wandou Patriotic Workers' Union for Members of Cooperatives, released a video online in which he actively denounced Field Marshal Kang Airong as a "political-hardline thug who wears a military uniform to interfere in politics for the sake of hardline interests". In the video, Mr Hadasheng condemned Kang Airong for "secretly intervening in national-level politics in the interests of the political-hardline", the 47-year-old union leader and tradesman also described Kang Yingyong's son as a "reckless and spoiled gangster" who should be "in some street gang committing crime" and not in the ZPA. "The People's Army is a trusted institution that defends the Workers, Traditions, and the Motherland, not the interests of hardline thugs" Mr Hadasheng added. "If Kang Airong wants to be a gangster and trouble-maker who flashes his guns, wealth, and mistresses in front of the camera, then he is more than welcome to retire from military service and become either a corporate businessman or a head of a criminal gang". The video ended with the union leader telling other moderate-aligned workers' union to "raise their weapons" against political hardliners and keep "hardline predators" off the streets and off the production line. This isn't the first time Kang Airong, the son of Senior Marshal Kang Yingyong and a battle-experienced decorated officer, has been accused of interfering in national-level politics. Back in 2017, rumors circulated that Kang Yingyong was grooming his son to potentially become the next President of the State Presidium, to which Kang Yingyong personally denied the rumors. Kang Airong has also been accused of harboring politically-hardline sentiments, although the high-ranking officer has denied having interests in politics numerous times. The head of the Wandou Patriotic Workers' Union for Members of Cooperatives has a history of making inflammatory remarks towards political-hardliners, and in fact Mr Hadasheng has a penchant for calling people who he dislikes as "hardliners". Many political-moderates disagree with Mr Hadasheng's views, some call him a conspiracy theorist while others call him a troll. Within the Zhouranese side of the Internet, many netizens, whether they be political-moderates or political-hardliners, have already ridiculed Hadasheng Yadang for his video. In fact, many netizens online have already mobilized in creating memes to mock the head of the Wandou Patriotic Workers' Union for Members of Cooperatives. Not only that, because Mr Hadasheng described Kang Airong as some sort of gangster, many netizens have already posted photoshopped pics of Kang Airong as a gangster as well as photoshopping his head unto the bodies of various famous Zhouranese rappers and hip-hop artists. Laimo Yuna, a member of the Z-style punk-rock band Sector 571, posted on her social media account saying "if Kang Yingyong's son really is a money-hungry womanizing gangster in military uniform, then I support having him as the nation's next president of the state presidium", meanwhile singer, songwriter and actor Chenrong Nalan made a post saying "morons who believe in stupid conspiracies and call anyone they hate a member of an opposing side should spend less time making up stupid bullsh*t and more time actually doing their job'". Arriving in the Caribbean communist state as part of its long-distance voyage from the Pacific to the Indian Ocean and all the way to the Atlantic, the destroyer was welcomed by Cuba's Rio Damuji-class corvette/frigate "Rio Jatibonico" just outside the entrance of Havana Bay. The group, which consists of the Type 2003 Haixiao-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier "Transcended Seeker of Cleansing Resolve", two Type 2004 Laixinsun-class nuclear-powered guided-missile destroyers, two Type 1999 Kaiming-class guided-missile destroyers, and two Type 1993 Zhandouji-class guided-missile destroyers, will remain in the region for four months, by April 16 the current group will rotate with a second group that will be in the region for four months also before rotating with a third group. The Ministry of Defense released a statement online stating that the combat naval group will "cooperate closely with the Nigerian Navy and ensure the safety of seafarers in the Gulf of Guinea" as well as "reducing piracy in the region through the use of force". Zhouran Central News Agency 01/18/XX Kang Yingyong Tells Citizens Climate Change Is No Laughing Matter Senior Marshal Kang Yingyong says climate change cannot be written off as a difference of opinion Earlier on at 22:37 Zhouran Standard Time (UTC+11:00) yesterday, Senior Marshal Kang Yingyong warned the country that climate change is "no laughing matter" and that it poses an "enormous" security threat to the nation. Addressing to a group of hundreds of reservists from the ZPA Ground Force, Air Force, and Navy, along with reporters and journalists, at the National Defense Complex in the national capital, the President of the State Presidium called on the entire country to put the welfare of the environment and nation before the interests of any individual. "While internationalist corporate-backed big banks do not care about the environment, here in Zhouran, climate change is no laughing matter" he said. "From what I am seeing, I cannot fathom how the interests of selfish money-seeking corporate internationalists could be placed above the welfare of the people and environment." In regards to renewable energy, Kang Yingyong understands the benefits of wind and solar power, but at the same time knows their disadvantages. "Wind and solar power are great, but the problem is that those two sources of energy do not produce enough electricity at a massive scale" he stated. "Wind and solar power are great at a local level, however the real future lies on the fate of nuclear power". Bringing up Premier Tan Zhineng's promise to increase Zhouran's nuclear industry and decrease the power usage of coal-based sources, the President of the State Presidium told the audience "the People's Republic is the world's leading nation in nuclear power, we have the largest number of nuclear power plants as well as the highest amount of electricity production using nuclear sources". He also added "not only are we leading in nuclear fission energy but also in nuclear fusion research, we have been conducting nuclear fusion research for decades know and in fact nuclear physics has always been a subject of interest within Zhouranese research circles for who knows how long". Regarding Zhouran's nuclear power sector experiencing an investment boom throughout 2018, Kang Yingyong told the audience Zhouran will completely end the usage of coal power "in a couple of decades time" before completely switching to all-nuclear "before the end of the 21st Century". "As a responsible global power, it is our obligation to research on efficient energy sources so as to keep our civilization prosperous and functioning, our competitors in the West are too busy arguing on whether climate change is a fairy tale or not while their elites siphon money off the poor and cut down several square kilometers worth of delicate rainforests in impoverished nations" Kang Yingyong added. The Punitive Mission against the State of Burma was officially declared to be over when a joint assault unit of British, Frievolker, Indian, Australasian, and German forces managed to breach the city of Naypyidaw and force the Military Junta to unconditionally surrender. The Seldom-used Burmese Assembly House of Naypyidaw was put to use when Four of the Seven current Great Powers called for a general meeting, citing WA charter to suggest that a new setting of Permanent and Temporary seats was to be arranged.

That was 14 January. The delegation of the last of the 50 countries finally arrived on 16th, and in a surprising turn of events, the World Assembly has declared some very interesting news. The current formation of the World Powers, which had been drawn originally on Congress of Moscow, 1981 (when Russia officially became a World Power), has been toppled most strongly. The Congress had only started when the delegation of Iran rose and respectfully asked The Delegation of Moscow to give up his seat, suggesting that the Russian ambitions for Greatness were no longer tolerated by the Great Powers of the World.

The Iranian delegate's demand was further supported by the World Assembly's Committee for Comparison of the Great Powers, which indeed submitted that Russia could no longer be considered a World Power as, in context of military scaling, global power, economic backing, and diplomatic support. Of course, Russia had always had a shaky spot as the last World Power, and was never as consolidated in its power as China or Japan -the ones directly above her-, and it is not surprising for an aspiring Country to take her place, especially considering as Iran was -up until the 1800s- a Great Power in and of itself.

Along with that, France leaves her spot as a Relevant Powers for the first time since 1815, instead replaced by Iberia, which has seen an exponential rise in economic power following the lifting of the WA's embargo on it. Iberia's powerful economy, only worked more on as the Worldwide Embargo reached critical levels in order to be able to accommodate the country's welfare and production, has put them in spot as one of the most powerful economies now that the embargo doesn't neuter their economic prowess. This, of course, puts France in the danger of being zoned by Britain, Germany, and the Frievolker Empire as their respective spheres of influence, but there is no proof of that happening in the near future.

Aside from that, a number of seating orders were changed, and new Spheres of Influence were confirmed. The World Assembly officially declared the State of Burma to be abolished, and partitioned territory formerly under its sovereignty into an Indian and a Siamese zone, which will be annexed by the individual countries once the summit is officially over.

During a phone conversation, Su Rongyu told Stoltenberg "military cooperation between Zhouran and NATO is highly important to the stability of regional security in Europe" and that "Zhouran will always remain open to dialogue and cooperation with NATO partners". He also told the secretary-general that Zhouran will also continue cooperation with Russia and that dialogue between NATO and Russia should remain open so as to "avoid total war in Europe". In regards to Zhouran enforcing its obligation on greater cooperation with Europe, Su Rongyu told Stoltenberg that Zhouran "will always cooperate in guarding world peace as part of its obligation as a responsible world power", which is a reference to that time on August 30th of 2017 when Senior Marshal Kang Yingyong and Senior Marshal Su Rongyu presided over a large-scale military exercise conducted by the Ground Force and Air Force of the Zhouranese People's Army in Nanxun District, Yanhai Province. The phone conversation ended with Su Rongyu telling Stoltenberg that Zhouran "disapproves Russia's use of force against Ukraine" and that the country "will always promote peaceful diplomacy through strength instead of violent military aggression". Zhouran Central News Agency 01/18/XX Human Rights Watch Concerned About Zhouran's Increase Of Cybersecurity And Surveillance On Citizens The increase of power that allow authorities to read encrypted phone messages have been raised as an abuse of human rights by Human Rights Watch The latest Human Rights Watch report has raised concerns about the decision made by the State Presidium to increase the usage of facial recognition technology and surveillance of encrypted phone messages in order to bolster national security. In the World Report 2019, the organization identifies significant human rights abuses in numerous countries and territories including Zhouran. Human Rights Watch criticized Zhouran's authoritarian nature and its treatment of foreigners. It also looked at Zhouran's cybersecurity and surveillance practices, noting that the recent decision made by the State Presidium that is aimed at tackling terrorism and illegal activities did not do enough to protect against abuse. The broadly drafted powers will enable authorities to force encrypted messaging apps to send their users fake software updates that would allow them to read their messages. They could also secretly add others to chats, or turn phones or smart speakers into live listening devices. "Zhouran's increased usage of cyber surveillance, by weakening encryption for some, will weaken it for everyone" Human Rights Watch told ZCNA. Thanks to the decision made by the State Presidium on January 15, authorities now have more power to spy on encrypted communications without judicial oversight or other safeguards. The Human Rights Watch report said the database of people's physical characteristics and identities also lacked adequate safeguards against abuse. This database would link facial images and data from across the nation and integrate them with a facial recognition system. In general, the report said Zhouran has a strong record of protecting civil rights but serious human rights issues remain. Those include the nation's "draconian practice" of giving particularly-harsh punishments to criminals who have committed only minor petty crimes such as vandalism, hooliganism and anti-social behavior. Shockingly, senile Asian Communist Party member, Congressman, and War Veteran, Ren Hui, has announced his intentions to resign from Congress and political affairs as a whole for reasons concerning his detrimental health conditions.

Ren, 68-Year-Old former Colonel for the National Democratic Front, served under both Chinese and Soviet armies as an intelligence officer. He has been credited with the interrogation and infiltration of several key military bases from behind enemy lines in Hokkaido. He also commanded a Scout Company for the Red Army during the Battle of North Borneo, and has been credited with at least 51 confirmed kills as an infantryman. He has served 2 terms as a 'liberal' Congressman under two different Secretary-Generals, and has legislated both the Environmental Efficiency Act and the Offensive Communications Act as a prime leader of political and socio-economic reform.

Ren has been advised rest by health authorities, and he has taken the initiative of preparing for retirement by resigning his post, ruling himself unfit for further service. Just earlier this year, Ren was assuaged by 2 cases of severe heart attacks. While doctors refuse to disclose the criticality of his condition, many suspect that his well-lived life may come to an end by natural means at almost any moment.

In an interview, he stated plans to live with the rest of his family in Xi'an together in their ancestral home. The Federal government is currently undergoing the process of approval to Ren's sentiments. Ren's resignation has put the general public in distraught, having been one of many famous politicians and veterans who have or are in danger of passing-away this year due to health risks and old age.

According to the MoD, the combat naval group, which consists of the Type 2010 Leiming-class nuclear-powered supercarrier "Undying Messenger of June 17th", Type 1998 Leiyu-class nuclear-powered supercarrier "Heart of Courage", three Type 1988 Xixin-class guided-missile destroyers, three Type 1991 Atali-class guided-missile destroyers, three Type 2006 Lieren-class guided-missile destroyers and two Type 2004 Laixinsun-class nuclear-powered guided-missile destroyers, will "conduct simulated scenarios involving anti-aircraft warfare, anti-submarine warfare, and maritime rescue drills". The MoD also stated that the exercise is aimed at "reassuring freedom of navigation and upholding regional stability and security" and that the Zhouranese People's Army "strongly upholds freedom of navigation through the display of military strength" in order to "deter nations that do not uphold the right to navigate freely in international waters". The ZPA Navy is known for regularly holding freedom of navigation operations and exercises in contested areas including the South China Sea to emphasize its rights to travel freely around the world. Zhouran has recently ramped up its already-large presence in the contested sea due to China's expansionist view towards the SCS. Zhouran Central News Agency 01/19/XX 2019 Tariffs On American Goods Barely Affects Zhouran's Ever-Growing Economy Despite some predictions from analysts, Zhouran's highly-resilient booming economy continues to grow despite tariffs on American goods Earlier this year on January 5, Grand Admiral Tan Zhineng, Premier of the Central Council, announced that, under the decision-making of the State Presidium, tariffs would be placed on American goods in order to "prevent unfair trade practices from the Americans" and "defend the rights and jobs of the working-class from western corporate bureaucracy". On January 7, some analysts fear negative effects on both Zhouranese-American Trade and Zhouran's economy. Despite some predictions, data shows that Zhouran's massive highly-resilient multi-trillion economy, which has been growing at an impressive rate since 2017, still continues to rise at a healthy pace. While Zhouranese-American trade has slowed down, many analysts say this is mainly due to many Zhouranese investors losing confidence in the American market, with the Zhouranese tariff on American goods having little effect on the situation. Zhouran Central News Agency 01/19/XX Kang Yingyong Pressures US President To End Shutdown Zhouran's President of the State Presidium says he fully supports the American workers as the US shutdown continues on for days In a video message publicly released by the State Presidium, Senior Marshal Kang Yingyong has piled pressure on America's embattled president as the US shutdown still continues. In the video, Zhouran's President of the State Presidium pledged his leadership will "continue to uphold workers' rights and do everything to protect and support the workers of the world". "I believe a solution will soon come in the United States" said Kang Yingyong. He added "this so-called 'shutdown' in America is not only affecting their own government workers but even the everyday citizens of their country". Regarding Donald Trump's plan to build a wall across the US-Mexico border, Kang Yingyong stated a wall "will not ensure total national security against illegal immigration" and that a "wall with no workers" is nothing more than an "ostentatious and extravagant showpiece to trick people into supporting it". "While national security is highly important to the safety of citizens, shutting down your own government and not paying government workers all for the sake of a wall is simply a sign of cowardice, selfishness and narcissism" Kang Yingyong added. Kang Airong, the son of Kang Yingyong, posted on social media "the f*cking wall can be easily circumvented, I wonder if the US homeland-security agency understands that Mexicans can board planes and dig tunnels under the border, but then again the US is going through some silly shutdown all because of a wall". From the International Economic Report for Q4 2018, Zhouran was ranked third and now for the first quarter of 2019 the country is ranked first. The report stated "despite a shaky world economic outlook, Zhouran's adaptable and resilient economy leads the world in highest economic output". It also mentioned how the 2019 tariffs on American goods has little-to-no effect on Zhouran's economic output and that the rise in total job vacancies will further boost Zhouran's ever-growing economy. "The Zhouranese economic powerhouse continues to grow amidst a bleak world economic situation" the report added. Indeed, Zhouran's highly-resilient multi-trillion economy remains adaptable to the changing tides of world economics, not to mention that the country leads the world in workers' rights as the average Zhouranese worker enjoys high pay, work-based autonomy, and workers' freedom. Zhouran Central News Agency 01/19/XX Hadasheng Yadang Slammed For Racism During Secret Conversation The infamous leader of the Wandou Patriotic Workers' Union for Members of Cooperatives was criticized for racism during a secret conversation This afternoon, Mr Hadasheng Yadang, the infamous secretary-general of the moderate-aligned Wandou Patriotic Workers' Union for Members of Cooperatives and the one who called Kang Yingyong's son a hardline thug, has been accused of racism during a secret conversation with an unknown Kangyuli ethnic-supremacist. Mr Hadasheng had arrived in Ouyang yesterday for a speech at a conference this morning. After the conference he attended on, Mr Hadasheng met with a member of a Kangyuli ethnic-supremacist group called "War Wolves of the 77th Blood Order" at a local cafe. Unbeknownst to Mr Hadasheng, the ethnic supremacist was secretly recording their conversation, probably as a tool to blackmail him. During the conversation, Mr Hadasheng was discussing about how the Chinese and South Koreans, to which he likened them to "soulless insects", use economic deception and subversion to undermine competitors and exploit the world economy. Not only that, because of China's recent expansionist behavior, Mr Hadasheng stated how the Chinese "are becoming as aggressive as the Americans" and that the Zhouranese military should "turn Beijing and Shanghai into a nuclear wasteland". "They're cockroaches, the radiation won't harm them" said the ethnic supremacist, to which Mr Hadasheng responded "less radiation, more explosions". On the subject of Africa, Mr Hadasheng called the continent "a basket full of riches" and the two men went on a racist tirade that sounded straight out of a conversation between white supremacists. When it came to the subject of the West, Mr Hadasheng described Europe as "a land falling from grace" while describing America as a "disgusting barrel of mulattoes that steal the achievements of other ethnic groups including Europeans and turn everything they touch into degenerate dogsh*t". The entire recorded conversation, which lasts for thirty-two minutes, was released online by an anonymous individual. There are more content from the recording to talk about but due to the highly-offensive nature of the conversation, ZCNA will not mention it here. Since the leaking of the recording, Mr Hadasheng has been criticized and harshly denounced from both political-moderates and political-hardliners for his racist behavior, and not only that but the man has now been kicked out of the Wandou Patriotic Workers' Union for Members of Cooperatives for good. The union released an online statement, saying "Mr Hadasheng's disgusting display of chauvinistic racism does not fit in with our anti-racist beliefs, no race is superior to others and as a result we denounce Mr Hadasheng to the point of kicking him out". Meanwhile, the War Wolves of the 77th Blood Order has praised Mr Hadasheng for "speaking the unspeakable truth" and that he is "more than welcome" to join among their ranks. Zhouran Central News Agency 1/19/XX Japanese Whaling Boat Buzzed By Zhouranese Naval Fighter Jets A Japanese whaling boat was buzzed by Zhouranese carrier-borne fighter jets this afternoon, the jets in particular were partaking in a naval exercise before the incident A ZPA Naval Aviation Type 115-400 carrier-borne fighter jet conducting an anti-ship drill during a naval exercise in the South China Sea on June 13, 1994 In the northeast of the Philippine Sea, a Japanese fish-processing vessel was buzzed by three ZPA Naval Aviation Type 114-700 carrier-borne fighter jets. These three fighter jets in particular were deployed from the Type 1998 Leiyu-class nuclear-powered supercarrier "Heart of Courage" and were partaking in an air-defense drill as part of a nine-day live-fire naval exercise in the northeast of the Philippine Sea. According to Zhouran's Ministry of Defense, the three fighter jets flew at high-speed in low-altitude to intimidate the Japanese whalers. According to a weapon systems operator in one of the three jets, he saw the Japanese whalers frantically cover the carcass of a freshly-killed minke whale on its deck. Luckily for the WSO, he had an action-camera mounted on his flight helmet, and because the fighter jet he was on was flying at an altitude of around a hundred meters and just thirty meters away from the Japanese whaling vessel, he was able to catch the whalers red-handed. Following the incident, Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs lodged a complaint stating that the "aggressive military display" was "negatively affecting" the vessel crew and that they were simply "conducting legal research under the International Convention for the Regulation of Whaling", to which both Zhouran and Australia strongly challenge such baseless claim. The Ministry of External Affairs of Zhouran made a statement saying that the country "strongly upholds the values of conservation" and that as a party to the ICRW the People's Republic "will always strongly oppose illegal whaling, especially when conducted by Japanese whalers". Zhouran's Supreme Court, in addition to scientists and environmental organizations within the country, consider the Japanese research program to be unscientific and baseless, describing it as a poorly-done facade for commercial whaling operations. Japan argues it is entitled to continue whaling because of whaling's place in its cultural heritage, as a result many of Zhouran's hardline ethno-nationalists have come to describe Japanese culture as "less sophisticated" and "primitive" compared to Zhouranese culture, and this is due to various reasons with Japan's whaling culture being one of them. The whale meat from Japanese whale hunts is sold in shops and restaurants, and is showcased at an annual food festival that, in some cases, features the butchering of a whale for onlookers. The report stated that exports to Saudi Arabia reached US$191.7 million while exports to Egypt was reaching US$241.5 million and US$177.3 million for exports to Jordan. EDITORIAL: Socialist States Are More Democratic Than Capitalist Ones

Recent news of statistical development has captured the effectivity of Pan-Asiatic governance in terms of expanding the reaches of democracy. The workers are now in control of their own production, emancipated by our Party's policies. We have, undoubtedly, baffled the world. We; evolutionary successors of Trotskyism, grounded in Marxist-Leninism, guided by Xi Jinping Thought and a thousand other varieties of thinking, in accordance to Maoist teachings that a thousand ideas must contend-- have struck doubt. Some, even those self-proclaimed 'Leftists' have called our Federation 'capitalist in nature', or have accused our national fathers of being 'Orwellian' megalomaniacs faking a World Census.

Of course, the idea of Socialism being naturally incompatible with democracy is not in any way, an old idea; so let's get historical claims out of the way first. Let’s consider the Soviet form of Democracy in 1936 versus the Western form. At the time, Britain had an unelected House of Lords (still does), while Canada had, and continues to have, an unelected Senate. Of 500 million inhabitants of the British Empire, only 70 million, or 1/7th, lived in political democracies. South Africa denied suffrage to its black population. In Canada and Australia, aboriginal people were not allowed to vote. India had no political democracy at all, and was governed by the British civil service. The United States denied civil rights to its black citizens, who lived in a state of oppression. In contrast, suffrage in the USSR was universal, hardly the tyranny by comparison with the West that Stone and Kuznick would have us believe it was.

The various peoples of the U.S.S.R were unified. Starvation and illiteracy were unknown throughout the country. Agriculture was completely collectivized and extremely productive. Preventive health care was the finest in the world, and medical treatment of exceptionally high quality was available free to all citizens. Education at all levels was free. More books were published in the U.S.S.R than in any other country. There was no unemployment, and there still isn't any. For all these miracles, can we truly say it is inherent to some subordinate-based racial or cultural aspect as others will point out? No. Of course not. The secret lies in a political system that challenges itself to make up for its past mistakes: the People's Democracy, or, the Dictatorship of the Proletariat.

The truth is, the People's Democracy is less radical than Western media poses it to be. Philosophy has evolved significantly over centuries, however, Western philosophy has largely dominated our thinking. Logic and analytical thinking are not the only instruments to derive truth from facts. Dialectical thinking is an ancient but highly relevant mode of thinking that is employed to seek truth when analytical thinking fails. It neither produces a 'society of laziness and starvation' nor forces its workers into labor. It seeks to use Democracy to determine felt solutions, converse to incomprehensible theories which now comprise the Soviet and European thermidor, as well as the age-old Capitalist West.

The objective of analytical thinking is to render a statement as true or false. Such thinking ignores both context and historical materialism of an event. To put this into context, let us ask ourselves a timeless and boundless question. Is the Pan-Asiatic States authoritarian? Technically, yes. That in itself is analytical thinking, based on only isolated demonstrations.

Dialectical thinking, on the other hand, helps us to synthesize two opposite but equally true statements by examining the context and the historical totality of the event in question. Radical analysts would perceive a world where a coconut- being both hairy and capable of producing milk, logically speaking in their own light, as mammalian as a cow would be; the attribution of certain principles to that of which it should not be applied to. Under dialectical thinking, we tell you that the question aforementioned is nonsensical, and should not have been asked in the first place.

As we say as well, that socialist states are more democratic than capitalist states is equally true as the statement that socialist states are authoritarian. In dialectical thinking, when a question has two equally true but opposite answers, we seek to change the question itself. For political society as a whole it is no longer of individual liberty that we seek but of individual security. With the right to education, healthcare, housing, and jobs, life in socialist states is far more secure than life in capitalist states where poverty, hunger, homelessness, healthcare costs, house rent, and unemployment are rising rapidly and severely incapacitating the working class. As Stalin had said,

“It is difficult for me to imagine what “personal liberty” is enjoyed by an unemployed person, who goes about hungry, and cannot find employment. Real liberty can exist only where exploitation has been abolished, where there is no oppression of some by others, where there is no unemployment and poverty, where a man is not haunted by the fear of being tomorrow deprived of work, of home, and of bread. Only in such a society is real, and not paper, personal and every other liberty possible.”


In dialectical thinking, the meaning of words is interpreted differently. The “dictatorship” of the proletariat in Marxist theory does not mean a ruthless, soulless dictatorship of an all-powerful dictator who exploits the people for personal gain but instead the dictatorship of a State that represents the working class, instead of the ruling class, and which exercises authority only to keep counter-revolutions by the ruling class in check, or to fight off external aggression, as it works to remove economic class distinctions in society. The dictatorship is literally, that of the people dictating the political system-- not the political system dictating the people. Such a truth would be ironic even, considering that dictators; American, Japanese, and Soviet have all been toppled throughout the 20th Century, by the people of Asia.

It is this dictatorship of the proletariat that has enabled the Pan-Asiatic States to build a society that is far healthier, happier, more optimistic, and secure than capitalist societies. If that is your definition of a dictatorship, then perhaps all nations should strive to be one.

On December 10 of last year, Zhouran and China agreed in upholding peace and stability in the South China Sea. Just recently, the Ministry of Defense has announced that Zhouran's already-massive military presence in the South China Sea "will be further bolstered in order to curb China's aggressive expansionist policies and deter all parties from firing the first shot". The announcement has already shocked the public, however various military and diplomatic analysts were not surprised by the announcement. According to the MoD, the ZPA Navy will increase freedom-of-navigation exercises in the South China Sea while in the air both the ZPA Air Force and ZPA Naval Aviation will expand upon air-policing operations above the sea. Zhouran already maintains a massive military presence in the Southeast Asian region, not to mention that Zhouran is one of two nations on earth to have hundred-thousand and more soldiers stationed overseas, the other being the United States. However, researchers from the National Institute of Military Science in Ouyang say the decision to further bolster military presence in the South China Sea was made following China's aggressive behavior towards the US in regards to the Taiwan Affair. "The Chinese are becoming very desperate, so in order to create this artificial facade of a supposed militarily-strong nation, the Chinese regime is projecting towards the US by using Taiwan and the South China Sea as a rationale to display military aggression while still being too afraid to have their military actually face off against American or Zhouranese naval vessels" said one analyst from NIMS. "Basically, Xi Jinping is projecting, he wants his citizens to believe that China's military is strong and effective against actual superpower militaries, but it's no secret that China's People's Liberation Army is decades behind the Zhouranese People's Army and United States Armed Forces when it comes to technology and combat experiences". In regards to Zhouran's large-scale live-fire naval exercise that's currently being conducted in the northeast of the Philippine Sea, the analyst described the situation as "Third Taiwan Strait Crisis all over again". He added "in the mid 1990s, when China and the US faced off regarding what was happening in Taiwan, us Zhouranese stood neutral but at the same time we held massive military drills that numbered at the hundreds of thousands of troops from the Ground Force, Air Force, and Navy. We were basically displaying strength towards the Chinese and the US by showcasing our latest fighter jets, destroyers, aircraft carriers, and MIRV-equipped ICBMs, we were basically giving out the message that we can be mediators but we're happy to use force if needed". Within Zhouran's military circles, there has been rumors that China is planning to attack Taiwan. Many veterans say that if that time comes, Zhouran should actually aid the Taiwanese and the US against the Chinese. One veteran who ZCNA quickly interviewed, a former soldier who served in the Ground Force, said that if China does use military force, he is more than happy to "help the boys in Taiwan". Another veteran ZCNA quickly interviewed, this time a former carrier-based fighter pilot from ZPA Naval Aviation, said he was more than happy to "get back into service and shoot the Chinese out of the sky above Taipei". While it is unknown how many Zhouranese servicemen and women are willing to assist the Taiwanese, especially considering the fact that Zhouran does not recognize the Republic of China, many veterans say that China's aggression should be kept in check by increasing Zhouran's military presence around China and deter them from using force. The same retired diplomat who said that Senior Marshal Kang Yingyong's foreign policy was actually created to form a 'strategic encirclement' around the United States has stated on an interview with ZCNA that Kang Yingyong is "fully aware of China's expansionist agendas". "Kang Yingyong sees Xi Jinping as much of a big threat to Zhouranese interests as Donald Trump" the former diplomat said.
